I went here to get new tires, alignment, and filters replaced. It took about 3.5 hours, but they were very thorough with their work! I also ended up getting a new battery and wiper blades too. I came in for a simple oil change, and they immediately tried to upsell me on everything. They scanned my entire car and started pushing new tires, even though I know mine are perfectly fine. Then they told me my battery was dead and needed to be replaced, which makes no sense because I had it checked very recently. Honestly, I don't know if they did something to my car while it was there, but this is exactly why you should take photos before leaving your vehicle with them. Stay away from this place in Lake Nona. It's a complete rip-off and a waste of time. Was in the lake Nona area and for a few weeks I have noticed my tire slowly loosing pressure so I decided to go in to get it checked out because they do offer tire check for free. There was a small wait as there was a few people ahead of me. Once they finished checking the tire they came out and told me that it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. I told them I would make an appointment for another day and they proceeded to put the tires back on and hand me my keys. As I walk outside to my car the tire is COMPLETELY FLAT. They did not tell me they would give me my car back with a flat tire. I proceeded to put air and drove away as I'm exiting the parking lot I instantly start feeling it flat again so I turn back and pull into the parking lot again to check the tire and sure enough it was flat again and I could hear the hissing sound of the air coming out of it. They did not have the decency to let me know that my tire now would not be drivable. I went to let them know and their response was "oh yeah after checking it the hole must of gotten bigger making the tire flat" That should've bee told to me before letting me drive off. They changed it putting my spare tire but because of that's lack of professionalism and decency I will not be replacing tires with them. My tire was fine before they checked my car and now my tire is completely flat and unable to drive with it . Very unprofessional. I do NOT recommend going to that location. read more

STAY AWAY! They price gouge, they lie, and don't stick to the quote they provide. After getting my car in the shop my initial quote when up $700 for total of $1900 just to replace the brakes pads. Of course I got all the excuses that it because of part costs, labor, etc... after explaining this isn't anywhere close to the original price quote they continue to drop the price little by little and find "discounts." Told them to drop my car and I will not have them service my car because another service shop committed to for $720 (parts, labor, taxes all included). They said my oil change was already completed but they will stop all other services as requested and my car was ready, yet when I'm pulled up to the shop my car was in the lift getting the oil changed. They have a well equipped waiting area with tables, coffee, free water, and even a kids area (don't see often in an auto shop). I am honest hard working person, and would never take advantage of someone. My 19 year old son had a nail in the tire. It only needed a plug, not a new tire, but they sold him a tire anyway. Just got home after a horrible experience at the Lake Nona Location. I had a 2pm appointment, arrived at least 10 min before my appointment. Needed to have 4 new tires put on, that we had already preordered through them. After the first 45 minutes my car was still sitting outside the building. They finally took it back and put it on the rack. I did tell them I would be waiting for the installation in the store. At about an hour and 20 min in, a women from the back came out and said it's gonna take a while we only have one tire machine. I told her I needed to leave by 4pm to get kids at school. Now by this time, no other customer is left in the building from before my arrival, except for new customers about an 1 1/2 into my wait. Still, they had a car up on the rack and began putting tires on that car while still....my car has no tires. Then, the front desk person brings out my keys to check me out. I ask at this point if it's going to be done at 4pm. Hey looks at me like I'm crazy and says "i'm checking you out aren't I?" I said, "yEAH, that's great but my car is still on the rack with no tires? so how does that work?" He is then confused like, what? I point and say, that's my van and it still doesn't have tires! I go to sit back down. Then some man from the garage and tells me 2 hours is a normal wait time to get the tires installed. (I told him I've never waiting more than 1 1/2 hours before and even last year at this location we has tires placed on 2 of our vehicles and didn't take anywhere near this time) He told me he was sorry I was mistaken about how long it takes, even with an appointment. At this point, by 4:16 the car finally gets the last tire placed. In the meantime, all the staff in the garage have who are so busy, have been stopping and chatting with one another, laughing and chatting and one guy on his phone.? Super busy. The front desk guy checks me out. I tell him at this point I'm frustrated, missed picking up my kids at school now. He says why would I think it would take only 2 hours. Still no one has been kind, but apparently it's all my misunderstanding as to how long it takes. I ask him to please ask and check that the spare is in my van. He walks and and come in and says yes it in there. I walk out, and no kidding my van has every door open and the hatch, my spare is leaning against the back of my vehicle. The guy from the garage is out there with two other techs. I'm like, why the heck did you guys say its in the vehicle and check me out if it isn't. He says "well you wanted us to put in in the vehicle and want to leave!" (apparently putting the spare away is not a service this location provides?, after dropping 1k at their business. I asked if they will put in in the actual location it's supposed to go. The garage guy walks away after I told him he was an "ass" and the other two guys proceed to throw my tire in the trunk and walk around shutting all the doors on my van shut in front of me and turned and walked away from me. I went to the front desk, in tears and this point and said that they wouldn't put the spare away and walked away. He walked out and talked to them and they wouldn't put it away. I left in tears. This place was horrible and I will never go back. We have 3 vehicles plus my mom's vehicle I have been bringing here but now I will find a new location for both oil changes and tires in the future. read more

