I had a disappointing experience with Marissa at Acme Feed & Seed in the airport this morning. I arrived around 6:30 a.m. with my 11-year-old after an early start to catch a flight. There wasn't a hostess at the front when we arrived, and I genuinely did not see the sign indicating guests should wait to be seated. Since the restaurant was nearly empty and other guests were already seated in the area, I simply took a seat. When Marissa came out from the back, she handed me menus and immediately told me this wasn't a seat-yourself restaurant. She pointed out the sign, rolled her eyes, and walked away. It felt like an unnecessary amount of attitude for what was clearly an honest mistake. A little kindness and understanding would have gone a long way, especially that early in the morning. Thankfully, Tory, the shift lead, was incredibly kind and professional when she learned what had happened. She handled the situation with southern warmth and courtesy, and I really appreciated her customer service. Unfortunately, Marissa's rude behavior left a negative impression on what should have been a simple interaction. read more

Located just outside of security at BNA. Super central convenient location. They have a really good selection of local beers & a few veggie friendly options on the menu. The veggie burger was delicious & the fries are the perfect amount of thin and crispy. Service was quite poor. Server walked away before our entire order was taken. Once our full order was finally taken, an entire entree was forgotten. That entree was then rushed & came out undercooked. There wasn't a lounge I could go to and this was the first sit down restaurant immediately after security. It's a central location. I loved the two very active staff members. I got seated at a nice table. You can sit at the bar and don't have to wait to be seated there. It was 6.30 am so the bar was out for me. My breakfast burrito arrived quickly. It was tasty. Breakfast choice is limited. I didn't see any omelettes on the menu. I loved the positive attitude of the staff and friendliness even though they were busy. The burger was well done when I asked for medium and it was dry and salty. It was a pretty lack luster burger and I don't know that would eat here again but I wanted a sit down burger and the menu made Acme look more promising than it turned out to be. Acme Feed & Seed is located just beyond TSA and is legit the first thing that welcomes you once you pass through security. Given that, we have hung out at Acme multiple times and have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and cocktails. Their menu is meat forward with chicken and burgers being prevalent. They have all the classics for each meal from breakfast platters including eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes to lunch that features burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and other southern-esk staples. Food has always been decent. Nothing to write home about, but nothing awful. It hits the spot and checks the boxes for an airport meal. Prices are airport standard. Nothing shocking, but still not fun. Drinks are standard, they have a full bar, so you can get what you want when you want...because the airport is a lawless place, so enjoy that 9:00 AM beer! Service is always solid. Hostess is always friendly, servers and bartenders are nice and helpful. Overall, Acme is a consistent spot for an airport drink or meal! read more

Ate here twice since it was the best option quality and price-wise. Ordered burger and it came out perfectly medium rare-- the chef knows how to cook! The fries looked sad, but it's just the quality fries they use. The hatchery breakfast (curried chickpeas, coconut rice, egg, etc) looked sad. Portion was tiny and overall didn't look that appetizing. Second time: got the granola bowl since it fit in our price range for our Delta flight meal voucher. Nice morning for a burger. Love the fact as you fly out of Nashville you can have the typical breakfast meal or have a burger. I chose the Acme Burger. It has lettuce, tomato (which I had removed) as well as their bacon jam (yummy). Side of crispy French fries as well. Very good taste, and great service by these folks. I ate here for breakfast at the Nashville Airport. I was immediately greeted and seated. I had a standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast with a coffee to drink. The food and coffee was as expected. The only think that I was disappointed with was that there was no butter on the toast but I was provided with one butter packet (and jelly also) to put it on myself. This being my first trip to Nashville the choices for dining were abounding. Acme Feed & Seed came up on the list of places I wanted to try and in the short weekend I had, I didn't think I would make it happen. To my delight, there is a sizable restaurant in the airport right after security checkpoint near the American Airlines check in. The food was so good!!! We had Rule The Roost which consisted of lightly breaded chicken, buttered Texas toast, American cheese, pickles and aioli, and it was amazing! I thought it would likely be dry and bland but it was hot and juicy. Don't let the "green peppercorn aioli" freak you out. It simply added wetness and flavor to the whole thing without being overpowering. We also had Ike & Mike's nachos and they were so good! The best queso I've had at an airport, and still rivals most others I've tasted. The the pico de gello was uh-mazing. I wish that the nacho cheese was hotter because it was lukewarm at best, and also, the sweet potato fries we ordered left a little to be desired given that they were dry and way to overcooked. But the food overall was bomb. I also tried the Bridesmaids Tears cocktail and it was right up my alley. Sweet but not too sweet. Tart but not too tart. Refreshing and colorful. You'll be ready to hit your next flight after eating at this yummy place. read more

