From start to finish my experience with Action Carpet& Floor Decor was excellent. I had been shopping at Big Box retailers for new carpet that came as close as possible to the color of my current worn out carpet since I loved the color and type of carpet I had. However, my particular color range was currently not in fashion and very difficult to find. Shawn at Action Carpet was very helpful in finding me some options to consider and best of all the pricing was clear and straight forward. This was so different from my experience at the large retail stores like Lowe's and Home Depot where I could not get focused, qualified help from an associate in the carpet area and the prices were not clear and the choices confusing. I had made several trips to these stores previously without being able to enlist qualified help and finding any options for carpet choices that met my need. I was also pleased about the price I ended up paying which seemed much more reasonable than other estimates I'd received. The staff at Action Carpet was great at communicating every step of the way and called to remind us of the approaching install date. We contacted Action Carpet as a reault of the work they did for my in-laws. Charlie, our sales rep, has been great thus far. He presented as a knowledgeable professional with an interest for our business by providing quality product at a reasonable price. When Charlie had a follow-up call about the original quoted price, we braced for a higher price over some "miscalculation". To our pleasant surprise, he called back to amend the price, but to lower it (due to a price drop by supplier)...who does that AFTER getting an OK from the customer for the original (higher) price? Action Carpet will be replacing about 1k Sq ft of wood laminate with tile. Our fireplace will get a makeover as well. Charlie also extended a good deal for some beautiful baseboards. Kenny, the installer, called to confirm installation date within less than 48hrs. Very reasonable, considering we had a Sunday between closing the deal and Kenny ' s call. I plan on updating this review to include how the installation part of the experience with Action Carpet transpired. Wife happy; therefore, all happy at this juncture. Charlie ' s service has set the trust level high with this outfit. Stay tuned... Well, here we are about one month later... Action delivered! The installation team headed by Kenny did an awesome job. They arrived early and worked like ants! From demolition, removal of old flooring, and moving furniture to tile laying and grouting; the work was meticulous and the result is impressive. It took them 5 days to complete the 1k + Sq ft job. The fireplace looks awesome and the new floor has definitely enhanced the pleasure of coming home. I wholeheartedly recommend them. One of the first stores visited when starting to look for porcelain tile. Many trips and samples brought home, very accommodating staff. Seems like more people are choosing the luxury vinyl and although it may work for some we are set on porcelain even though it cost a lot more (due to installation cost and materials needed). Unfortunately the one tile I did find elsewhere they didn't carry or have a distributor so if they were to get it (they were more than willing to accommodate) the shipping cost would be almost the same as the cost of the tile. I do love the fact they have their own installers on site and don't outsource to 3rd parties. Unfortunately they will not install any product purchased outside of their store. read more

I had an awesome experience with Action Carpet. I replaced 1100sf of seriously old carpeting with new mid-price range carpeting and memory foam padding. I am extremely pleased with the final result. Anthony was the first point of contact and explained all the options. I left with 5 samples and a measurement appt. Anthony was on time and was very efficient. Once I had the SF I was able to make a decision of quality level based on my budget. I felt no pressure to select one product over another. In fact I came back to the store for more samples because I just wasn't feeling my first color choices. A second gentleman helped me that time and again no sales pressure. I finally made a product decision and scheduled the installation for a specific day (to coincide with other renovations being done). As my luck would have it, the days weather forecast was very heavy rain. I tried to reschedule but they were booked out for two weeks. I was severely disappointed as the carpet was the end of this month long reno project and I just wanted it done. Kenny, the installation manager, was super helpful in working around the rainy weather so the installation could proceed as planned. He was sympathetic to my situation and found an unusual but workable solution. Installation day was very smooth. The final job is beautiful. Prior to the carpet installation I had new baseboards installed throughout the house. There was not one nick from the carpet install on the baseboards. It was a stellar job. Dave went out on the day of the call and took measurements. Although it took him a couple of days to get back to me with a quote, it was very reasonable. I was so lucky to find Action Carpet. I needed an estimate right away. We worked with Anthony. He was awesome, knowledgeable , friendly and accompanied us tremendously. They were out next day for measure and estimate. I got quote price which was very reasonable. However, we are selling our home and we were not sure if we were going to spend money or offer a credit. 2 days later I decided to call see if it could be done in 3 days, I know impossible RIGHT , well they made it happen. The 2 man crew was 10 minutes early, and just went to work. Something that was to possibly take 1 1/2 days was done same day. The team was very polite, organized, hard working and clean. Action carpet provided the best value (over Lowe's and Depot) and did a great job on the install. Two years ago I upgraded my master bedroom, and again Action Carpet did a great job. Last year I put carpet in my laundry room and even though it was a small job, they installed it quickly and at a great price. Now in Oct 2014 as part of a major renovation in my home, I needed new carpet for the rest of my house so I shopped around, and again Action Carpet had the best deal. We had the best experience with this company, namely Anthony and especially Nacho. They were true professionals! Anthony came first to measure our carpeted area and provide us a quote. He was very knowledgeable and polite, bringing us a whole color palette of samples for the carpet brand and model we were interested in. After emailing a quote, the company followed up with us shortly after, lowering it even further because the brand we chose had a temporary sale and they wanted us to be able to take advantage. Nacho then came by himself to complete the whole installation. From tearing out the old carpet, moving our furniture around, and installing the new one, he did it all! Not only did he do it quickly (a day for 3 bedrooms and stairs without help), but he also did it carefully. You can't see the seams and the carpet butts up to the borders much cleaner than before. These guys are hard workers who really value their customers and take pride in their craftsmanship. (P.S. In case anyone is curious, we also love the carpet itself which is Tuftex West Elm I. Anthony was quick to call me after I sent a message via Yelp. He answered all my questions, made an appointment for the following business day, brought samples as promised and gave us lots of great information. We had Action install carpet, padding, and baseboard in all our bedrooms as well as some smaller spaces. They were on time, professional, and courteous. There was one issue with the baseboard in that it got dinged from machinery. We called Anthony and he sent out some guys ASAP to fix the problem. I was always able to reach him or leave a message and receive a response within a day. For a worrier and over planner (me) that was crucial. Dave and Kenny were very gracious and generous about working with us in what turned out to be a rather complicated carpet installation (we discovered mold under some of the old carpet, and had to halt installation until we had it mitigated. 6 months later we were able to finish the job).
