Declining a CLAIM - when was a washdepot claim opened Lisa? Horrible what others will do, to hide their own employees carelessness. They refused to pay for a TOW - so I was inconvenienced with not being able to drive for over 7 1/2 weeks until I was rescued by Pepboys Towing. Your security footage with the VOLUME ON would show everything that occurred on your property and in those WORK BAYS. $8,104.80 plus OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES & INCONVENIENCES later after finally being led in the right direction after my 4th battery being replaced in 26 months - I took the car to the dealership ON 8.31.2026 to be repaired. Three and a half days of work was required. I am appalled at the NEGLIGENCE of Sparkling Image WahDepot for not taking responsibility for what happened at one of their establishments. A simple OIL CHANGE - the 4th one. One done at the dealership in WPB in between. The windshield wipers sold to me for $50 are SQUEAKING like my others ... you told me that would be from "dry rot" - you just installed them on July 5th 2026. Not Good. Car was returned to me on July 5, 2026, as I was driving away it OVERHEATED beyond anything I ever experienced on my way to RAW JUCE - smelled burning rubber??? Did not make any sense. After I waited quite a while to drive back to Ft Lauderdale - OIL LIGHT went on when I put my foot on the brake, would stay on for a while, then would disappear. Next day when I went to start the car & drive back to them on 7.6.2026 with Gremlin Noises that appeared to come from the engine - I did take a video & photos. They made the noise go away the day I returned. But, on 7.7.2026 same noises - but louder - trying to put the car in reverse did NOT SOUND GOOD. So I chose to err on the side of caution and not drive the car. Never on any of the other THREE VISITS at this location did they choose to share with me the ENGINE WAS LEAKING OIL. That could have been the death of everything good. I believe they should be MORE CAREFUL in how they handle VISIBLE ISSUES - that is called CARING for your CUSTOMERS. They wanted full control of speaking with the PERSONS (licensed mechanic) who would fix my car, but EXPECTED me to lay out & pay for everything. Something wrong with that picture when you are on a very limited fixed income. I am so GRATEFUL we were able to Diagnose what was wrong - they were NOT PART OF MY being rescued. Spent 38$ on the package up from the basic (second tier) and they couldn't even wipe down my interior better. When I asked if they could give the seats a good wipe, the lady was trying to sell me on the seat cleaning package for $80!! Insane and Horrible. The only positive was the lady at the register who was very nice. What happened to the days when you would get a car freshener after getting your car cleaned? Anthony Detailed and Waxed two of my cars this weekend(mine and my wife's). He did an excellent job, was able to remove almost all water spots except for a couple that were embedded into the paint (not his fault). He is friendly and hard working, the cars looked fabulous!! Also if you have a monthly wash package you save 25% on the $199.00 detail and wax package. Barbara at the front desk is extremely friendly and sweet, she can call you and let you know when your car is ready and make sure everything is taken care of for you! This is the best car wash, they vacuum/blow out everything from the hood to the trunk. They Wipe everything dry and clean, tires come out looking shiny. You could go to a different car wash down the street, but you gotta vacuum everything yourself for basically the same price and they don't wipe/dry your car down after. read more

I usually go to the Ft Lauderdale location but recently moved closer to pompano. This location is disorganized in the layout. The employees are not helpful in the drive up line. The cashier was annoying and took way too long to meticulously cut around a coupon that I had. Then she walked around and touched my credit card as if I didn't know how to pull it out of the slot. The car wash was not great they didn't dry in any of the door jams, and I had to walk around and open my doors and point out the massive dirt. The ft Lauderdale location is so much better. read more

This is a very average car wash. I would spend my money elsewhere. We are in from out of town and got the car washed here. They didn't even get all the bugs off the front bumper. They do offer a free exterior wash within five days. I guess this is because they know their washes are subpar. We came back within five days but misplaced the receipt. I showed on my phone that I had been there but they refused to give me the free wash. I'm sure they could print another receipt but they refused to do that too. I've been to this car wash a few times now and have been pleasantly surprised by my experiences. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. For my first visit, a little less than $50 I got a full wash and inside detail and they did a wonderful job. Very quick as well, about 20 minutes. The second visit was a bit different. They don't have a menu of services - just a guy that walks around with an iPad thing with the services on it. I asked for what I thought was the same service I got the last time and he said the prices went up. They were already vacuuming my car so I said ok and let them do their thing. Almost $80 for what I thought was the same service. Little did I know the service I paid for was a full wash and a complete detail of the inside of my car. The staff did an absolutely amazing job which is why I'm giving this a 4-star review but they really need to have someone that explains the services better when you pull up. I didn't really have time for them to be doing that detailed of a service on this visit so I felt very rushed and anxious that they were taking so long with my car. I haven't been here in a couple years when it was under $15. Now it is $18.99 for a vacuum, wash and wipe down. They were very thorough and went beyond in cleaning my car. They did a great job wiping the inside and outside with towels. They do not have this offer on the price list so I had to ask. They do try to sell the upgrades or membership but I was not interested plus I don't live in the area. The cleaning staff worked hard so I left a tip in the box. read more

