He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

Justin had called to introduce himself and advised he'd be arriving in an hour. He and his associate arrived as promised, asked a few questions, checked the sink and gave us his expert opinion. He was up front in the pricing, did not have to upsell anything and was very efficient. Plumbing issues are usually always a dreaded nightmare for people who know nothing about pipes and plumbing etc.. I was skeptical to even pick a plumbing company because stereotypically you hear discouraging things. At any rate, We are beyond pleased with today's service and with this company!! The line was snaked, Justin kept us involved by showing us the clogged areas with the mini camera and advised what he was doing and going to do. I don't think so however, they don't offer a "guarantee", so that the charge that you pay for them to snake your outside drain the first time is exactly that the first time. They want to know you for 375 each and every subsequent visit. I have two words for them one begins with an F the other one begins with a U. They're con men, rather con Cowboys If the service doesn't work in three or four days, they'll come back out but you have to repay the service so you have to pay $375 twice. That's just their policy. Every time I would voice a complaint the one cowboy would say I hear you ma'am. I'm glad he heard me, however, he did absolutely nothing to remedy: ie, help with looking into alternatives, call a supervisor, scratch his ass, other than say "I hear ya ma'am" pleasant enough, however after the sixth time - worthless - makes you angry in fact. It's like "well get back on your horses boys and head back to Texas and take your ugly ass machine with you" Ready, tidy plumbing con artists they want to nail you for a service call no matter if it's an hour after your service or two hours or a day, two days, three days, four days, It's just their policy. He quickly diagnosed our water pressure issue--our main valve was sitting at a dangerous 100 PSI--and installed a new 1-inch Zurn Wilkins regulator (our old one was 24 years old!). He also performed a hydro-jetting service on our main line to clear out all the debris. Giovanni was polite, professional, upfront with pricing, and worked incredibly efficiently. I also really appreciate the client portal they supply--it made it super easy to view my paid invoices and will be great for keeping track of any future estimates all in one place. I had called a previous company from OfferUp that charged $25 for a service charge. And that didn't work out. So I called Ace and they sent out Tony.. my dryer wasn't heating the previous company had replaced a thermostat. When Tony came out he explained that all it needed was coils. What I liked was that he ran a test load and waited. I should have called this company in the first place. There service charge was double but was free with the repair. A family friend told us about Expert Appliance Repair and Vitaliy was able to come out on a Saturday for a third opinion. After assessing, he told us our upstairs and downstairs units were actually in good shape but a board needed to be rebuilt and some parts replaced. He rebuilt the board, replaced the parts, and repaired a duct in the attic. Both the upstairs and downstairs units are now working beautifully in the midst of this summer heat and it cost us 68% LESS than what the bigger companies quoted for the repairs and a literal drop in the bucket compared to the cost of a full system replacement. We went in circles for several minutes, and I still could not get a clear answer. What concerned me even more was that he repeatedly laughed at me during the conversation, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. At that point, I decided I did not want him performing any work and asked him to leave. He refused to leave, even after I told him several times. I eventually informed him that if he did not leave immediately, I would call the police. Only several minutes after, and in spite of his dispatcher on the line, then did he finally leave. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about the company's hiring and training practices. If this is representative of the employees they send to customers' homes, I cannot recommend this company. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
