If you don't like seafood this place is for you. The lobster on the lobster roll was not fresh. Took two bites and throw away. My lobster roll meat had hard bits to it and the claw meat had black marks. Also had lobster roe in the roll, which is not something I've ever encountered on a lobster roll, nor would I like to again. Their pound and a half lobster tank have 3 lobsters inside, which two were dead. The one that was alive was I think dying and had not taste. The hot butter was overly salty. We will not be returning. This place is not good. Stopped in to check out the offerings, got a warm buttered lobster roll. They microwaved the lobster meat. They serve chips with the sandwich but it's not a bag of chips, some guy reaches his hand into a huge bag and you get a handful. Ew. The market and kitchen are filthy. I was with someone else and trying to play it cool, so I followed through with my food order but did not end up eating it. We came here on a Saturday evening and this ended up being some of the best seafood I've had in years. The quality of the ingredients here is truly incredible - everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned - we will definitely be back. We ordered: Grilled Salmon ($17) - This came with two sides and I chose the butternut squash and vegetable which ended up being broccoli. First, I am not a huge fan of squash but this squash was to die for. It was mashed up and so buttery and well seasoned. Wow. I'd come back just for the squash if I'm being honest. It was perfectly sweet and rich - a really great side to any dish. The broccoli was a steamed head of broccoli that was fine and added some nice green to our dinner, but that squash was special. And if we're talking about special, the salmon was grilled perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and came with this delicious creamy dill sauce and a slice of lemon that brought everything together wonderfully. It was perfectly cooked and juicy with great flavor - I will definitely be ordering this again. Seafood Casserole ($21) - We got this with mashed potatoes and cole slaw and the potatoes were also really tasty and well seasoned. The cole slaw didn't have too much mayo which was nice, but it wasn't too special other than that. The casserole itself had some HUGE scallops, shrimp, and haddock that was all very nicely breaded and buttery. The scallops were literally the best scallops I've had in over five years. They were massive, sweet, and perfectly cooked so they were tender and juicy inside. The shrimp was also above-average - nice and plump with a good sweetness as well, and the fish was decent, but not the star of the show. Steamed Mussels ($17) - This was served over linguini with a garlic, white wine, and tomato sauce. There were a good amount of fresh mussels in this, and the sauce had a nice balance of sour, sweet, and savory. This wasn't my favorite, but it was still very solid. Both this and the other pasta dish also came with two pieces of garlic bread which was served as a roll cut like a hasselback potato with butter, garlic, and herbs stuffed in each mini-slice. It was buttery and salty and even crispy - really delicious! Seafood Fra Diavolo ($23) - Similar to the seafood casserole, this had AMAZING scallops and shrimp in it. It also surprisingly had small chunks of lobster, and the fish was yummy as well. The sauce was sweet and tomato-ey, and we kept coming back to this linguine dish over and over - it was so fresh and balanced! Overall, EVERYTHING WAS SO FRESH. All of the seafood was sweet, fresh, and just really clean tasting. We will absolutely be coming back here again and again, and the price was also really reasonable. On top of that, they have a little shop where you can buy fresh raw seafood as well as prepared seafood soups, baked dishes, salads, desserts, and other treats and goodies. I came to get a small cheap lobster. I was greeted upon arrival and they took my order immediately. I've been dying for a boiled lobster for months, and they didn't disappoint. It was as good as receiving it right from the dock at the cape. I was given drawn butter for my takeout these guys know what they're doing. I'll be back often because these guys are good. Lovely small shop specialize in seafood. Friend staff. We had clam chowder, shrimp scampi both came out excellent and beyond our expecation. Christmas Eve have a huge party coming over. I place an order for two dozen shucked ousters and shrimp. I leave my name and number and establish time to pick up - offer to pay told not necessary pay when I pick up. When arrive no record of my order. They have five posters and some little neck clams plus the shrimp. As recompense for this they give me a platter - nothing more than a plastic tray with cocktail sauce some lemon and couple of cherry tomatoes. Year prior I placed and order even larger and with cooked lobster plus oysters shucked. We arrive / lobsters not cooked nor oysters shucked. First world problems right? But that being said these occurrences happen when we splurge on our family and we expect when we order something we get what we order. A shame as we like to support small businesses but in this case we would say avoid Morgans Harbor to Hill and go somewhere more reliable. The discount also was insulting. read more

Besides being healthier, I thought it tasted a lot better than most fried seafood. I had their shrimp platter, the shrimps were huge. Really good coleslaw as well, very fresh. Was impressed with the place overall, very clean, and really no fish smell inside in spite of it being a fish market. Somewhat pricey, but sometimes you have to pay a little more for a good product. The problem is as we were paying for our fish, I asked the guy if they ever got in Gulf Shrimp. We ordered a couple of hot buttered lobster rolls, one w chips, one w coleslaw, and a cup of clam chowder. Bill came to $56. The rolls were very good. Just plain lobster meat on a buttered roll. The clam chowder was just ok, not much flavor but full of meat. Call them and order ahead because you will wait while they prepare your food. Overall, a good choice for lunch. read more

We found this place through Yelp while visiting the area, and the great reviews were warranted. This is a small locally owned seafood market that is run by the family. All of the seafood they sell is super fresh. The seafood was so great we shopped there three days in a row! We mainly opted for uncooked seafood to prepare at home, but we also tried their clam chowder, crab cakes, and stuffed clams and they were delicious. We got live lobsters one day which they steamed for us while we waited at no extra charge. They also peeled and deveined the 3 pounds of shrimp for us - again at no extra charge! read more

Gosh, this is an amazing local fish market. The fish case is super fresh with daily caught specials. My family actually stopped buying seafood at grocery stores because of this place. We buy the cod and shrimp regularly and splurge on the halibut cheeks and tuna steaks and it is 1000% better than any grocery around, trust. But GUYS they also make the best take-out too. We recently tried the baked-stuffed lobsters. Ordered 7 of them. I'm telling you that we scraped those bad boys clean to the bone they were so good. I keep thinking about them they were so good. We got both fresh fish and prepared foods from here. the fish was nice and fresh. the crab cakes we got were a bit too bready and super delicate, but still tasty. the lobster bisque was unfortunately not awesome. it was mostly cream with kind of the fragrance of lobster with a couple little bits in it. the clam chowder was okay. it was more substantial, if a little salty and coulldve been a little thicker. I would definitely buy fish here again and may get prepared food again for convenience. you could at least tell it was fresh and homemade. read more

A nice little place with quality ingredients. However, I ordered the shrimp scampi and the shrimp were so overcooked that they were barely edible. The garlic bread that came with it was soaked through in grease as well. My parents had the fish and chips that they love but the fries looked kind of soggy and the coleslaw was under par.
