I called Dan's glass on Wednesday about a broken aluminum storefront door at Ashby Lumber in Concord. I sent pictures of the broken frame and ripped off hinge. They scheduled a repair for the following day. They came and removed the door, took it in to weld on a new piece, and reinstalled the door the same day. The patch was perfect! We were beyond impressed with how quickly (the same day!) Dan came out to measure and give us a quote. Someone from his office also called us back with the quote ($1000 less than the other quote we received) within 30 minutes of leaving the house. I just had to write a review about the service I received form Dan's Glass. Terri in the front office is such a nice person, it was a pleasure dealing with her. I had an idiot on the highway cut me off short and a rock flew up and cracked the windsheild on my new Infiniti. I had done buisness before with Dan's so I wanted no one else to touch the car. In 2015 my car was having some light body work done at Mike's Auto Body and a glass company from Antioch went out and replaced my front windsheild. I went to go pick it up and immediately noticed a big dent in the roof forward of the Moonroof. Also the window edges were so rough and not buffed like my OEM glass was. Also they messed up my liner it was a mess. Of course they denied it all, but thanks to the body shop and how nice I keep my car, they knew for a fact this crappy company did all the damage. They called Dan's glass they ordered me an OEM glass Dan's came out and repaired the headliners, which they didn't have to do and did a fantastic job. Today was not any different, Terri welcomed me asked how I was feeling since, I had been ill as I could not get the vehicle in the week before. I don't know the guy's name who installed the windsheild but it was done perfectly and I checked for anything wrong couldn't find one thing. I needed the glass of a dual pane window replaced as the interior pane had been broken. The owner (assuming it was Dan!) quickly measured it and then helped me by clearing out the broken pieces and putting tape around the edge for protection while I took it home for a few days until the replacement came in. Additionally they were the most reasonable when it came to cost compared to several competitors I called for quotes as well. Fantastic service at a great price! read more

Terrible service all around. They seem very busy so hard to get things completed. Lots of "We'll call you back" or "will email you right back" then days go by and nothing. Finally get credit card number and all is expected to be complete for order then they don't place the order. Talk to the owner Dan and wish I had that call recorded. Very poor service and has no faith in his team or his work so he says they won't be placing the order after gathering card info, confirming they had ordered and after many calls and emails. I had the most spectacular experience at Dan's glass. My rental car window had been smashed, I foolishly didnt pay the car rental insurance but to repair the window would be less than my deductible. What to do? I was leaving town the next day! The guys at Dan's called everywhere for a replacement window. Sent someone immediately to get it. Then just about a week later came right on time for the install. Both appointments were positive experiences. Both representatives were very professional and I am beyond pleased with the results. Very disappointed. We contacted this company to replace a glass door that had been broken during a burglary. Needless to say, we were frantic to get this repaired. Someone named Chris sent an estimator out right away (that was good!) Then a week passed with no action - each day I was promised that they were working on getting an estimate and would call that same day or the next. No calls. Instead it was me calling them - and waiting, and waiting. I wasted most of a week waiting and calling these people. Frustrated and even more frantic, I contacted a nearby competitor who a) sent out an estimator immediately, b) followed up the next day with a firm price quote and proposed installation date, c) called to confirm installation, etc... In short, they were everything that Dan's glass was not - i.e professional and caring. I do not recommend Dan's glass. read more

So there I was trekking down good ole Highway 4 one day when something flew off the truck in front of me and hit my windshield. Whatever that chunk of metal was spider shattered my windshield, and scared me half to death. I called me insurance company to report the claim and they asked if I had a vendor preference. I've heard many great things from other's through out the years about Dan's so that is who I chose. Dan's called me first thing the next morning. I had meetings throughout the day. They said no problem, had me leave the keys with my front desk, took my deductible payment over the phone, and told me they would be there soon to fix. By noon that day the Windshield was replaced, my mirror hung back correctly, the top window tint in place. The only negative comment I could make was my FasTrak was not reinstalled, which I found a bit disappointing, but not earth shattering by any means. All in all I have to say I was very satisfied and highly recommend there services should you need them. read more

Other glass shops did not want to change out my sliding rear window on my ranger they did at a fair price great job no leaks I came back to replace both side windows because they looked milky Dan himself had some powder and a wet rag and did a spot and the gave me some and I made the windows look brand new in 20 min.he could have sold new the 2 for $180 each + labor but he said it was not needed and didn't want to take my money for something not needed. Oh my goodness I cannot express how thrilled I am with this establishment. I popped in yesterday needing new glass for a large custom frame that had taken an unfortunate spill. They only needed around an hour to replace the mirror, but upon my return they had come to find the frame itself had been damaged so badly that if they put the new mirror in it would just come out again. So they kept it overnight to fill the broken sections of the wood frame, as well as glue in the mirror itself (the screw sockets were stripped and useless after the break) the next day I picked up my favorite mirror in BETTER condition than when I bought it! Great service! Saved my windshield from cracking further! I was let down by a big corporation that promised me to fix a little chip on my windshield for $160. Not only I waited for them to come for a week, they also didn't come on time of the appointment date. I cancelled the order, and started looking online for the solution. Called to see if they could help me align the window glass on my classic car. Like most other shops these days, they didn't want anything to do with a classic car window alignment. I am sure they would do a windshield or replacement, but an alignment is a different kind of thing. We had a Thursday 8 AM appointment to replace the front windshield on our Camry. I checked in on time and made sure they understood that I needed to have the work done by 10:45 so my wife could drive to work. Well, the job was completely and properly done by 8:20! The work entailed removing and re-installing the rearview mirror that has electric wires going to it. Hey, the techs even removed and correctly re-installed the Velcro strips for our FasTrak gizmo at the proper spacing! I assume that they pre-ordered the correct glass and had it ready to install. Cost was reasonable at $311 for the standard non-noise suppression glass including labor. Needless to say I am VERY impressed with the fast and accurate service we had on this glass replacement. They will be our go-to place for our glass needs in the future. On a previous visit to the shop, we ordered a thick piece of glass shelving. It was cut perfectly to our specs and available for pick-up the next day after we placed our order. I rarely write reviews, but I am so happy and satisfied with the service I received, that I decided to write this review for Dan's Glass. I found them by google search on Monday 2/22/16 after my Store's front glass was vandalized and broken. Richard showed up hours later and took measurements and gave us a professional typed estimate. I guess they have the proper equipment in their van. The estimate was very reasonable and was accepted by my insurance immediately without further inquiry. That by itself told me that their prices are good. I called Barry, manager, before 5 pm on Monday to tell him that I have accepted the offer and I want to hire them for the job. By next morning about 10am, Chris was at the site taking detail measurements for the glass to be cut and ordered. He told me that it will take about 2 days for glass to be ready, it needed to be tempered. I was so happy already with their prompt responses and professionalism. I expected that by Thursday they will inform me that glass is ready and make arrangements for it to be installed. Then to my surprise, Chris and Richard showed up at 3 pm on Wednesday 2/24 and by 3:30 pm the glass was installed. It really was the best and fastest service i have ever experienced. So, i give them 5 for professionalism, 5 for customer service, 5 for quality of job done.
