I've been coming here on and off I have to say the number 22 with fries instead of potatoes is so good! The gals are pretty polite and try to make the order what you've asked. This location is always clean and the food is always fresh! Recently went and my kids ordered from the kids menu. They both got a "baby burrito" (beans, cheese, and rice) and it was almost the same size as my California burrito! I was shocked! My California burrito had the juiciest of meat, perfectly cooked fries and just the right amount of cheese. I've frequent many California burrito locations and this one is always the best. I skimmed the reviews and a lot of them brought up their inconsistencies and that this place was either hit or miss. Luckily for me it was a hit! Now mine you, I only tried out their carne asada fries and it was delicioso!! I loved how the carne asada meat was chopped small, at first glance I thought it was ground meat. My bacon and egg burrito was delicious and the bacon was plentiful and real crispy bacon not that Costco bacon. My husband ordered the chorizo and egg burrito and it was just as delicious not to mention huge! We could have easily split one. I had an orange juice which was to my surprise freshly squeezed. I tried calling in my order and the music was so loud in the background the woman couldn't hear me. After hanging up and calling back 3 separate times I just we to the location. The woman working could hardly spoke english. This was an all a very frustrating situation. I ordered their Ham, Eggs, Potato and Cheese Breakfast Burrito and I was left satisfied, the potatoes were nicely cooked and soft, I believe red skinned potatoes which are my favorite if so and the cheese melted perfectly on the ham and eggs! They serve breakfast burritos all day fyi! One thing to know at their free salsa bar with tortilla chips, they don't have mild salsas, but they do have an ok tasting Pico de gallo and delicious pickled carrots, mm! This is my go to spot. I mean come on, you can't beat a 24-hour drive thru Mexican food spot that is actually good ! I can honestly say I have only had one time where my food was not that good. My favorite thing here is the crispy chicken tacos with no lettuce and extra cheese. The flavors for me are always spot on. Never super salty, the chicken is always tender and juicy. This wasn't what I expected the size looked like the a super burrito where we are from.. my kids and husband order this..they really liked it..it had the flavors. Thumps up!! The cashier at the drive thru was really friendly, I did mention to her that we are new to the area and that I will give a review on yelp on the flavor, courtesy. She ok, she did great guys. One suggestion the staff and management when a customer is waiting at that drive thru ,we expect food to come out quick it didn't. I was waiting for the cashier let me know there is a few minutes wait...but nope. So from a food business owner like myself, please always give a courtesy to the customer that there is a 3min or so wait for the order. This place is absolute garbage. Every time I've been here the service is terrible and they always mess up my orders, either giving me completely different food than what I ordered or changing it however they want and refusing to make it right. It's always a waste of money. The last time I went I ordered chicken nachos which usually comes with grilled chicken, for some reason this time they came with nasty boiled chicken and some of it had bones in it. I also ordered a kids burrito meal which clearly states on the menu it comes with beans and rice, but I was not given either. When I called to see if I could come back and get them they refused as if I was lying. Why would I lie about beans and rice? They also kept passing the phone around and wouldn't tell me the manager's name. Seriously the worst customer service and screwed up orders every time. Let me start by saying I'm an extremely picky eater and I don't generally like mexican food or most of the common components in mexican dishes (or any other non American dishes). I'm always nervous trying new things so 23 years of life this is only the 3rd taqueria I've given a chance and they might just be the best one yet. I'll have to try their asada super burrito and chicken super burrito before I can give them the crown but so far after that carnitas super burrito, I'm impressed. I'm not a huge fan of beans so I like that they use refried beans instead of those huge whole pinto beans like the other taqueria I've tried. They also have a perfect meat to bean to rice to cheese to sour cream ratio. I don't really like rice either and other burritos I've had felt more like a rice and bean burritos with a dash of meat while this burrito was stuffed full with carnitas and just the right amount of everything else. As someone who doesn't usually like beans or rice, I'm impressed with any establishment that has a dish that makes me like those things. My boyfriend and I typically refer to this location as our go-to very late night meal, but we've decided to throw this option out altogether after tonight. For one, my boyfriend ordered beef enchiladas and received chicken enchiladas instead. As I have friends that are very sensitive/allergic to certain foods, I have began to realize the importance of receiving the food you specifically order. Taking into consideration that someone behind the counter at any restaurant not paying attention to the order and messing up the protein or ingredients like this could cause someone an allergic reaction or harm otherwise, it is too serious to ignore, especially for those with allergies. So, my boyfriend was left with food he was unable to eat and had to return to the restaurant to correct the order. Also, the beans were cold and tasted like water. Really. The only parts of our dinner that were okay was my rice and crunchy chicken tacos. Even then, the rice is bland and is in need of something. However, due to the tacos being laid on their sides over the rice, the bottom crunchy taco was very soggy on one side. I usually just deal with it but after tonight's experience, it's worth noting to prospective customers. With this in mind, the only actual enjoyable part of our dinner was our root beer. read more
