    Karpathos chicken
    Michael R.

I wasn't feeling well and I wanted something good to eat that would help me feel better. I decided to Uber Eats from Acropolis. Delivery time was a bit on the long side but it was worth the wait. I ordered it early enough that it still arrived at dinner time. The karpathos chicken was just what the doctor ordered. Perfectly seasoned grilled chicken breast on a bed of greens, red onion, cucumber, sundried tomatoes and feta. The dressing was luscious and a perfect accompaniment to the seasoned chicken. It also had grilled pita strips and two dolmades which were a great added treat. Loved this and started feeling better after nutritious tasty food

We came for happy hour/dinner after work and it was lovely. We shared multiple apps, all delicious, then had the chicken, pasticio, and a gyro which were also all delicious, and shared the honey cake to finish with a fabulous treat. The staff was patient and kind, service excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Bonus that 2 hours of parking was validated in their garage.

I'm always on the hunt for a Greek restaurant whenever I'm visiting a different city. This spot was only about a 10-minute walk from our hotel, so it felt like an easy choice for a Friday night. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy at all, so we made our way straight to the bar. We were definitely noticed when we walked in, but it took quite a while for the bartender to actually come over. She was talking with a coworker behind the bar with their backs turned to us. It wasn't just a minute or two -- it was long enough to make you question whether you should just leave and find somewhere else. We had just gotten into town after a two-hour drive (with the last hour being awful rain), so we were really just looking forward to finally sitting down and getting a drink. Once she came over, we ordered beverages and started with the Greek lemon chicken soup and the dip platter. The soup was solid -- I'd say 7/10. The dip platter was definitely the highlight at 9/10. It came with four different dips and pita bread, and everything was flavorful and fresh. After filling up on pita, we decided to share a shrimp dish (which was an appetizer). The shrimp itself was pretty average -- maybe 4/10 -- nothing particularly memorable. Oddly enough, the bread that came with it was the best part -- 10/10. Overall, the biggest issue was the service. It was extremely slow, and we could see our food sitting at the counter for a while before it was brought over to us. It felt a bit disorganized, especially considering the restaurant wasn't busy. Unfortunately, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to during one of my several yearly visits to Orlando. Not terrible, but not memorable enough to return.

    Gyro

The gyro itself? Packed. Like... they did not play when it came to the portion of meat, and I can appreciate that. The flavor was good, juicy, and definitely hit the spot hunger-wise. But here's where I got a little side-eye ... $16 for just the gyro--no fries, no drink, not even a little "thank you for your coins" moment. For that price, I expected a bit more of a complete experience. I ordered through Uber Eats, and unfortunately it arrived cold, which took away from the overall vibe. And you know... a cold gyro just doesn't hit the same--it deserves to be warm, cozy, and comforting. That said, I'm not writing them off just yet. I'd actually love to try this spot in person because I feel like the experience might be completely different fresh off the grill. Final thoughts: Good flavor, generous meat, but the value and delivery experience left me wanting more. I'll give it another shot in person before making my final verdict.

Acropolis is always a solid choice for a great night out. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between lively and relaxed. The sangria is a must. It's fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Every sip is crisp and refreshing, making it the perfect companion to the meal. I've tried everything from their wraps to their gyros and my favorite.....the Siros salmon was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly cooked, tender and flaky, with rich flavor in every bite. The seasoning and sauce complemented the salmon and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste. Between the standout dishes and excellent service, Acropolis continues to be a go to spot!

Great spot for some yummy Greek food. I liked everything on their menu. This was one of the only few places that was open for Christmas dining. No special Xmas food menu but had mostly everything available from their usual menu Asked about their whole snapper fish dish and was told they don't have it anymore but I saw one come out of the kitchen. Asked the server and he said he was told they didn't have it anymore, oops, there was some miscommunication there Got the 6 pieces of lamb lollipops instead and that was a good amount to share and enjoy with everyone. Drinks were good and saganaki is always fun, it came with a lot of pita. The fried fish was very tasty. The lemon avgolemono soup and cheesecake baklava was just okay. But would like to come back to try other items on their menu. I liked the dining area setup. It was spacious and divided. Would have liked to seen some belly dancing but I guess they don't work on holidays

This was my first time here. I stopped in for lunch expecting to get a mediocre gyro. I was pleasantly surprised and will say it was the best I have had since leaving Chicago 8 years ago! I also ordered the dolmades and they were great! Reminded me an old friend's mother (from Greece) who made authentic dolmades all the time.. I look forward to coming back for dinner in the near future!

