If I ever need another repair service again for an appliance I would not hesitate to call them. When I first called the LG customer service number I was given two certified LG people in my area. I called the other company first and the gentleman came off as harsh and what seemed like a lot of money just to come out and look at my dishwasher so I thanked him for his time and called Action Repair Service, so glad I did! The lady who I spoke to was pleasant, able to schedule my appointment right away and for a much better price! Hank, the gentleman who came out to service my dishwasher was very knowledgeable, down to earth type who made a very quick assessment. It ended up that my part was under warranty so I only had to pay for the repair. They did all the work dealing with the company for me. Hank also showed me a secondary issue- a small leak from where my contractor hadn't attached the dishwasher correctly and had started a slow leak into my brand new cabinets. I am so happy I did because Hank was so kind and explained exactly what the problem was, quickly repaired it and took the time to explain just what was wrong. As luck (bad luck) would have it my freezer and air conditioner broke at the same time. Bad timing because my family was visiting from out of town and the avg temp that week was 100 degrees. Stay away. 1000% stay away. The compressor on my fridge died and LG sent them a work order. They gave me an appointment and then they cancelled half an hour before. They ordered the part and eventually installed it the next week. Then guess what happened? It didn't work properly. So I called LG again and they sent another service request to them. It's now been over a week. I've called them 4 or 5 times. They keep giving me dates and times for someone to come. No one shows up. No one calls me. No communication. None. I made my appointment on January 3 for January 13. The time window was between 3-5 P.M. The repair man called me that morning to ask questions regarding our dryer issues. He then said he will see and that he may or may not be able to come that day. I said I made an appointment and he asked what time. After I said 3-5, he said, "Okay then I will probably go." (What's the point of making an appointment if they may or may not be able to make it?!) The lady called me around 4 P.M. saying the repair guy won't be able to come because he is sick so we will need to reschedule. I rescheduled for the upcoming Sunday (today). I'm calling the store as well as the repair man and no one is answering. He finally answers to tell me he won't be able to come AGAIN. He said he left me a voicemail but I don't even have my mailbox set up so that was a lie. No one called me to tell me that no one would be able to come. This is the most unprofessional business I would never recommend them. UPDATE: He called asking if I would be okay with him coming when he still has a headache and is unsure of what he might have, I said no. He saw my previous yelp review. He then told me my dryer situation is not an emergency and I can just basically do it myself. I am currently pregnant and I am unable to move a dryer by myself. He said he didn't know that which obviously I didn't mention because I didn't feel the need to. I called this business for a reason because I obviously couldn't do it myself. They claim that it took 7 days to get the part, But i'm not a dealer and it took me only 2 days plus it took me all of 12 minutes to install the part. There were only 7 seven screws. And to make matters worse Hank broke part of one of two connector and try to hide it from me. Hank told me that total cost would be around $ 265.00 so I would had paid over $ 200.00 in labor cost for a part that took me only 12 minutes to install and granted I never done this before but was really easy. Hank call me right after I posted my review and ask what can he do to make it right. I said don't call me anymore. The technician was late to the appointment. I called the office to confirm he was coming since they didn't call me. The ignition went out on my dryer (the symptoms were obvious) and I told him so when he arrived. He took apart the dryer and cleaned out the build up lint (I helped). He reassembled it and tested and it seemed to work. He told me to call him if there were further problems. He charged me $125 for this. Of course, the problem still existed so when it acted up again I called the company and the office girl said they would order the part and it would be an additional $175! I asked the price of the part and she told me it was $145. This was 2 weeks ago. I never heard back from them. It's just as well, because after a week of waiting I priced the part and it's only $35. I am buying the part and replacing it myself. If you need to know how to work on your dryer, look on youtube. Stay away from these crooks!! Response to Hank: you NEVER responded to me. You NEVER came and did the repair. I don't need to be forgiven for a 1 star review when it's more than you deserve. Learn some customer service skills! read more

Amazing service! My dishwasher stopped working at about 530pm and they were at my house by 8pm working on it. The guy who came had it done by 6pm!Such a rockstar. Worst customer service ever experienced. Had an appointment on a Saturday 10am-1pm, I called at 1:30pm since i hadn't receive a call or technician show up. I ask the lady, wheres the tech and why didnt I get a call to let me know he was running late. All she had to say was , he will be there between 2:30-3pm. Again, I called after 3 since the tech hadn't arrived or no call and the call went to their voice mail. I had asked the lady if they cant make it please tell me the truth so I dont waste the rest of my day like I did my morning waiting for the tech, she told me no sir, I wont do that to you he will be there. It's upsetting to be promised something over and over again and have it fail every single time. I was promised to have service between 9am-10am, and it is currently 2:20pm and no one has showed up. So I call and cancel Action Repair after waiting on them for 2 days, yet they still decide to send someone over to my home! I do not appreciate that at all because the correct company that I called should've gotten our business. Instead, Action Repair came in not explaining who they were. On top of that my AC is still not working properly even after paying $180 which was a high fee even though it was a "discount." I called Action Repair Service to make an appointment to send a technician to check on my air conditioning unit which wasn't properly cooling the house. They gave me an appointment for the same day, within 2 hours. Hisham showed up on time, checked the AC units, changed the filters, added Freon, and fixed the issue with the AC. He advised me on the best way to maintain the AC unit and informed me on problems that could arise and what to do if they happen. So it was a visit to fix the problem and a lesson to be learned. I called and tried to make appointment for my broken refrigerator. It was nice that I was told the technician will come next day morning. On next day morning, they called and let me know technician won't be available they will try the same afternoon. I called again in the afternoon, then I was told the technician still won't be available and the appointment can be made only for another 3 days later. I have to cancel the appointment as I can't wait that long for the refrigerator , also not sure if appointment will be reschedule after 4 days. This is a bad business!! Hank came out to fix my AC about 3 weeks ago. Changed the transformer and I paid him over $300. My AC stopped working on Sunday night and I called him Monday morning. He told me he would come out on Tuesday afternoon. I called their office on Tuesday afternoon to check on a status and time of arrival. She said after 4pm.. 5pm comes by and nothing.. called them and she said he is in LA and will get to me later at night around 7pm...7:30pm nothing.. I called her she said he will come tomorrow morning (8-10am on 4th of July) I had to ask her again to make sure they were working on 4th of July, she said yes Hank will be there. Well, 4th of July no show again and no body answered the phone. Called them on Thursday and she said Hank would be there at 3pm. Big surprise no show again. I called her and ask what the deal was and was told Hank hurt his leg and can't climb a latter and that's why he hasn't been able to show up. WTF!! Why wouldn't they tell me that from the beginning!! They dragged me along during a heat wave I have 3 kids and no AC in corona!! No warranty on the work he did.. terrible business. They are unreliable.
