They charge you for something you didn't order (ie a plate vs à la carte and short the plates. When we called, they hung up on me. Make it fresh or don't even bother. Only 3 taquitos for 9 dollars, no flavor in the taquitos, tasted like cardboard. I will never go here again. I want to say THANK YOU! I had a big order of 17 breakfast burritos (sausage, steak, ham, and bacon) and an early morning pick up. I called in the order and came in to pay the day before. I roll up at 5:23AM and all those burritos were packed and covered in big tin tray, hot, and ready. I appreciate the burritos were all labeled, and for the big bag of salsa and napkins. Hungry after a full day and having skipped lunch, my friend and I stopped here for dinner on her recommendation and it hit the spot for me with large portions, quick service and a clean dining area. We both ordered veggie burritos and shared chips and guac, which came with hot, nicely salted chips covered with a healthy amount of guac and shredded cheese on top, gracing my hungry taste buds in bite after bite of warm, melty, comfort. The veggie burrito is huge- I've eaten for dinner and lunch and still have enough for another meal. The employee who helped us offered us salsa, and gave us 4 containers of it, which I thought at first might be too much, until I saw the portion of the chips and guac- it was the perfect complement. I bought 20 breakfast burritos for an event. We asked to have them cut in half. And got 5 Chorizo, 5 bacon, 5 sausage, 5 veggies. And people inhaled them! They were huge! I called the night before you place the order to be ready at 6am! I showed up and sure enough the order was ready to go! With napkins and salsa compliment! We will definitely be coming back! Beto's Tacos - 2234 El Camino & Howe, The $17.00 Burrito There are certain creature comforts that remain a staple in our lives, sometimes they are also referred to as guilty pleasures. One of mine are breakfast burritos from Beto's Tacos. For years I have enjoyed the occasional Breakfast Burrito from Beto's on the way to work. For the longest time the price remained at $7.75, yet I would request the addition of Ham and pico de gallo. This was always a $2.00 up-charge for "Extra Meat". Not a problem, because it was still worth it. I went there last week and put in my regular order, Sausage, Egg, Potato Breakfast Burrito and add Ham and pico de gallo. I found out that my once $7.95 burrito had risen in cost to $9.75. The up-charge for the ham went up to $4.00 as well. That was double what it once was from $2.00, yet it was still worth it to me, because they make a darn good Breakfast Burrito. Today, I ordered my usual and thought nothing of it. When I got to the window, the cashier said; "Okay, that will be $16.97!" I was taken aback and asked, what did I order? They read my order back to me and said that there is a $6.00 up-charge for extra meat. Six Bucks for extra meat! That is 2/3rds' the cost of the actual burrito! There had better be a pork chop hidden inside this burrito. To my dismay, there was no pork chop inside, just cubed Canadian bacon. From the picture, one can see that there is ham in it, yet the burrito is slugged with mostly potato and egg as filler. $17.00 for a Breakfast Burrito and I did not sit down inside, get served a glass of water or a cup of coffee. I am afraid that will be the last Beto's Breakfast Burrito I will have. These drive-thru places are going to price themselves right out of business. It is not that they do not make a good product, but their pricing needs to reflect how one is obtaining said product and what it is. I would expect to pay nearly $20.00 for a burrito if I was sitting down at Carmelita's in Roseville, not hitting the drive-thru Taqueria on Howe and El Camino. read more

Craving some chips & salsa, I made a beeline for the drive through right off El Camino the other night. I ordered a side of refried beans, along with a side of pico de gallo and chips. None of it left me disappointed; the beans were well-seasoned and not too greasy, and the chips were perfectly salted. The pico was a tad onion-heavy, but it was still delicious. If anything, I'd order another side bag of chips - they're a good value for the $1 price tag, I just wanted more to dip in my beans! Love the shredded chicken hard shell tacos. They recently increased the price and I don't find it a good value for my money anymore.

We usually come here for Mexican food and usually get the burritos and nachos. Portions are generous, and food is pretty good! My only complaint is the customer service. We're usually given 2 tiny containers of salsa. We ask for a few more but they only give us 1. When we ask again for more, we were told only 2 per order. I love their green salsa but they are extremely stingy about it. read more

Still the best Mexican place in sac! Hands down. The people who work here are very friendly. It sucks that as I read some reviews that people haven't had the best experience here. All I can say to that is give them a second chance because they deserve it lol. Drive thru might take a little while but that's because they cook everything fresh. And really I've waited longer at in in out who really minds a 10-20 min wait for great food. And I live 15 mins away from this place. Everytime i come here it's been good for the most part . Doin it right !! Wow! Impressed with this establishment. Staff was super from customer service to food quality. I came here midnight on a friday, they were busy but i was out in less than 10 minutes. Guy over the speaker was attentive and the cashier was friendly. Now, the burrito. HUGE. I got the lengua super burrito and it was like 20% bigger than chipotles. Idk maybe it wasn't rolled tight but it was satisfying no complaints. I hydroplaned on my drive home as i hit some sprinkler patches on the road and i was completely side ways left and right drifting for about 5 seconds like Ken Block. The burrito FLEW out of the bag and onto the floorboard STILL wrapped and in one piece. No stems no sticks no seeds this burrito was the real deal. A big bonus Betos is in walking distance, and I like to support local businesses. We pretty much always get burritos in various forms, and I never disappointed. Today we got a Asada burrito, and some taco rolls for the side. The burrito is great, and I usually have some leftover for later in the day. They're huge! The taco rolls were not so great. Hardly any filling, and very greasy. I will stick with My burritos! We've been coming here for years, and the prices have gone up some. What do you expect? The price for food has gone up everywhere. I'd rather pay a little bit more for quality food, otherwise you can get two tacos for a dollar somewhere else. We usually walk here, but parking is never a problem, and they have a drive-through.
