Left with the Halibut and more shrimp, but will have to come back for the swordfish, cod and more. Also left with 3 very reasonably priced exceptional Lobster Rolls. The seafood is fresh and the portions are a good size, but every time I go in there it seems to be run by a group of high schoolers... Over the phone orders have been incorrect, the tables are almost always dirty, and I watched the kid at the register bring a piece of fish back to the cook without so much as a glove on his hand... The prices are not cheap either, two seafood dinners (a piece of fish with one side) will run you $50 easy. I get the sense the owner of this location doesn't stop by often to check on how their staff is doing. When I visited recently a half an hour before closing time, the staff seemed irritated that they had to take another order and fire up the grill again...mind you I walked in at 6:30 not 6:50 when they close at 7. My flounder sandwich was large and fresh, but tasted like nothing as if no salt or seasoning was used in the fry batter. My wife said the same about her grilled halibut, fresh but lacking in flavor. All in all it works if you are in a pinch and want some fresh fish, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

This restaurant is very nice and spacious and offers a variety of seafood entree's for everyone. This time I ordered the lobster sandwich and it came with a choice of any side soup. I got the yummy clam chowder and it was very creamy and hot. There was a generous amount of lobster in my sandwich and I was happy about that. It tasted fresh and I really liked the seasoning. For appetizers we ordered their calamari and crab cakes which were also very good. The calamari was nice and crunchy and the The crab cakes were very flavorful. The fish entree's looked great and I was lucky enough to get a bite of each. Next time I want to get the flat fried fish! Yum! The service was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. My small order had 8 pieces with a very thin coating of Buffalo-ish sauce-- not as spicy or as vinegary, but reasonably piquant and tangy. Not much crisp, but extremely plump and juicy chicken meat underneath. So a mixed bag of flavor and texture, but overall, good. -- True West Burger: Sort of a thick burger, sort of a brioche bun (closer to a better, fresher McDonald's), with vegetation significant part of it. Choice of cheese. Cooked to my requested medium rare, yielding juices. Overall, good burger for its class, though for $22, maybe it should be compared with classier ones. -- Fries (included with the burger): Frozen, somewhat artificial tasting, and a coating of some sort that held in the heavy dose of salt (like pretzel sticks), as if salted even before frying. -- Beers: Plenty of styles and plenty within each style to choose from. I really enjoyed my peachy Pit and Peel New England IPA and liked the Ruckus as well. Service was outstanding. My server Mariana was outgoing, very familiar with both the food and drink offerings, and checked back often. This was probably the determining factor for this tossup between 3 and 4 stars getting nudged to the 4. If it were an option, more of a 3.5. And if you're similarly torn, having some of the best ice cream in the state a few doors down afterward at Westside Creamery might tip the scale for you (literally and figuratively).