We were in the airport the night before flying out and went airside to eat dinner and walk around plane spotting. We heard live music and ended up at Acme deciding to eat and listen. And for the airport pricing ($16 for this burger), I'd hoped at least for more fries. I literally got ten french fries. I asked the server if that was really the portion and he said yes. Next time we're flying, we'll go to Hattie B's, Pigstar, or Slim & Huskies where you'll get way bigger portions of great food for similar prices. 5 stars on a curve for airport eats. I enjoyed my meal at Acme Feed & Seed so much that I almost missed my flight enjoying a relaxing dining experience here. Actually, it's more likely that my lack of math acumen was the problem but I digress. I hadn't eaten yet that day and got to the airport early enough that I realized I could have a proper meal. My flight was out to SF so I knew if I didn't eat there, or grab something to go somewhere else, that I would not be eating anything other than expensive airplane snack boxes so I decided to settle in here. My waitress was lovely, checked what time my flight was to ensure that I was in good shape to board on time. I wasn't starving so I ordered one of their lighter dishes, The Hatchery, a filling bowl of curried chickpeas, coconut rice, cashews, cilantro, and a sunny side up egg served with a side of fry bread. Oh and an iced tea (this is important later). My dish came out quickly and it was great. Spicy, which I hadn't really realized so I knew I'd pay for it with heartburn later, but still very good. I sipped on my ice tea and made a few calls with my airpods in on noise cancelling mode (this is also important later). I settled my bill relatively easily and hung out a bit longer before acknowledging that this was a good time to head to my gate. I ask for a refill on my tea and bid Acme adieu with a happy belly. (OK, so this is really where the review ends but if you want the full flight story, keep on) My friends, I was SO confident that I had calculated the time I had to be there (based on my seating zone and when boarding closed) that I thought I even had time to stop and get a coffee. I said "no, it's better to get there with a little time left." So I roll up to the gate, iced tea in hand, and see that boarding had closed. I break out into a cold sweat and sprint up to the counter where two very frustrated attendants scolded me for almost missing the flight. Luckily they hadn't shut the gate door yet otherwise I would have been arranging a plan b hell of my own making. They continue, explaining that I had even been called several times over the airport PA (airpods drowned that out, I had no idea). As they were scanning my pass, they told me I had to throw out my drink. "It's iced tea?" I quietly whispered, trying not to make them any more pissed off. "Oh, that's ok then." they said. As I walk through the door I realize that they thought it was a cocktail and probably assumed I was three sheets to the wind. I was not. Just, you know, a dummy. Anyway, I got to SF in one piece and my meal was so filling I landed without needed to indulge in any overpriced airplane food. Thanks, Acme! read more

It was very tasty with a generous serving of pulled pork crispy, tortilla chips, cheese, black beans, and barbecue sauce. It is a large serving for $19 and would feed 2 to 3 people easily. But, Acme has earned this 5 star review as their tacos were fantastic! They're a perfect representation of Nashville with the BBQ'd pork, but with so much great flavor from the Asian inspired sauce. I travel almost 52 weeks a year and some airport restaurants you just have to avoid. This is not one of those places. Love music, great food and excellent service. Tammy was my waitress and she was extremely attentive to everything. Here it is during the height of spring break travel and this place is on point. Everyone is friendly, the love music is great. It definitely makes for a great place to wait. Enjoy feed and a drink while your delayed flight arrives. I would highly recommend anyone coming through the Nashville airport come here for a bite before they head out. Very conveniently located just past TSA. I had the hangover and Bloody Mary before the flight to Houston. Great service and a good place to people watch if you're into that. I sat at the bar but there's also plenty of tables available as well. Friendly Nashville staff and eclectic crowd. read more

I highly recommend Acme BNA when traveling through Nashville. Madison was our server and gave outstanding service. She has been my server the last 3 times I've traveled and is excellent. She will great you with a smile and her food reccomendations have been great. The best service ever. The food is flavorful and the ambiance of the music ties it all together.
