We visited the 903 Mills Market for the first time for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. We have driven past this restaurant outside of Neal periods (for us) for years and always think we want to try this. Yesterday was our day. We ordered Italian Sandwich Combo which is Genoa salami, ham, provolone, olive tapenade, lettuce, tomato and onion, cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup ($5.99), Appetizer Platter ($10.99) which is hummus, black bean/corn salsa, olive tapenade and roasted red salsa, Mike's Meatloaf Sandwich(minus bread) combo ($16.98) with side of Cole slaw and potato salad, The Monte Christo combo ($16.48)with side of black bean/corn salsa and a Rodger Dodger sandwich combo ($14.98) which is roast beef, corned beef, melted Swiss on rye bread. They have a vast selection of bottled beverages both non alcohol and alcohol, fountain sodas and brewed tea and sweet tea. There are just a few tables inside and quite a few tables on the patio covered with by porch or umbrellas. Service is friendly where you order at the counter inside and they bring your order to you at your table. We really enjoyed most everything about the restaurant. Seldom do I enjoy dining outdoors as this is Florida, it's hot and there are flies, but this was still a nice experience and I look forward to returning. read more

Cute little neighborhood spot! I love these little local gems. There's tons of patio seating, perfect for dogs and people watching. And service is super friendly and prompt. Great little spot to grab lunch or breakfast! They have a nice little outdoor patio and 4-5 tables inside. They have beer and wine to go as well so you can grab some good and some booze to go! They are known for their great breakfast, recently we went for lunch. I got the pick two and got the soup with the Thanksgiving dinner sandwich (I forget the name), both were great! This place has a simple and quaint feel and serves delicious food! There's mostly outdoor seating with some covers from the hot Florida sun, and we really enjoyed sitting there for our meal. It's very much a sandwich & salad type place, with a little bit of mediterranean influences. I got the falafel wrap and it was so good- the meat with seasoned and yummy mixed with the tzatziki sauce. Great stuff all around. Happened to be in the area and have had this place on my "To Try" in Orlando list for a while, so glad to finally make it out for lunch! Tis the season and all so I had to go with the nod to the thanksgiving dinner sandwich, the Grateful bread. First off, the bread is AMAZING. Perfectly soft but with a nice crust that holds all the goodies between slices in place. The red onions with cranberry whatever mayo stuff going on was a perfect complement to the turkey and stuffing. I couldn't eat the whole thing so I took half home, toasted the bread and ate the rest the next day... almost better than fresh! I decided to get the fruit salad which was a unique mix of tropical fruits (papaya, mango, stuff like that) but I tried mom's potato salad and would get that next time or a small side garden salad. Someone had that at a nearby table and it looked really nice. All in all, highly recommended! The cake/pie slices looked insanely good, so maybe I'll save some room for that next time too. read more

BEST CASUAL SPOT IN ORLANDOOOOOO! Me and my coworkers started coming here a few months ago and I cannot stay away. They have local beers, a HUGE and diverse menu, and service is amazing. They always have different soups as well, which i love. Side salad is like $2 (SCORE!) and there's a park super close by where you can see the city skyline! I also adore the outside seating area and games they have available to play. This is a MUST if you're visiting or live around Orlando. This is a really lovely local spot with some great food. I had driven by this place so many times but we finally stopped in and checked it out. There are several veggie options, which I definitely appreciated as it even made it difficult to decide what we wanted! That's a problem I think most vegetarians/vegans don't often come across. I went with the veggie burger wrap. I have to say that I didn't have high expectations as garden burgers are hit or miss for me but something told me I should give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did!! It was delicious! The patty was well seasoned, all the toppings you would normally get on a burger mixed together in a soft tortilla was a combination I never could have imagined would be so good. I can't wait to go back and have another. I also need to shout out the exemplary service we received. I have not come here in a long long time so when the opportunity came, I was excited. The most annoying part of coming here is the parking situation. If there is not parking in the back, there is usually a decent amount of parking around lake Davis if you don't mind a little walk. This is a fast casual establishment where you order at the front/kiosk and they bring you the food. We sat outside, as it was a beautiful day outside and a lot of the seating is there anyway. Pet friendly as long as they stay outside. We ordered the chicken Thai wrap and chicken Caesar wrap. Both were so good! The perfect lunch meal on such a beautiful Florida day. My daughter had a braces appointment nearby, so afterwards we were both starving and wanted to enjoy a nice brunch. It's such a super cute restaurant, with a great outdoor space to enjoy a nice Saturday afternoon. I had their BLT, which was perfect, on a nice thick homemade bread. Very limited inside seating and the flies are insane outside. They try to give tables these fly fans, but they don't do much. Parking is minimal too. I recommend taking it to go. Management should look into additional ways to mitigate the hundreds of flies that's my main complaint. read more

