The Team of Big Josh (the Supervisor) and Little Josh came to the rescue! We have a house that was built in 1938 and we have 70 year old Avocado and Olive trees on our property that have deep roots that worked their way into our sewer system. The two Josh's quickly diagnosed the problem with a Camera and we have decided to go with the Hydro Jetting service that they offer to cut the roots out of our drainage system. I have been using Adeedo Plumbing and have had an annual membership for several years. In February, the kitchen sink/garbage disposal became clogged. The plumber who was dispatched looked at the situation and within about 30 seconds said "You need to replace your disposal". I said the motor is still working, I think it line is blocked and needs to be snaked. He then disconnected a pipe and immediately tried to inform me that the pipe leading to the city line was smaller than regulation and snaking it will damage the pipe and the pipe needed to be changed to the tune of $15,000!!!! None of this made sense, I asked him to snake the pipe and thought to myself I will "live dangerously". It feels like the technician was trying to scam me. I have called several times and was told that Bryan will call me back. He never has, even after having left 3 messages, The HVAC Dept keeps calling to make a check-up appointment. I informed the agent that I will not let anyone from Adeedo step foot into my house until the situation has been discussed and resolved. I can only assume that they no longer care about keeping customers and keeping them happy. Be cautious people! Sadly, your response does not address: 1) Why I have not had the courtesy of a return call from Bryan to discuss the matter after having left several messages; 2) Why the technician immediately wanted to replace the garbage disposal without thoroughly examining it and yet, 5 months later it is functioning perfectly well and 3) why your technician and the person who came with the snake camera were trying to pressure me into a costly $15,000 pipe replacement when, obviously, only a snaking to unclog the drain was required. I cannot understand why I should be calling YOU to discuss this. You and your company should have been more proactive and taken care of long-time customers who were very unhappy with the company and the situation. DO NOT CALL IF YOU ARE NOT THE HOMEOWNER! I am a family assistant and I called on behave of the homeowners I work for as this is my job. I know the house just as well as the homeowner does and deal with contractors and service people coming in and out of the house every day it would be no different then them dealing with the homeowner. Adeedo wanted to charge us $70 because they were dealing with an assistant and not the homeowner. That is just stealing money from people that are fortunate enough to have help at home. So they have not only lost their $70 but also any other business from us or referrals. I also want to add that Ashley who I spoke with on the phone was not helpful at all and did not try to help when I explained this to her. If you live in the East LA Boyle heights area avoid this company. Unreliable (they cancel and then call back and say never mind we can come), they do not provide you invoices and furthermore the miscommunication is constant. We have given this company a try for two years now because they are a sister company to service champions which has stellar customer service. However adeedo does not and they take no accountability for their actions or miscommunication. It was so bad that we got a refund because we were so dissatisfied with the service. We spoke to a manager Hilda who also could not resolve the issue besides saying Addedo manager for that area does not want to service split units that they did not install. This is ridiculous because you all did a tune up on it in 2021, when we called to schedule appt we mentioned to houses one with a HVAC and one with a split unit. Service technician was rude and said "we didn't install so we do not fix." We have to call multiple times for our inicie to be mailed to us and it's never a manager from Addedo calling us back it's always service champions cleaning up the mess your company creates. I had a few toilets back up at once, just before an inspector was coming to my house to inspect for the people buying my house. Needless to say, I needed the repair done asap. They cleared my mainline then proceeded to tell me I had several cracks in the plumbing that needed to be fixed. It would cost $4,000 - $7,000 dollars and they would send me a quote. I called them 3 times to ask for the quote and video footage from their camera with no response. Our shower backed up and our toilet would not flush so I called our plummer Adeedo that I have used for a long time. They arrived within a couple hours . The young man then called another tech. They took a camera and said my sewer line was under the dirt of my raised foundation and they would have to start this right away. They would have to dig up the sewer line and replace that because it had a slight crack. They were very pushy about getting started the following morning. I said okay but after