I came in with a fairly simple issue, a nail in my tire. My tires are new so I asked them to plug the tire. The front desk guy said they couldn't plug it and tried to get me to buy a new tire. I told him that was not true and it could be plugged since the tired were new and the nail was in the middle of the tire. He dismissed me and said they couldn't plug it. I took it down the street to Firestone and they had no issue plugging it. They didn't give me a hard time like the Mavis guy who was clearly trying to get me to buy a new tire for no reason. I came in from out of state and let them know I was told from another repair facility that I needed my brake rotors "turned". I was getting a terrible shaking when under heavy braking. I asked if they turned rotors and the gentlemen at the desk said "YES of course", but lets check them out at no charge and will let you know. About 30 minutes later said rotors are fine... all you need are brake pads front and rear. I thought that was strange but said ok... they gave me a reasonable price and got me in and out in less than 1 hour. Great... I thought. They said the front rotor pads were coming apart. A few days later took the car on the toll road at high speed... and under braking the front end shook terrible. Called and the person who answered the phone told me that Mavis does not turn rotors... they replace them.... If I had known that I would have gone somewhere else. That is why they said I didnt need it... they couldnt do it. I am telling everyone I know ... DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION.... I will NOT be back.... read more

choose another company, i spoke with the tire shop 3 times and also spoke with multiple individuals to MAKE SURE when I arrive ,my tires will be there and I scheduled an appointment to get the tire serviced. I had to wait 30 mins before my appointment to find out that the tire wasn't even gonna be there and had to wait another day. The issue is that I called 6 companies and this was the only one that said they can have it done by the time I needed it. I had to call and find out the tire wasn't even ready, no customer service was done or giving me a call ahead not to show up because it wasn't there. (sorry glitch in the system) was the response. I took my car today for an oil change and tire rotation. I was immediately told that I needed new tires. I definitely do not need new tires yet. Then they tried to tell me that an oil change was over $100. When I asked why, the woman told me that the full synthetic "is better for your car" but could not tell me why. I did the blend and told her I had a coupon for $24.99. She told me she would honor the coupon at pickup. When I showed her the coupon when I picked up my car, she said "you signed the paper earlier for $45.99 and I cannot change it." Avoid this place please! In my family's experience, they use cheap parts and do not care about quality service. We had to go back to them 4 times for the same issue! We even talked to the manager and nothing changed the next time we went in. It has been so aggravating because they never apologized or fixed the issue. The ignition coils they replaced kept causing the engine to misfire and we eventually just gave up and found a different mechanic. I am in shock with how they've treated my family and how they are so incompetent and cheap. As a young woman who lacks car knowledge I wasn't aware the issue with this price or really what they had done. Our Tesla (which has a specialty tire with foam on the inside) had a nail in the middle of the tire perfectly legal to patch. Call them up before we went down told them the kind of car we had was informed that the tire had foam and would cost $69 to repair it. We agreed drove the car down there they told us it would be an hour and a half. An hour and a half later the VERY RUDE manager informed us that they don't fix those tires said he couldn't peel the foam back. After examining the tire it was very evident they never even broke the tire down. Drove down the street to fire stone and they fixed it for $30. We called ahead to ask if they could do an oil change today. The first time we called, they call dropped. When we called back very bad connection. We were able to book a time for supposedly a $49.99 oil change. After they were done the sat outside for 15 until I asked if they were done. When they came in to ring us up the total was now $92.00. We question that and he said there's a difference between synthetic and high and synthetic. We did not ask for the high end. He never explained that to us. Never once did he mention that there was two types of synthetic oil. We even tried to tell him at first the car has only 48,000 miles and we didn't want synthetic oil but he pretty much insisted that's all they used. Good thing we had a $10 off coupon because it went down to $82. After telling us that he lied to us and cheated us I gave him a few choice words and we left. What's really funny about the whole situation is we saw a lady and Publix afterwords who was at the same store to get her oil changed, and they screwed her too. I told her to check with them before we left but she didn't believe me and then got screwed at the end. Do not go there. I first went to Action Gator Tire to get an oil change and they recommended a whole list of new parts for my car including brake pads, spark plugs, and coils. So I followed their advice and had these new parts installed and the total price of everything was over 1k. About 2 months after these new parts were installed, I started my car one evening and the whole engine started to shake and my TCS light and check engine light came on. It was a very scary experience and I went back to Action Gator Tire and told them about the issue and spent over 7 hours waiting for them. They told me that faulty ignition coils/spark plus had been installed when they replaced them so they installed new ones. But they did not seem apologetic and I was disappointed with the customer service. Well, this same exact problem happened 2 more times! Each time I went back, I spent over 5 hours waiting for the service to be completed and they never apologized. The 3rd time this happened, I confronted them to their unprofessional service and told them to please install high quality parts. The service manager denied the responsibility and said they couldn't ensure that the parts would not be faulty. However, he knew that they were buying cheap parts and taking the risk of them defecting. They installed "upgraded parts" but the next day that I drove my car, I had the same exact problems with a shaking engine and lights coming on. I am tired of the unprofessional service from this company and I will not be returning. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