This restaurant is so cute and fancy while having a menu that caters to every pocket. Acropolis looks great for a date night with your honey. I came here with a group of coworkers, and we had a great time. The decor is very simple but clean and inviting. Dante, our server was helpful, friendly and serviceable. The food was splendid and so full of flavor. Can't wait to bring my hubby.

Delicious new spot! And in a great location too. It wasn't too busy when I went so I really enjoyed my time. A great place to grab dinner after work. Can be a bit hard to find though from the parking garage.

I really liked my dip sampler platter. All the dips were flavorful and the pita was warm and plentiful. We went during bite30 and it was so much food we had to take our dessert to go. The baklava cheesecake was really good as well. Maybe a 4/5 but still really good. My father has a ton of food allergies and they even cooked him plain chicken because he can't eat garlic, so like Greek is really a hard place for him to find food. The only reason I scored a 4/5 is because their website and the booking page for reservations showed that on Friday nights there was like plate breaking, which we learned doesn't happen in the summer. There was a dancer who was not bad. I felt bad for her because honestly the restaurant wasn't busy enough for her to make any tips. I imagine this location is busier at other times of the year. But it felt really slow which is a shame because it's nice.

    Greek 75 Cocktail

Only stopped in here for drinks so this review can't speak to any food items. Since just having drinks we did sit at the bar and were greeted quickly with menus and cocktail menu. I opted for the Greek 75 which was very refreshing and had a great balance between the gin and prosecco. The restaurant is well decorated with tables in different areas to allow for a quiet dining experience. I could see different groups in different areas around the location which I could see it working for a nice date night. I'd like to see if they offered a happy hour since the prices were $15 per drink, but the food I did see around did make we want to come back and try some of their options.

Just stopped in for a drink and did not try out any of the food. Well decorated and service was very friendly. I believe there were only 3 tables eating on a Thursday night. Can't speak for the food but I felt having 2 drinks and the bill at $38 with tip was a little higher than normal even for downtown. I did see they have some lunch "specials" so maybe that might be a highlight for them.

Came here with a large party for a birthday dinner. They're a Greek chain restaurant. It's not "grandmas kitchen" menu of food, but they had a good variety of Greek favorites. Like an "Olive Garden", but for Greek food. I got the Baba ghanoush appetizer with pita and vegetables to start. It was Smokey and delicious! One of my favorite appetizers at any restaurant! For the main dish, I got the fish and shrimp wrap and fries. The wrap was delicious and filling with a good amount of vegetables packed in. The fries were surprisingly delicious! They were huge and thick cut with a flavorful seasoning. Someone else in our group got the whole Red Snapper, which was delicious! The service was pretty good. The waiter handled the large party decently.

The toonah sensation wrap is a vegan take on a tuna wrap. I loved how fresh it tasted. The chickpea toonah literally had me second guessing if I was eating fish. First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

We ordered Italian Sandwich Combo which is Genoa salami, ham, provolone, olive tapenade, lettuce, tomato and onion, cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup ($5.99), Appetizer Platter ($10.99) which is hummus, black bean/corn salsa, olive tapenade and roasted red salsa, Mike's Meatloaf Sandwich(minus bread) combo ($16.98) with side of Cole slaw and potato salad, The Monte Christo combo ($16.48)with side of black bean/corn salsa and a Rodger Dodger sandwich combo ($14.98) which is roast beef, corned beef, melted Swiss on rye bread. They have a vast selection of bottled beverages both non alcohol and alcohol, fountain sodas and brewed tea and sweet tea. There are just a few tables inside and quite a few tables on the patio covered with by porch or umbrellas. Service is friendly where you order at the counter inside and they bring your order to you at your table. We really enjoyed most everything about the restaurant. Seldom do I enjoy dining outdoors as this is Florida, it's hot and there are flies, but this was still a nice experience and I look forward to returning.
