They try and upsell you on many add ons that you don't need for your car (fuel injections, tires that have just been replaced, etc) regardless of the car's age/value, and they frequently do an upsell of about 180 dollars to go deeper than the "free inspection". This add on inspection is very thorough though, and they take videos of different parts of your car, with detailed descriptions of each that you can access for 30 days. Just for full transparency on my car's problem, I had a check engine light go on after a 15 hour drive, and after 1,200 dollars of work, the issue still persisted. They ended up giving me back my car, and quoted me another 5 grand for a very labor intensive part (head gasket), and were very pushy both times with getting me to sign and order the parts right away. I ended up getting a new car since the repairs were worth more than the vehicle, and they didn't offer towing services to the new location. They also took the windshield wipers off of my car before I picked it up to trade in, so I had no wipers?? Overall I think the car was more the issue than Jim Taylor, but I wish I knew all of this info before I came here!

Went there for an oil change and to check out if I have any issues with my car, since I have an engine check light. The professionalism wasn't there, wanted to give me some average oil even though my car requires best oil, which I personally had to tell them. Then told me nothing about the engine. Speed: Took 1.5/2 hours to get the oil that I wanted and change it. Value: Terrible, paid $220 for an oil change, where I can go and spend $250 at the professional shop, with all the original parts. Overall: Very disappointing, do not recommend.

Last year, they recommended several expensive repairs, including a new battery, brake pads, and rotors. I went to another shop for a second opinion and was told none of that work was necessary. When I returned to Jessie's to discuss it, the manager admitted they could do the work but that it "did not need to be done" and he "wouldn't be able to sleep at night" if they did it. A year later, I returned to Jessie's only to use the oil change I had already prepaid. This time, they told me I suddenly needed brake pads and rotors on all four wheels, plus a 4‑wheel alignment -- yet said nothing about the battery they insisted needed replacing last year. I went straight to another garage again, and once again was told none of that work was needed. To make matters worse, after Jessie's completed the oil change, my car began leaking oil. They hadn't installed the drain plug correctly. Now I have to pay for another oil change to fix their mistake. Two visits, two sets of unnecessary repair recommendations, and now a careless error that caused an oil leak. That's not bad luck -- that's a pattern. I will not be returning.
