Worst customer service ever. Took four attempts to get a quote and still never got one.

Lot's of mistakes on our orders. Wrong items delivered. Charged for things we didn't receive. Bad customer service. Nothing but constant mistakes and lack of care for fixing them. Prices change without warning. They really are just a mediocre company. Very unimpressed with them. How can a company this big make so many mistakes and show no care or concern when you aske them to correct them. We had to start a special file just to track all the mistakes they need to fix because it takes them so long to fix accounting errors. read more

Horrible service. Opened an account, placed first $700 order and came perfectly. One month later went to purchase another $1000 order and was told they cannot sell to me anymore. I asked why and they "beat around the bush" on answering. Stated that I purchased from a local company near me and they cant honor the cheaper prices or do business with us again. I asked if we can open an account with a different company, address, and seller permit and they stated due to circumstances (which I still don't know) the answer is no. I have no idea how my info is being passed around through these companies but BEWARE they obviously sell/distribute your info to other local vendors in your area and find any excuse not to sell on their given rates. The part that upset us the most is that during this time obviously everyone is searching for new suppliers as stock is rare and companies are backordered they pull this on us. Why open an account, go through the credit department, and have an order delivered... then realize that you cannot sell to me until I go to place my second order a month later. Yes their prices are cheaper than U-Line, but for the way I was treated I would much rather deal with U-Line and pay more for better quality boxes with a more friendly service. read more

Horrible company to do business with for the following reason: I placed an order for 80 boxes with Ramiro. Arrived at the warehouse to pick up my order. Waited 50 minutes upon which the warehouse staff informed me they were out of stock. No alternative was proposed and no explanation of when the boxes could be available. I was told they can sell out of product in 20-30min and it happens. Don't waste your time attempting to purchase from this company when they're not going to be able to fulfill something you paid for. read more

Over priced. Nickel and dime you on everything. Don't give them your credit card on file, they will continue charging you without authorization!!! Had to dispute the transactions, nobody apologized for the the mistakes. read more

This is just like any other warehouse but only produces papers , plastics , supplies & so on . They offer same day & next day delivery . The dispatcher was really efficient & helpful . If you need wholesale supplies , I recommend this place . read more

Instead of purchasing cardboard boxes from Walmart or Kmart (which I don't set foot in by the way) or getting boxes from your local storage facility or Uhaul etc etc... I wanted to go to the source... the big middlemen... not the retail end and the closest I got was Acorn Paper products... Everything was fine until I described to the salesman what sizes of boxes I wanted. I must have given him all the wrong dimensions, not understanding how it worked at all because I ended up with a car stuffed full of box sizes that were wrong for the application. Book boxes were what I was looking for amongst the common box sizes. Check and KNOW your sizes before placing an order with them. They offer same day service. Just drive there... and get your boxes. They will load them into the car for you. Cheap too. read more

Absolutely the worst! Stay away! All the good reviews are written by employees and family friends. Will have better luck ordering from China then from them! Will scam you for money, and upcharge you extra after the order is paced, and after the price is agreed. Also they don't print anything in USA so you will get the Chinese quality in USA prices! I've been using Acorn for several months now after reluctantly switching from a long term vendor. I switched for price, which isn't always the deal breaker for me. BUT, I have gotten great customer service from my very responsive salesman, Joey, and have several contacts at Acorn if he isn't available. Also ordered an urgent custom-sized box and it was perfect and came very quickly. This is the type of vendor that makes my job MUCH easier!! Beware of these people. They send you an email with their terms and then they change when you are ready to order and you need them. The good old Bait & Switch deal....!!! Their San Diego salesman talks, talks, talks and talks even more and you are getting lost on the information. He tells you what you want to hear and then when you are ready to order he tells you that he is just a salesman and he cannot do anything for you.....!!!! We went with Acorn because of the good reviews here. Everything seemed like it was going to go great but then we actually started working with them. Maybe it was just our representative but we received very poor service throughout the process. 1) After showing a very detailed and almost ready to go box design we had to wait to wait a couple months for Acorns box specialists to design it again in CAD. 2)We were not really shown any of our available options, the guys at the factory were we did the final inspection actually showed more knowledge about boxes than our rep. 3) Horrible communication. On the day of our press check they didn't coordinate with the factory and the factory was not expecting us. We waited 3 hours to look the box. Per the VP of Acorn: " THERE IS HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION IN OUR INDUSTRY" That was his excuse and then he took off. 4) When it came down to actually receiving the boxes they were delivered by a guy who had back trouble. He requested our office staff help him unload. This wouldn't have been an issue if he came when Acorn told us he would. He arrived 3 days early at a random time. Overall if you want professional service I would look elsewhere or go with one of the reps that are more experienced. read more
