First visit to this relatively new addition to the neighborhood. Nicely appointed, extremely large space that was completely empty on our arrival at 7 PM on a midweek night. Every member of staff greeted us warmly and were eager to talk and offer any possible little assistance - perhaps too eager (maybe they were bored?). Despite the empty, yawning space, the only other party to arrive were seated immediately adjacent to us, leading to both parties competing to hear their own conversations. Why would anyone seat customers so intimately? Perhaps because both tables were near the kitchen door? Not typically "preferred" seating in most restaurants. This was at the end of the bar, but there was no one at the bar, and the two parties could have been comfortably separated across the multiple rooms and tables. On to the food: excellent flavors! Tried the scallops that were HIGHly recommended by the hostess and waiter (seemed to be some confusion between those two about their respective roles). And the red lentil soup. And the roasted stuffed eggplant. And the pistachio baklava. All yum! Many, many other choices on the menu but we wanted to experience the chef's vision of Turkish specialties. Only part of the wine list was available but we found a light rosé that worked very well. Bottom line: above average dining, for a neighborhood place. Quirky service and seating. Not sure how they stay open with only random visitors but until they close we will happily return for more! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon Adas and I am SO happy that we did! It's a cute and quaint restaurant that has a lovely, romantic atmosphere. The server was extremely friendly and gave us wonderful suggestions. Everything from the wine to our entrees were exceptional. I had the pan seared scallops and they were Cooked to perfection. My husband had the kebab and the meat was so flavorful. We loved it all! Even though we don't live in the neighborhood, we most certainly will be back for another date night. read more

Nice restaurant and descent food but, I got carry out with 1 main course and 2 appetizers for $93.00. This was dinner for three people and everyone was still hungry. For me, way too expensive for not very much food. In my opinion the food was C+ and not very much quantity. I feel a bit price gouged. Absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, my partner and I opted for 2 of the "Turkish" menu items. The spices and flavors were delightful. Lots of choices, it was hard to decide what to select. My family went to Ada's for my parents 25th wedding anniversary and we had such a lovely time! The food was phenomenal and you could tell the very best ingredients were used because everything tasted so fresh! The chef came out afterwards and we were so pleased to be able to thank him in person. My dad and I got the salmon, which was wonderful! My mom and grandpa got he trout and it may have been the star of the show. Everything from the appetizers to the soup to our entrees and the bottle of wine were fantastic. Our wonderful server Sue was also so lovely and brought out a delicious tiramisu with a candle for my parents anniversary! Ada's was a pleasant suprise. We came in late January for a dine-in meal. The service was OUTSTANDING. The family who runs this establishment clearly cares about the well being of their customers, and the place, while having some of the sensibilities of a more trend-setting option due to its recent remodel, is really quite family friendly and approachable. I had the Jidori Chicken, and this was a nice change of pace option. The Scallops and Trout rounded out our family meal. While priced slightly high, the food was pleasant, and it really feels that Adas is a place worth supporting. read more

Great food! I had the scallops and my husband had the linguini with seafood, both fantastic. The eggplant appetizer was really good, too as were the profiteroles for dessert. What a strange meal. Our waiter was friendly but three times brought out food we hadn't ordered. After the first mishap, the chef came round and inquired about our food, a stewed eggplant dish. We confessed we hadn't ordered it but that it was tasty. Then the waiter arrived and the chef scolded him at the table side! So awkward! Another dish came out- also not the one we pointed to in the menu! Finally the eggplant with goat cheese arrived and it was inedible. So disappointing. My salmon was mealy and my husband's steak drowning in an excess of butter. The waiter offered dessert and recommended the baklava. I said I would think about it. Ten minutes later, baklava arrived! We were dismayed but we said we would take it. Pretty average baklava- not worth $12. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. read more

Though they had had a very bad experience before the chef change, I convinced my parents to go here Xmas eve because of the prior reviews. Did we just come on a bad night? Our experience was average, far below what was posted earlier. Good wine list, and drinks were good, but food was average at best. If you know the menu, you can steer yourself through to a good meal: Beet salad was quite tasty, but the vegetable sides were bland as can be (though we did ask for gluten and dairy free, that doesn't mean spice or taste free). The ahi tuna was the blandest of that ilk I've ever had - particularly the tuna itself, which wasn't particularly fresh; the salad accompanying it was absolutely drenched in soy sauce, which didn't help. Decent cheesecake, but overall left the experience was not one we plan to repeat. read more

I hardly write reviews but I think this place deserves one. We went to Ada's Restaurant for my wife's birthday with our friends. We ordered Sis Kebap , Kofte and Karniyarik. All tasted very good and authentic; as if you went to an upper scale restaurant in Turkey. The staff was also very friendly and everything was extremely clean. I really hope they put more Turkish options in the menu as it is really hard to find in Seattle. I will visit again for sure. read more

We had a 70th Birthday Party celebration last night at Ada's and it was wonderful! They have a small room that we could have all to ourselves. The wait staff were excellent and the food was outstanding and plentiful. The chef and owner came to our room to welcome us and to make sure we were happy with the meals. This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle! My bf and I recently visited Seattle and went to Ada's for dinner on a Friday night. I've had their Lamb Chops which was the best Lamb chips I've ever had. I also liked a lot their basil lemon drop cocktail (I'm a basil fan) the ingredients were perfect amount that made the drink very tasty! Perfect from every angle - atmosphere (cozy), presentation, food preparation, flavors, and wait and kitchen staff friendliness. My fiancé and I ordered the caesar salad and the ahi tuna and king salmon entree's, all superb and delicious. The only quibble I have is that the caesar dressing was sweet which seemed a mismatch. I would highly recommend Ada's and we will be back. You should go and enjoy it as much as we did. read more

Once I heard about this new restaurant I had to check it out. Upon entering the restaurant i was floored by the ambiance and how elegant the restaurant looked. The warm and friendly staff made me felt cozy. Even though the restaurant was busy I didn't have to wait. I had an italian red wine which the waitress recommended, it was great and lamb on knife which looked amazing and melted in my mouth and went very well with my dish. For dessert the cheesecake which I had seen others eating was so delicious. This is definitely my new go to fine dining spot. read more

This place is so lovely! We came here for brunch, and felt like we discovered a little gem. The inside is clean, comfy, and staff are super sweet. The food was fresh and delicious. You can tell when a restaurant hides behind salt or fat to hide the real taste of their food, but this was absolutely not the case. We just had a lovely dinner at this Phinney gem. The goat cheese appetizer was wonderful, the lamb entree perfectly spiced, the rib eye was excellent and the Shih Kebab (which was served on a sword!), literally melted in your mouth. And, of course, the bak lava was great too! The portions were sized well and the service was excellent! We're so glad we discovered Ada! read more

We go here for date nights quite often and it's always spot on. Very intimate space and delicious fresh food!

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We arrived close to closing time and they were still so welcoming. The food was beautifully served and delicious. We tried one of the more traditional Turkish dishes and paired it with the seafood pasta, and enjoyed the profiteroles for dessert. I would recommend all of them. The Chef stopped by the table and genuinely wanted to know our feedback and how we enjoyed our meal. It's clear he enjoys what he does!
