I went to Concord Glass because I needed some tempered glass placed onto two reptile enclosure doors. Unfortunately the doors did not have the groves for the glass to fit into which presented an issue but they figured it out and gave me high quality work at a reasonable price. I can feel the quality and weight of the glass. I'm confident about keeping my reptiles secure with how strongly the adhesive feels. Shelly processed the order. She was a pleasure to talk to and while talking to her I met Kyle and Johnny. Both were super kool and down to earth guys. We ended up talking for a while when I was dropping off the doors about how they were going to deal with no groves being there. A week later I came to pick them up and the work was actually a higher quality than I expected. So I got quality work at a reasonable price by a relatable, likeable group of people. I was severely disappointed in the salesmanship and quality of Concord Glass. After quoting $3800 for a new patio door Julio rolled the doors and said 'oh, you just need new glass with UV protection and lowered the price to $2500. After his workers replaced the glass the patio door wouldn't close entirely and the door handle was noticeably crooked from the outside. The color of the glass was darker than the rest of the house which was not disclosed before installation. Julio sought to adjust the wheel but left the patio door crooked even after he was asked to come back he refused and would not return phone calls. His expertise is questionable at best as I went to another glass company and got a quote of $2500 to replace the whole patio door with a brand new one. read more

We had a broken window - double panes (Low E and Grid). I called them & sent the picture of the window for a quote and they sent contractors to come and measure the window. Once they measured and ordered the window and the new window arrived, the contractor gave me a call in the morning & changed it right away. It took about 30'min to change one window. I called 8 window repair shops to fix my window that was falling apart. Most were on back order for weeks (6-10) and the other half were quoting a lot as they wanted to replace the whole window, frame, and redo the trim on the outside. Those were just the ones that said they could even fix it, I probably called 6 others yelp recommend and said they dont fix windows only bathroom, kitchen glass. Concord glass was the only one who would remove just the broken window and retrofit a frame in the old one that was still in good condition. My windows were custom built so it was a custom job. They were a better price then any of the other quotes I received. The room is now the coolest and warmest in house and has held up great during these last few storms. The window faces a side that regularly gets at least 15 mph wind that has ripped apart gates and knocked over propane bbq grills. The window is holding up great! To start off, I am typically a very critical person when it comes to service. Julio was quick with responses and even was open to take a call from me on his days off. Their quote was ~$450 cheaper than a nearby competitor for a frame-less shower enclosure (by the time the competitor emailed back the shower glass was already installed). Overall: Very responsive (even after install and payment), arrived and installed in the time scheduled, and very good quality work. This type of service is pretty rare these days. Where to start? I don't understand all of the 5 star reviews- there was another reviewer that also questioned the same. His review I understand! I called to get an estimate for all the windows to be replaced in a townhouse. It was hard to pinpoint an appointment time. Finally we were set for Friday morning. Unfortunately, I woke up very sick. I call, left a message to that affect and canceled the appointment in more than enough time for Brian to avoid the trip. I gave my availability for this week so we could reschedule. He said he would have to get back to me after he got back in the office on Monday to see availability. No problem, so I thought. Monday I get a text stating " I can come sometime today. I'll text when I'm on my way." Like I'm gonna wait all day just for him. I get a text a few hours later stating that "I can come now". I was in the middle of running errands and not close. Plus, I was driving and couldn't text back. 2 minutes later I get a call from Brian stating the same. I told him I'd rather set an appointment window and not just be expected to be available at a moments notice. It's hard to maintain a schedule as a business owner like that. We agreed on this morning at 10:00. I had told Brian that I was meeting another company between 9-11. He asked in it was a window company and it was. He said he didn't want to be here at the same time so he would come at 10. 10:00 comes and I get a text stating he is late because he is waiting on another customer to pick up glass. I guess he's the only employee?!?! 10:22 I get a text that he's in his way. 10:45 he shows. There were three of us in the living room talking, the front door was slightly ajar, I hear a knock at the door. What happened next absolutely blew my mind. Brian pushed the door open and started to enter!!!!!!!! Who does that? I'd never met the guy. My husband greeted him, I walked over and asked this. " I'm curious, why did you push the door open and start to come in?" He replied " because I heard you talking." OMG!!!!!!! As a business owner myself that makes many calls to customer's homes- I would NEVER- I mean NEVER just walk in to a home that I had never been to or did not know the people. Brian didn't see it that way. He became very defensive. I tried to explain why I didn't like it and he threw his arms up and said "you know what, I'm good. I came on Friday but you were sick and now you have a bad attitude." I looked him in the eye and said good bye. He did not come on Friday, he was notified not to come- AND, my husband was here all day. Secondly, if I ask you why you are just walking right in, it's not bad attitude- it's common sense. Julio called back and said he might be able to do the job and asked me to send some pictures and dimensions. I sent a couple of pictures of the broken window and rough dimensions. He called back and gave me a quote. I did not do any comparison shopping but thought the quote was fair. So I asked him to do the job. Next day, he sent his assistant to come take exact measurements and order the glass. Within a week he received the glass and called me. He and his assistant came promptly and installed the glass.
