Not sure why it says SanFrancisco.........I live in Vista.....Making a decision to remove all carpet and go with the wood look with porcelain tile is a big decision. We ended up going with almost 1200 square feet of the tile. Anthony came to to the house and measured after we decided on the specific tile. He is very nice and will give you tips on what to do to be prepared when the installers arrive. We are very happy to say our installers were Angel and Roberto. I totally trusted there recommendations and they also both get 5 stars! At this point I would also say to remove your base boards prior to there arrival. There could be a difference on how high the tile will be compared to what the carpet use to be. We were very happy we removed the baseboards and nails prior to installation. After the fact we will install a taller and nicer baseboard. The installation was.........let's just say fantastic. Kany also stopped by. FYI....he is the owner. I have total respect for Kany as he is old school and he will do whatever it takes to make sure the customer is happy. At the end of the day.........having your house turned upside down for a week is something we are not use to. If you want a hassle free fantastic job I suggest you visit Action Carpet and tile in Oceanside. I will even go the extra mile and say if you want to see a fantastic job at my house, talk to Kany and he will give me a call and you can stop by when we are home. We spent several months trying to find a contractor to install flooring in our home with no luck. Several folks provided estimates that were too high or they never provided a quote. A neighbor recommended Action Carpet & Floor Décor, he had just installed laminate flooring in his home. I went to the store on a Sunday afternoon, and perused the flooring options carpet, wood, laminate, and tile. Was able to find carpet for my upstairs rooms and stairs, and within an hour of being in the store, Dave provided me a rough estimate. Within 10 days of my first visit to the store my carpet was installed. A few weeks later, I ordered hand scraped laminate and porcelain tile for the remainder of my home. I was extremely impressed by the follow-up each team at Action Carpet provided, all commitments regarding price estimates, material delivery times, and installation timelines were met. So little waste on a a large carpet replacement for our home. Kany did a superb job putting the actual plan together with minimal seaming after Anthony did the precise measuring. Had to save us at least 10% or more on the total cost. Kany said all his installers had been with him 10+ years and the three man team that did ours were excellent and met every request we made. We are extremely delighted with the product and service provided by Owner Kanny, his store staff and installation professionals. For the longest time, we were on the fence about whether or not to redo the floors in our 20 year old house. We visited many establishments and talked with many sales people and designers. The best decision we made this year was to visit the showrooms of Action Carpet, in Oceanside, CA. Charlie, a great sales associate waited on us and within a few minutes we had chosen the carpet we had installed. Charlie was very well informed and very friendly and helpful. The installation date was only oneweek from purchase. We were called two days before installation to inform us of the date and time. Exactly on the designated day and exact time, three installers, Nacho, Leo, and Frank arrived. They immediately set about moving our furniture quickly and efficiently. Unlike the five other carpet centers we had visited, ACTION CARPET DID NOT CHARGE US FOR MOVING THE FURNITURE!!!!!!!