Loved my club sandwich I got from Mills Market the other day. I will say, I think the size of the sandwich has gotten smaller but none the less, still was great! They have a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, etc. You can eat inside or outside, they have plenty of seating! This is also a great place to come to grab some craft beers to go or a cheap bottle of wine. If you are around the area this makes a great lunch stop. Only thing, on the inside they dont seem to have hood fans so its a little smokey. If you are inside for too long you will come out smelling like youve been working in the kitchen. The place itself isnt in the best shape, definitely can use improvements as almost everything inside has a thick layer of dust on it. It's advertised as dog friendly, not friendly dogs. My daughter and her French Bulldog were attacked by two dogs sitting with six people who did nothing to intervene. The dog escaped unharmed but my daughter was bitten on her hand. Not one of the six people could be bothered to even stand up to inquire about her. The food was very good, the service not so much. Twenty minutes waiting for a Cuban and a salad! Unacceptable. I had the dog that was attacked on a short leash and opened the door to tell my daughter my order when an employee came up behind me and said, no dogs allowed inside! I said I saw the sign and she is not inside. Well, he said, in a huff, it looked like you were going in. Well, maybe wait until I go in before correcting me ? He seemed upset at that. I'm kind of torn here. The workers were SOOO sweet and the vibes are super cute with all the outside seating. The food looked really good and was extremely affordable but it was a bit bland. The jalapeño cheddar soup was lukewarm warm but otherwise pretty good. The breakfast pizza was a very unique concept! I think it needed more cream cheese because I couldn't taste it. The big boy burrito was okay. It was bland, but would have been much better if it was served with a sauce. Both entrees needed a hot sauce or some sauce in general. The strawberry banana blueberry smoothie with apple juice was delicious! They were crazy busy so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and will be coming back for lunch soon. Today I ordered their signature 903 Market Salad, Lake Eola Spinach Salad, Mediterranean Salad with Eggplant, and Italian Rainbow Cake. Their 903 Market Salad is one of my favorites with fresh mango, papaya, and pineapple. And their Mediterranean is delicious as well! Of course I highly recommend their Rainbow Cake as well! Unassuming little neighborhood deli right on the corner of Gore and Mills. We stopped by for the first time ever for dinner and my hubby had a wrap, and I had a salad. Both were good, service was nice. I am Vegetarian and Gluten-Sensitive so the options were limited for me, just an FYI for anyone who may have the same, you won't find much. Since I was in the mood for a salad and that is why I suggested this spot, it worked out well. My salad included spring mix, candied walnuts, and blue cheese with some cherry tomatoes on the side, the dressing was yummy and the salad hit the spot. If I had been super hungry, maybe not, but it was good for my level of hunger at that time. We will most likely come back on our bikes for some light fare. Had a wonderful bike ride with my kids Sunday morning and was super excited about having a nice breakfast at the outdoor seating at Mills Market. For a beautiful Sunday morning, I found it odd that there was so much open seating outside. The second I walked in, I found out why. As I entered the inside, I made eye contact with one of the employees who looked annoyed that he had customers. One word summary = grumpy. Although we weren't offered any service or help, I did notice a nice selection of wine, beer and deserts. The selection got me up from 1 star to 2 stars. My eyes finally found the menus on the counter near the door. So I walked over to it and helped myself to a menu which finally caused the employee to talk to me. He basically told me that's the wrong menu and identified the correct one . Since I was fending for myself in there, I guess I had a 50/50 shot at grabbing the right one. Haha. But around the same time, in the area of the menus that I found, the worker shooed me away from that spot. But still no offer of service, just a request to not stand in a specific place. Not much space in the indoor area, so I moved slightly as I tried to figure out what my party of 4 (3 kids and me) wanted to eat. As I corralled the kids and collected their order, he again shooed me and the kids from the area. This time, I followed his request to shoo and just went to Peach Valley. Super disappointed because this place is so close to me, but I just cannot justify giving my money to a business that offered me no smiles, shoo shoos, and practically no service except to tell me I have the wrong menu. read more

I wish I would've read what everyone got before coming in. It seems like this spot is famous for the beer / wine selection and more lunch and dinner items. They offer styrofoam cups for hot beverages (no mugs available) which made it feel more like a gas station than a restaurant. Everything but the food was 'make it yourself'. I got a small coffee and had to pour it myself from a canteen (similar to 7/11) then go over and use single serve coffee creamer. My boyfriend ordered hot chocolate and would've had to use a Swiss miss packet with hot water. About 80% of our meal was cooked in a microwave which I was super disappointed in as our total was around $30 for 2 people. Items like French toast, pancake batter, eggs and breakfast meat can definitely be prepped earlier so they cooked in just a few minutes to have fresh for customers. In the end the menu was not representative of what we got which was pre-made, microwaved food. My picture is what "thick slices of battered cinnamon bread" are supposed to be. We also got the 903 Breakfast Bowl and the veggies weren't sautéed and it was a small serving. It was served in what looked to be a French onion soup bowl. I wouldn't recommend for a sit down breakfast. The staff were nice and the desserts seem like they would've been yummy. read more
