Jay C were exceptional kind, very professional, patient and knowledgeable about the teas that I want to do iced tea. She knew how to help everyone even when the store got crowded. From Phyllis

I came here while visiting some friends after checking out their website online because they normally offer private tea tastings, but I believe they are not currently offered due to the pandemic. Would have loved to try that, but it's understandable. Not only is the selection in this shop VAST but they are almost exclusively loose teas, which is incredible. There is such a wide variety of teas available it can honestly be a bit overwhelming if you don't come in with a mission. However, they do offer many different variety packs of ~4 teas with different themes ranging from different world regions, types of tea, holiday specials, ~vibes~, and even zodiac gift boxes. You will definitely be able to find something you like here. Not sure if you're ready to take a tea home? They allow you to smell the teas (in the boxes above each tea on the shelf) as well as order a cup (hot or iced) of any tea in the shop to go. The staff are also very knowledgeable and happy to help you choose! In addition to the tea itself, they have plenty of great tea accessories like tea sets, thermos, and even a shelf with fresh spices on offer. I was absolutely delighted to come visit while in Naperville and would definitely come back again when I'm in the area (and likely purchasing more online).

Stopped in here for a quick moment and was not expecting the expansive selection of teas! I ended up finding a sweet black tea that was DECAF!!! (Finding decaf black tea beyond English Breakfast has been difficult for me). The woman who helped us was incredible, and very kind. So thankful to have found this place. My work mornings are so much nicer with the decaf vanilla tea replacing the hotel-stashes of English breakfast I've been having *Side note: if you enjoy milk in your tea, you'll have to bring your own. Little sad they didn't offer the option, but I'm not sure how popular that is in the US.

Nice place. Folks knowledgeable about tea. They are not pushy as some other tea shops can be. They don't oversell.

My girlfriend liked the stuff and so I figured I'd show her a good time by signing up for the tea tasting.

He got an iced mocha and a tiramisu for us to share. The tiramisu was really good - the right amount of whipped cream and the lady fingers weren't too dry. I love that the amount of sweetened condensed milk was just right where the coffee didn't end up being too sweet. I do want to point out that the drink didn't seem like the strongest coffee around, and the taste closer resembled tea with a little milk added. I should have gone to the Vietnamese coffee the cashier offered! I also tried a piece of their sour cream coffee cake. Warmed wonderfully, and with just the right amount of sweetness, crispness, and just a little tang from the sour cream. This was terrific, and something I would absolutely get again. The vibe is classic with lots of wood, and plenty of comfortable seating. However, if you choose to take advantage of their WiFi, you are asked to buy a drink first, and then every 30 minutes after an hour. I understand where this comes from, and it serves as a deterrent from someone buying one drink and spending a working day in here. However, it also makes Sweetwaters seem like less of a spot to chill and catch up on Yelp reviews (for e.g.,), as I'd have to set a stopwatch to not break the rules. Final verdict: while the Dragon Eye could've had some coffee flavors, the coffee cake helped bring the experience up. While the vibe is classic, don't expect to sit and work without keeping the drinks coming.
