This review is overdue! Unfortunately but fortunately the dude needed his window repaired due to someone attempting to break the passenger side window which they were unsuccessful as his windows are all tinted and held the shattered glass together. I called Action Glass in the morning and they had everything in stock and would come out to the Hilton in Concord where we stayed another unplanned night. They gave us an estimated time around 11am as the tech needed to cut the glass and transport to us. I gave them my dudes insurance information and they were even 30 minutes early! The tech and his helper were very kind and helpful. They worked swiftly, cleaned out the glass and installed the new window in about an hour max or even less. The dude was pleased and so was I as I was ready to come back to the Valley! If you ever need mobile or glass services I highly recommend this company! Car break-in's are an unfortunate regular occurrence living in Oakland, and I was one of the unlucky people to experience it. After filing a claim with my insurance, they set me up with Safelite, who was going to take A WEEK AND A HALF to get me in. I was so upset thinking about driving around with a baby in the seat below the broken window and worried the car would be broken into again. Luckily, my hubs remembered that the Volvo dealership had given us the name of Action Glass. I figured they'd also have to order the window from Volvo and expected to hear I was out of luck in getting things fixed sooner, but decided it was worth calling to find out. Well, Debbie managed to turn my bad day right around - she called the dealership, found the window, called my insurance to get things set up and scheduled me for an appointment the very next afternoon - and best of all, they were going to come to me! Much to my surprise and pleasure, the technician called me that same day asking if he could come by that evening or first thing the next morning as he lived in the area. My car was broken into in a parking garage in Oakland, the back left window was cracked from some sort of tool used to pry the glass open. There was a weird crunching noise every time I closed and opened the it, which was making me think the window was going to crack. Khoi came over and quickly realized that the window had been shattered before I ever owned the car, and the person who fixed it didn't clean up the glass hidden in the top of the rubber where the window closes. He vacuumed it out for me, cleaned all the glass up, and didn't charge a fee! Definitely the sign of a good business when they are not stiffing you for money! Really appreciate it. The tech was cool. Lady in the office is a total B. Waited until dude had my car apart before doubling the quoted price. Then when I called to ask why she threatened to have him leave with my car torn apart in pieces in my garage. Wtf? Seriously? Extortion? And it went from $300 to $600. They strong armed me. Took my car apart and then raised the price with threats of leaving a broken car. The tech was appalled but the owner could have cared leas.. Great company both customer service on the phone and technicians which came to our home. Worked thru my insurance company and after reviewing Yelp I picked Action Glass. First and all contacts via phone excellent with numerous staff members I worked with. Stanley was first tech that arrived to do a spot fix and he was courteous and on time. Crack in windshield although quarter size at first grew to show an sharp edge on glass so ho spot fix could be done. I ordered a new windshield. Main office called dealer with my Vin # to ensure all options would be included in replacement. Good thing they did as I had a heated windshield unknown to me. Kohi came to my home on time and replaced the entire front window in about 45 minutes with all the attachments. He was able to provide answers to my questions all with a smile. I'm surprised there are only few reviews here. I'm very impressed by this company! Windshield on my Lexus got a huge crack and I called Farmers to file a claim. They referred me to Action Glass and said they will accept my insurance so I only need to pay my deductible. I was sure it will take coupe days to deal with this issue but administrator said she can send technician right away. In 30 min technician arrived to my house and replaced broken windshield in about 40 minutes. He was very polite! Did his job very well and the glass looks exactly as the original one. 4 weeks ago while traveling home from visiting family a rock hit my windshield leaving a huge crack with no other recourse but to replace it. My Farmer's Ins. man recommended AG. Debbie was able to get me scheduled quickly to replace the glass while also being warm, professional, delivering amazing customer service. Don came out and explained everything, was professional and just all around helpful while replacing my windshield. It was like working with family. Fast forward to yesterday, while driving home from another trip, a gravel truck launched a large rock at my NEW beautiful windshield. I called AG again and Debbie was understanding and so helpful. We needed our windshield replaced. Don came out and was very gruff right away. I tried to chat and be friendly with him, but he wasn't having it. I was interested and was watching him work on my car. As he was going in and out of the car, I asked him to wear a mask while inside the car. He clearly didn't like this and got even more grouchy. It took him a really long time. Great job by the company in getting my windshield replace within a day. I went to my Farmers Agent two weeks earlier about a windshield replacement. They showed me two companies that could handle it, Safelite and Action Glass. They gave me the one for Safelite since they were the Farmers perferred route and easiest. I place the call to Safelite and was informed that it would take nearly two weeks to do the windshield because of getting the claim approval and parts. I was also informed by the Farmers claim agent that I was approved, but they didn't give a claim number. Two days before my appointment, Safelite called me. I had received emails stating that my appointment would be in two days. I wasn't able to get back with them until the next day. They told me that they hadn't received the claim approval and hadn't ordered any parts either. They were aware that they hadn't received a claim approval for 10 days, but waited until the end. When I asked what they were doing about it, they said that they sent an urgent email. I asked about my appointment next day if they didn't get the approval. I was informed that I didn't have an appointment because the claim approval wasn't received. I called my agent back at this point and asked about the other glass company. Again I was informed of the surprise that Safelite was suppose to be the preferred place, but she then gave me Action Glass number. I called and talked with Debbie, she got me on the phone with the Farmers claims agent, who asked me if I had called this in before. I said yes two weeks ago and Safelite didn't delivery. Debbie then went to bat for me and took it over for me. Once I gave all the pertinent information she told the agent to let me go, and she'd make sure to get the claim approval. She called back a few hours later and told me they could do it the next day and would have all the parts in the morning. They showed up a little bit early the next day and did a great job. read more

When the rear windshield of our brand new 2015 Toyota Sequoia got busted we called our insurance and they referred us to Action Glass. After calling several places for quotes, Action Glass came in as the most affordable and I got an appointment the next day. The installation of the new rear windshield took about 45 minutes, just as they said it would. We've had to go back a couple times since the install because we still find some broken glass stuck in the door, and they are really nice about cleaning it out for us.
