Had an excellent session with AJ. The HIIT classes are challenging but exhilarating. Glad I found this little gem of a gym. It feels women-friendly too. Love this place!

4:30am Bootcamps, no class is the same, there's something for everyone.

Veronica at Active 7 Fitness is amazing. In such a short time it's been a transformative experience for my fitness journey. The community here is incredibly welcoming, positive vibes always. Veronica is always sweet encouraging and extremely supportive by constantly checking in on us, like myself, I wanted to know how much protein am I supposed to be intaking daily. She took the time to educate me, which is something I never really truly knew or understood, she doesn't push anything on you, you pay as you go, no contract. Easy Peezy process. Most of the time if you take a class in the evening, she will even work out with you as well which I think is pretty cool. I'm extremely grateful that I found her, especially being Highly Recommended to her by a dear friend. She spoils us with energy mocktails before workout, of course for a reasonable price but you can't beat that, they are delicious. At Active 7 Fitness every birthday is celebrated with a delicious protein doughnut, a mocktail upon request, in a special touching happy birthday wish sing along. Thank you Veronica for all the wonderful things you do to prep at each workout to make us feel so special.

Well I had the opportunity to take Tracy's rebound class and it was the best time I have had in a long time.

From the moment we approached her, her attitude was rude, cold, and unwelcoming. As my friend and I were walking toward the equipment, my friend asked if I could take a tour of the gym, and she simply responded, "Okay," with no friendliness or customer service. Later, when my friend was trying to help me get a 30-day pass, she asked how I had gotten inside. Keep in mind, there was no one at the front desk when we entered, so there wasn't even an opportunity to check in. Throughout the entire interaction, her attitude remained snobby and dismissive, and there was absolutely no reason for it. What really stood out was watching her interact with men who walked into the gym afterward. Her demeanor completely changed--she smiled, greeted them warmly, and spoke to them in a much friendlier tone. It was obvious that the level of customer service she gave them was very different from how she treated me. She also had me waiting on the couch even though the manager wasn't helping anyone at the time. My friend and I asked the manager about her behavior, and he agreed there was no reason for it and said he would speak with her. No guest should be made to feel unwelcome the moment they walk through the door. A receptionist sets the tone for the entire gym experience, and everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect, professionalism, and courtesy.

I've been visiting the Planet Fitness in Covina and, overall, it's a good gym with a lot to offer…read more The staff have always been friendly and welcoming, and I appreciate that this location is much larger than the Baldwin Park gym. There are more workout stations, more equipment, and more lockers, so I rarely have to wait for a machine, even during busier times. The only downside is that the facility doesn't seem to be maintained as well as it could be. I've noticed some equipment that appears worn or damaged and could use repairs or replacement. The floors, including the women's restroom floor, have also been noticeably dirty during my visits. I also noticed a few members carrying their backpacks around the workout floor. While I understand people want to keep their belongings close, allowing bags on the gym floor could become a safety hazard if they're left near equipment or walkways. Overall, this location has great potential because of its size, variety of equipment, and friendly staff. With a little more attention to cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and enforcing gym policies, it could easily be an even better place to work out.

Paradise truly has the best machines, and even when it's busy, you can always get your full workout in because there's such a great variety and volume of quality equipment. That alone sets them apart. The environment is friendly, fun, and upbeat, which makes it a place you actually look forward to going to. What I also love is that there's access to trainers for both beginners and more advanced lifters, so no matter where you're at in your fitness journey, you'll feel comfortable and supported here. The owner, Elsa, is incredibly accommodating and clearly takes pride in her business. It's obvious she invests both time and money into making this gym stand out. The layout is well thought out and flows in a way that just makes sense--you can tell a lot of planning went into it. The gym is very well equipped with all the extras you might need to do any workout. She also has more upcoming renovations planned which shows she's committed to keeping the gym fresh and continually improving. I'm excited to see what Elsa has in store. Overall, Paradise Gym stands above the rest. Highly recommend!

Machines and equipment look cool but then the dirtiness and lack of buttoning up items against the walls and electrical conduit make it seem dirty and unfinished. Don't try to give somebody friendly advice because you've been lifting for 30yrs because they'll get mad at you for talking to other people that you didn't come with. My wife has attended Athletics For All (AFA) for years and I finally dumped the "normal" gym and moved to AFA. Do you like accountability from the trainer and your workout cohorts, then this a for you.