thinking about it I called the gentleman that came out at 6:30 am and said I was going to get another opinion and not wanting to go forward with them . I was told the cost of replacing the pipe was 11,220.00 The other company came out flushed the toilet many times and went under the house and informed me that my sewer pipe is above the dirt and also gave me pictures of it. There was no leakage of any of these pipes.. I almost spent 11,220 for nothing. I will no longer will be using Adeedo. We called Adeedo due to a broken spout in our shower. We called Adeedo and they came out same day which we liked. Thier employee Min came out and gave a quote on the broken spout and gave estimstes on replacing all the hardware in the shower. I did not tell them we had other companies come out to give us quotes. Min was honest about the repairs we needed and the quote was a reasonable price. I am giving tje company 5 stars due to Min and his partner asking if there was any other plumbing issues we had. I told them our water pressure was low sometimes and they fixed the water pressure for free. That was going above and beyond in my book. They felt trust worthy! read more

They installed a garbage disposal for us in March of 2022. They would not give a estimate over the phone. It ended up being around $700. Overpriced. We had an issue with it in April of this year. They came in and said they could replace it and the sink for $1,400 ?? I called to get details given the fact it was just over a year old and should be under warranty. They said it only had a manufactures warranty, to call them. And a technician was to call me back regarding the quote. Never heard from the technician. We had our Handyman come in a few days later and found the disposal was still working. Not sure the Adeedo technician even checked it. read more

Adeedo sold me as a future customer, by just being honest. I purchased a water heater from another company and was told I need a water pressure regulator. I decided to either try another plumber or fix it myself because their prices was a little expensive, and the work seemed pretty simple. Well, it wasnt as simple as I expected and I called another plumber. Unfortunately, I was quoted an insane amount. I ultimately decided against it. Had a bathroom drain that was emptying slowly for about a month and finally just stopped. I tied draino and a handheld rooter thingy but neither worked. Figured I had to cough up the dough to get it done professionally. I assumed I'd be paying about $100+ for the 4 min it would take to get it done. I run a 30-unit apartment complex in Newbury Park, CA. My maintenance man was unable to clear a bathtub drain so I thought I would try a new vendor. I called Adee Do around 10:15 A.M. to see if they could send a plumber to do the job. They told me that they would have a plumber there between 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. today and that they would call me when he was on his way. At 4:00 P.M. I still had not heard from anyone. I called the office and was told that they couldn't make it to the building today, but they would be happy to set an appointment window for tomorrow! What kind of an amateur operation is this! The guy who I spoke with even had the audacity to tell me that they are a very professional company - I don't think so! If a vendor sets an appointment and commits to be there, I expect them to honor that commitment. If they couldn't make it, they shouldn't have made the appointment in the first place. Adeedo is a fraud. My elderly friend called Adeedo to her house in Beverly Hills because her bathroom sink was draining slow. The tech told her she needed her drain pipes replaced from below the sink to the main. $5,200.00 included patching wall. If no wall patch then price would be $3,200.00. Two men for 5 hours replaced drain line. They left and she turned the water on in the sink, still clogged. Tech comes back out and cleans the pop up of a lot of hair. Bookers beware! I had an appointment window from 10-12 on a Thursday, and was told the worker would call ~1 hour prior to arrival. They called at 9:52, but to cancel, and offered to reschedule 2 weeks later. The dispatch person was nice, and said she was sorry I took off work, but Adeedo had scheduling issues, but still fulfilled their obligation by calling more than an hour before the latest time, 12pm, even if it was to cancel. And maybe they could find time before 2 weeks, but I'm not going to roll those dice again. So I recommend booking multiple appointments for your Adeedo service, and when they call, if you're not home, no problem, it's ok to just cancel that day, and maybe you'll be home next time. Also, this might work with payment too...you agreed to pay, but maybe something happens and then you don't have to pay for 2 weeks. Should be fine. Frantically scouring the internet for plumbing deals, coupons, "internet specials", etc. Now it's a simple process for me: One easy call to Adeedoo. They also made sure they communicated to me that there are a number of things they could discover that could turn this job into a costly venture (like a cracked or collapsed pipe).
