***READ IN ITS ENTIRETY*** before you get swayed by the bad reviews and these litany of 1-star bad ratings, please consider the following: 1). This is 1 of 2 companies authorized to work on Whirlpool, Jennair, Maytag, etc appliances in SoCal. 2). A lot of the bad reviews complain about the very long timelines of getting parts or be repair done. This company does NOT control the supply chain of Whirlpool, Jennair, Maytag, etc. Therefore, giving them a bad review because you're upset that they could not obtain the parts quickly is misplaced. If anything that blame should fall on rhe manufacturers. This company simply orders, receives the part, and installs the part. 3). Do not be so quick to put bad reviews just because they are slow to schedule an appt. They are 1 of 2 companies that service all of SoCal with authorized certified technicians of your favorite Whirlpool, Jennair, Maytag brands. If yo I get blacklisted you will have to get the other company to fix or repair your appliance which will mean EVEN LONGER wait times for you. Be smart. Allow them to understand your urgency and ask for the closest available times and work with their dispatch team to schedule your appt as quickly as they can. Keep in mind they will still have to diagnose your appliance, order the parts, and then schedule for the repair/install once the part arrives in a few weeks. 4). After the pandemic, there's a scarcity of skilled and certified technicians for appliance repairs. Don't be foolish and start complaining about how the technicians didn't move fast enough, or how they didn't do it exactly how you expect it. Have patience and work it out with the company. Technicians are people too and using a bit of courtesy with them will go along way. There's a scarcity of them out there and so the price for repairs will go up naturally and of course you will get less options on who performs these repairs. As a consumer, use basic soft skills and people skills to get your repair done and leave the emotional issues out of the equation. 5). Lastly, learn to understand supply and demand. For both parts and labor. Supply is low on parts. Therefore longer time Lines from the manufacturer. Supply is low on skilled labor. Therefore there's a premium to be paid on repairs. If there's complaints you want to throw - throw them at the manufacturers. Go flood their call centers and write them on Twitter and email to let them know your displeasure. Punishing small businesses like Impact and the like will only make it worse for consumers like us over time because if these small businesses go belly up, prices for repairs will only skyrocket and wait times will only get worse. Use your better judgment and help yourself and others when addressing things using a review. Be smarter and have a conversation before being a keyboard warrior and airing your frustrations on here. That doesn't help anyone. Finally, yes, the Impact appliance tech came To my home, wore shoe protectors to keep my floors clean. Diagnosed my errors on my appliances. Ordered the parts. Gave me a a few weeks estimate, and then said once they have the parts c they would schedule my repair. Best I could expect and should expect. When they come over and get it fully repaired I will update this review. But so far, they did what they should and could.

Every 4 to 5 weeks had to defrost freezer i didnt know they still made these lol

Horrible service with folks that seem to have no idea what they are doing. Ended up buying a new dishwasher.

These people don't know how to repair appliances. They don't return phone calls and misdiagnosis problems. DO NOT USE THEM!

After a two week wait for our appointment that was scheduled by Maytag, and accepted by Impact Appliance repair, they were a no show.

had a very frustrating experience with this company…read more On the first appointment, the technician never showed up. On the second attempt, they arrived 2 hours late and the third day the showed 3-hour s later after the service window I was given . When the technician finally came, he looked at my washer, ran a cycle, and told me nothing was wrong--even though I clearly explained that it wasn't draining properly. The very next morning, I ran a load of laundry and had the exact same issue: the water still wouldn't drain. I called them again and was given another window of 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, but once again, they didn't show up until 6:00 PM. When the technician arrived, I asked about an error code I had found. His response was dismissive--he said he works on many machines and doesn't know all the error codes. In my experience, a trained technician can usually diagnose issues within minutes. At one point, he even showed me that he was using ChatGPT on his phone as part of his "diagnostic test," which was honestly concerning. He then quoted me $500 for the repair. I laughed and asked him to leave. Later, a manager called to confirm the same $500 flat rate but refused to break down the cost. I had already researched the part myself--it costs around $50-$80, which means they were charging over $400 in labor for what should be a relatively quick fix. Overall, this felt like unprofessional, untrained service. I would not recommend this company.
