Second time coming here and they did not disappoint. I had a pedicure, manicure, and full set acrylic done. I got there at 9:45am and they immediately started working on me. Wonderful service! The technician even gave me a plastic bad to hold all my rings so they weren't just laying out. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they delivered. I am only giving them one star because the lady was pretty nice. My nails are HORRIBLE. They didn't have a black light too cure my nails so they dried so I had too sit for 2 hours and they STILL weren't dry. Not too mention the shape is super curved and looked horrid and when she used the electric file she broke the nails 3 times and DIDNT FIX THEM. I enjoy coming to Acworth Nail Spa. Mr. Vinnie and Ms. Jade usually does my nails and they always look great! I like to talk to Mr. Vinnie about soccer and Ms. Jade about their family and their culture. I can get carried away sometimes because I talk a lot but they haven't made me feel uncomfortable about it. People are entitled to their opinions but when you say and do things to deliberately hurt someone which I feel Paulding L. is doing it's just wrong and pray for you. I am a minority and my mother, sister, and I have been coming here since the opening of this salon and I've never experienced this type of treatment from Vinnie, Jade, Tim, Ruby, or anyone else for that matter. They only reason I went twice was thinking that maybe the first time was a fluke and it's close driving distance! I won't go again! Last night I went in asking for a trendy ombré that I have seen surfacing the web. (I wanted to change it up from my typical style). I used to go to another nail salon in Acworth, however that salon I felt like a number and was rushed in and out. Here it's more of a small town feel, not rushed and you truly relax there because of it. They did one of the best jobs I had done in a long time. I got the Signature Spa Pedi done. Always friendly and clean. The owners greet me by name every time I come in and help me find my perfect color when All I have is a picture I found on Pinterest of what I want. They always offer me something to drink and even offer to change the channel to my favorite show (fixer upper) if it isn't already playing. They take excellent care of their customers. Do not come to this place! The owner is so rude!!! I had an appointment at 4pm for sns and pedicure. I was seated for my pedicure at 4:20 which is fine but at 4:40 when they had not started on my nails yet, I asked the owner when they would start. He literally said from across the room "you were late". I walked in the door at 4:04pm exactly because I looked at my phone when I walked in. He rudely said "it was 4:10 and I have you on camera". RUDE!! if your coming in just for your nails and your not doing your feet they will say there is no one here to do a fill in today. I left and went over to kennesaw whole foods shopping area- new nail shop. They always do a great job, extreamly accommodating. I came by to acworth nails again 2 weeks later for a fill in, and this time they were able to take me because there were only 2 customers in there. I asked for a small towel to put over the area where your wrist go because I did not want any chemicals to touch my skin or palms and was not sure the area was clean. The man started reacting like a teenage boy, lol, and threw a fit-stating no, he didn't have any towels. I was surprised he refused and I asked him again stating all nail shops carry towels and if a customer requests one, we should be offered one. He said, no- he couldn't give me a towel. I was like, ok. Can I get my own small towel from my car and as i start to get up -he also says, no, he doesn't want me to bring my towel, hands me my nail polish I brought with me and puts it in my hand as to gesture for me to leave. lol... So - I'm like oh- wow... now it has become personal. I don't know if he thought because I was a minority that he thought he could treat me in a manner that he did, or he wanted to just show everyone around him who was in charge by peeing all over his nail shop and marking his way or the highway. Either way, I would never come back. I have 2 teenage daughters and their friends always come by on the weekends and I always pay for the manicures or pedicures if they decide that they want to get their nails done, however it would never be across the street which is where acworth nails is from where we are. I am happy to drive to our usual spot in Kennesaw. For me, it will be either kennesaw or in Alpharetta where I work and stick to those arrangements. This acworth store just opened- these people's heads are so big that they can afford to toss customers out- But as people start coming in they will start to peel the layers behind their facade and see their rudeness and inhospitable attitude especially if you are a minority. I will also be putting a review on other sites about my experience on this place and have decided to contact the health department.. They should be using new files and buffers for each new guest. They are reusing the same nail files on everyone and we don't know the hygiene of everyone. You can catch a fungus or worse if blood is spilled onto a file and they are using that same file on you- your hands or feet- there is no telling what you are at risk of getting, hepatitis c, hiv and that is dangerous. Now, as I post my review, watch them blame the customer. Instead of making it right and taking responsibility, I wouldn't be surprised if they got into their feelings. Way to keep it professional. Maybe take a class on how to be accommodating and agreeable before opening up shop. read more

Worst place I've ever been. Pedicure was fine, but they truly messed up my nails. I've never had anything but the occasional manicure and wanted something different. They suggested the SNS nails. During the process, I kept asking the guy if the color he was putting on was going to match the muted coral color I chose. He assured me it would but when he said he was done, the color was neon orange. He and the owner tried to convince me it was the same color I chose. Even another nail tech said it wasn't when I asked her. So the owner took over and filed my nailbeds more and started with a new color I chose, pale pink. When she said she was do e with my right hand and asked if I like it, it was white! Again she tried to convince me it was the color I chose. She ended up taking it all off but now my nails are filed to nothing and are so thin and fragile. I don't think I'll be able to do anything with them until they grow out - and I'm hoping the aren't damaged too bad and can grow out okay. read more
