I had knee surgery and one of my amazing friends asked if she could pick up dinner for myself, my significant other and get herself dinner also. This is a fine new restaurant in the Olivers shopping center. There are mostly positives than negatives to Acme. The service is friendly and the set up is simple. Most of the seats were high tables and benches which gave an informal fun vibe. The menu is about the right size and there's indoor and outdoor seating. The bathrooms were clean. The decorations and the music had a fun theme to it; the music was 1940's swing. I went on a Saturday when there were lots of people. The restaurant's moto is "good food fast." The problem is, the food did not come fast, and while it was good--it was not great. I ordered a turkey burger and an ahi burger. Both were dry and over cooked. The turkey burger was pretty basic, there was nothing exceptional about any of their sauces. The bread looked and tasted store bought. The one positive was the sweet potato fries were very good. They had just the right amount of salt, and they used a large chunky salt, which I prefer. Maybe next time I'll order and actual burger. I'll give this restaurant a second chance, but the first impression was good, not great. read more

I went this Saturday to pick up a burger with my brother and the food was great and tasted excellent. The only issue I have is that the person who attended us smelled like alcohol, as if he had been drinking. Another issue was that the burger didn't come as I had ordered it. It's not the first time iv noticed that person smells of alcohol too, and I would recommend hiring more responsible workers who maybe won't drink while working. read more

The only reason I am not giving this place a five start is because it took 50 minutes to get my burger on a Friday night (after the busy time). I know they are relatively new so I will not judge them too hard (hence the 4 stars). When the burger finally arrived it was GOOD. I mean it didn't sit in the window for several minutes. OMG these are some darn good burgers! I ordered through Doordash, and expensive option, but with Covid and all its a easier option. First the burger.. I ordered a blue cheese, sauteed onion burger and avocado burger. It had lettuce and tomato on it as well with extra Awesome Sauce. Very messy, but so yummy! The burger was still warm and had just a hint of pink in the middle. I prefer medium rare, but that is not an option. The bun, okay, its toasted and a bit crunchy and so so good. Can you tell how much I enjoyed the burger? My only complaint is it needed more blue cheese. Second, the tater tots. I would of given 5 stars, but the tater tots were disappointing. They are basic, which is fine, but they arrived NOT crispy and cold. They give you a very large portion, but I wouldn't order them again. I tried to cook them again in the toaster oven, still not good. I will be back for another burger though! read more

This place has fantastic Burgers, Tots, and Sweet Potato Fries. Generous helping sizes... and a great topping and cheese selection for the burgers. We sat on the back patio, it was Oyster Night and they were BBQing them on the back patio. Happened to meet the owner. Very friendly guy. I went to Acme Burger today with my two adult sons and husband to meet a dear friend and celebrate Valentines Day. The service was welcoming and cheerful, the menu was surprisingly varied for a burger place, and the food was very reasonably priced for what we got. The burgers were outstanding with cheese options I've not seen anywhere. I got the Sonoma double and shoestring fries and a cup of chili. Delicious! My son got a chicken sandwich and he said it was moist inside, not dried out. He also commented that the fries, chilli and cheese went together very well. They serve beer and wine and our favorite Golden State cider was on the menu. The outdoor dining area was comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back to try some of the other menu items! Even though we live in Mill Valley, it's worth taking a trip to Cotati for an Acme burger. read more

I rate the food a 6.4/10, 3 stars was the closest, but the service gets an extra star. Anyways, after coming in for a burger, fries and shake, I expected to have a lot more seasoning within the actual patty, it simply tastes like it was spiked with a pinch of salt and pepper. The fries were standard, nothing special, but not bad or decent by any means, perfect fry exterior with a soft McDonald's style interior. The shake was decent as well. The sauce, however, works wonders for the lack of seasoning of the patty, quite honestly the highlight of the meal which isn't always expected but I love a good sauce :) Aside from the criticisms, the produce used is fresh, the buns are great, just look out if you don't like sesame seeds. The husband and I have never been to acme burger, although we have driven past it many times, its a Saturday night so we thought to try something new. First impressions of stepping foot into the restaurant, it's a got a clean and cool but rustic look, great welcoming environment. The employees have great attitude, they answer any questions with great energy. The husband and I ordered the grass fed beef burger with different fixings, a beer to wait , for our to go order, and the husband ordered an ice cream cone which by the way is very delicious, Strauss organic ice cream. The wait was not to long, we enjoyed our stay during the wait. All in all I must say, I think we have a new favorite burger joint. read more

So yummy! The buttermilk fried chicken burger is so outstanding and no bun really needed. Loads of fries served and unlimited drinks. They offer beer as well and soon soft serve ice cream. Love having it within walking distance to home with outdoor seating to enjoy the nice weather.