They do try to upsell you every time you come in, so if you don't know what you want or feel comfortable turning down the offers, you may end up paying more than what you're looking for. For a $35ish dollar car wash (+tip), I thought they did a pretty great job. I didn't go in with $200 detail expectations, just wanted a good wash, vacuum, wipe down and dry. I don't know why he did it but he walked over to me, offered his arm and brought me to my car. He was playful and I had a good time walking with him! The day before we were there with my husband's car to get an oil change and free car wash. One of the oil change options was on sale ($15 off) so we returned with my car to take advantage of the price. I've been coming to this location for more than a decade when it was named Simonize. Even though the business name changed, customer data is still in their computer so my car info/service history was already loaded. They quickly put my car on a lift and drained/replaced the oil. We went inside to enjoy the roomier store and to chat with the people at the counter. (They still offer car accessories, beverages and car wash packages.) Before long, we were presented with the paperwork so we could pay the bill and go to the car pick up area. A team of people were hand drying the car after it left the car wash conveyor. They do a good job of polishing the windows, etc. so it's worth it to go to their location. They are friendly and seemed to care about making us happy. Next week, we'll return with both cars because they're offering a 50% discount of all their car wash prices. I wonder if William will be there to escort me to my shiny car - oh, how quickly I've become spoiled! read more

I've been to the Pompano Beach location at least a handful of times in the past few months and except for a couple of hiccups, this car wash really is the best one in the entire Fort Lauderdale/Pompano/Oakland Park etc area! Everyone from the customer service people who take your car, the ones who vacuum and wipe it down, drive it to and from where it needs to go and of course the people at the end who make it look show room ready for you! And we cannot forget the ladies and gentlemen inside who we pay (even if we do have the unlimited!) and get change from because DO NOT FORGET TO TIP!!! I have been coming to this car wash for quite some time. They used to offer a $9.99 special, but did not see that on their menu this time. They were also not offering car detailing the day I went as they didnt have anyone on hand to do the detailing. I paid for the $22 (roughly) wash which cleans the exterior as well as vacuum, clean dash, and windex windows. The vacuum job was sub par as there was visible things that needed to be vacuumed. I also had to re clean the dash and cup holder when I got home because it wasnt cleaned properly. An employee exited the car wash into the drying area with another customers car. As he was pulling out he said the vehicle shot into drive crashing into 5 cars that were being serviced (drying vehicles). We found out later he was an Asst Mgr. One of those vehicles was my vehicle with a total damage of 10k. The Regional manager refused to pay the estimate provided and tells to call my insurance company. I had to lawyer up and in turn the vehicle was repaired by Sparkling Image for 10k. They also wanted to cut my rental off by a week to soon. Attempting to leave me without a car. My lawyer called them. I had the rental until my car was repair. This occurred in 2023. Never went back again. My car was damaged so badly. I thought I had suicide doors on a Lincoln Continental. My moral, they damaged my car and I almost got screwed. RM, wanted me to use his guy. Now I know what kind of terrible! Job they would have done. I rated the predecessor operator of this oil change/car wash location Simoniz, with a lowly Yelp 2 stars. The new operator, Sparkling Image Car Wash, isn't that much better; in fact much the same. The oil change is the same but I use it as it generally turns out to be less expensive and time consuming than having it done at a dealership. However for Sparkling Image I'm going to go 3 Yelp Stars as their car washing (included without extra charge with an oil change) is decidedly superior to that of what was Simoniz. read more

If you've never been here, your car goes through an automatic car wash and then the staff does a light cleaning right after, washing windows, cleaning wheels (if you buy that package) etc. Full detail also available. And oil changes. For Mother's Day and Father's Day, they offer wash booklets. Five washes for the price of three. Coupons never expire and can be used at any location. Good deal!
