Front desk lady was rude from the moment i walked in for whatever reason and i brushed it off at that point. Got called back to exam room to be told that i couldn't proceed with my appointment until i made a payment which okay sure let's get that sorted out. Nah. Front desk lady gave me a sticky note with the billing departments and told me to call the number off to the side when i asked about payment plan options. that number told me to call the office which was AI automated and not helpful by the way- I gave my information just for the AI phone operator to tell me that the billing department will reach out to me in a couple days. I go back inside to tell the office chick that and she calls the billing dept herself ( she could've done that from the beginning btw) hands me the phone THROUGH THE GLASS in the waiting room to sort out a payment plan option with some other lady. Phone lady talks to Front desk lady and they come up with a number for the 1st payment. which wasn't a lot but more than I expected/ could afford at this moment. Chick didn't even try to disguise her judgement and also spoke about the payment circumstance loudly which was really unnecessary since the waiting room is about as small as a target family bathroom. I sat in the waiting room for another hour. I assumed the old chick in the front was just having a bad day but she was nice to the other old ladies i'm not sure why she was bitter towards me. Regardless, I waited in the waiting room for way longer than necessary. When i get to talk to the doctor she wasn't listening to what i was telling her, she kept insisting nothing was wrong it's just hormones fluctuating during my cycle but also told me that the lab results i had done separately were completely normal. Her solution? Birth control. Insisted there would be no side effects. Still gave me no answers to why i'm having the problems i've been having, and I was frequently interrupted as well. All that for a conversation that could've been a phone call. On top of that- The doctor didnt even discuss potential options FOR the birth control she said would solve the problem (that she wasn't listening to) Horrible experience. Horrible results. Wouldn't recommend and will not be going here for any type of treatment. Chat GPT could do the same thing and still have better client interaction and helpful answers.

Knowledgeable, caring and personable. It took a total of 70 minutes. From the time I went back for prep to the time I was DC'd. Outstanding teamwork to make things run the way they did. I'll be back to have my other eye done with Dr. Shelton and it'll be a privilege to be in the hands of him and the staff at the Chevy Chase Surgery Center. Suite 105. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Jeffrey is amazing --knowledgeable, caring, patient, and just all around lovely and encouraging. my surgeon was super impressed with the progress i made due to my immediate and continued therapy. and a year on since the injury, i am able to use my hand nearly to full strength. so so glad i found him, and wellworks. i would be remiss if i also did not shout out marilyn (sp?) and the OT student (forget her name!) who also assisted me in my recovery. If you're looking for an OT who truly cares and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Jeffrey and the entire WellWorks team. Five stars well deserved!

Now, I'm getting therapy for scapular dyskinesia. This time, it's much harder to create the mind-muscle connection, but my therapist Alex gives me great tips and he spends a lot of time with me to make sure I have good form. Slowly, I can tell my posture is improving. Finally, the ladies at the office are always very helpful with scheduling my appointments. They remember my name, which makes me feel welcomed.
