We stopped in for a pizza with the kids and the arcade to beat the rain while camping in old forge. The pizza is a nice blend of NY thin crust, sweet sauce, and not as spongy as what we see in Buffalo. For wings outside of Buffalo, they were very well dressed and served correctly (blue cheese with chunks of blue cheese). The staff were also great and knowledgeable while addressing questions with our daughter's food allergies. Our daughters loved the old school arcade from our childhood with tickets and games we grew up with. Will definitely stop by again the next time we are in town. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Not a single employee was wearing gloves. They were grabbing handfuls of cheese and wiping their hands on their aprons and then cashing people out and repeating it. The woman behind the counter was one of the people I've ever met in my life. This was like stepping back in time. We stopped for the arcade, this review is for the arcade. This arcade still operates off of quarters and tickets. With that type of operation and us stopping in 30 minutes before close, we were able to see the struggles. Put a $20 in the change machine. Was given $17.50. The machine ran out of quarters. The staff member gave us bonus quarters while we waited for the machine to be filled. 3 machines broke while we were using them - all running out of tickets. The staff were able to correct the issues immediately. The prize area was limited but the staff there was very nice and encouraging. Even after we were past closing time and the kids couldn't decide on prizes. Ticket and non ticket games available. Restrooms are clean. We had fun while at this location. There was a long line for ice-cream and it was closed by the time we left. read more

Nostalgia & amazing pizza. This is a pizzeria and ice cream spot that is prime real estate for any family expedition into Old Forge. Situated on main street it offers I door and outdoor seating and a large old school arcade with amazing old school games. The service is horrible. The people that work there completely ignored us for over a hour and immediately closed without any help. The bathrooms are completely disgusting. Save your $$$ my family and I have been going to the pizzeria for many years. We spent the day in the area and planned to stop on our way home. We arrived and ordered our pizza and was told 30-35 minutes. We sat outside and patiently waited. I went back in 30 minutes later and the pizza was done. I was expecting a square pizza like what we have ordered in the past but received a round one. Ok, they changed a little but no big deal. I took one look at the pizza and was trying to be optimistic but it was disgusting. Pizza crust tastes like it was premade, barely any sauce and the cheese has no flavor. I should have stopped at a store and purchased a Digiorno pizza because that would have tasted better. It's unfortunate because our family was looking forward to this pizza. It's my understanding that this business is under new management. If you purchase a business and keep using the same name as the previous owners and want the same reputation, don't change anything. I suspect that after this year, they will be closed for good. I will not go back. read more

We came here during camping trips when I was a child. I was excited to share the experience with my child now. But no arcade with off season. The pizza was still delicious though. Although it tastes better after a day at enchanted forest. Hopefully be back in the summer to show him the arcade. Simple vibes and service is decent. read more

First time we ordered pizza/wings under new management. We ordered a large pizza and a dozen wings. The good: the wings were very good- tasty and crispy as ordered. The bad: the pizza was pretty terrible. The crust was an over baked, hard, and was premade, not fresh. The toppings were non-existent at best, there was very little visible sauce and cheese and frankly it looked like an old pizza that had been reheated. We each had a piece and threw the rest out. so disappointing, especially for the price. This was the first time we ordered and they are new, so we will try again, but a lot of improvement needs to happen before we would make this a regular stop. read more

I have been coming to this place for many years. Sadly there was new ownership and this place went down and hit rock bottom. We always loved to come and get pizza, wings, beer, and go in the arcade. We ordered a PLAIN CHEESE PIZZA and they gave us a pizza WITH EVERY SINGLE TOPPING POSSIBLE. The pizza was absolutely horrible and there were workers arguing in the back. We saw people come in to get ice cream because of the GIGANTIC ICE CREAM CONE ON THE ROOF you would think they have ice cream but NO they don't. This place is horrendous read more

You can just walk in and order by the slice and hope they have what you want but you're much better off calling in your order! We always like ordering it to-go then eating down by the water! My family has been coming to old forge for 20 years for a summer vacation and each year, we would go to ADK pizzeria for pizza, wings and games the first night of our vacation. We continued our tradition this year and it was a terrible experience. The guy who took our order seemed annoyed that we were there. We ordered a cheese pizza and wings.. when we got the pizza, we were disappointed that it was a round pizza (used to be square) and it came with a bunch of toppings that we didnt order. We were all hungry so we ate the pizza but it was pretty blah.. wings were slightly better but not worth the $. While we ate outside, a number of people tried to order and were turned away at 730 because they were closing at 9pm.. on a Friday night!?!?! We also witnessed the man and woman working arguing with each other.. We tried to order a pitcher of beer to wash down the substandand pizza but they no longer serve beer. They also no longer serve ice cream. So no more ice cream.. no beer.. no good pizza any more.. and the service was poor. We absolutely loved this place but the new owners dont know what they are doing. Ps - take the giant ice cream cone off the roof if you dont actually sell ice cream. read more

Not too bad one of the better pizzas in the area. They have pizza, subs, ice cream and then they do have an arcade for your entertainment. The place was clean service was fast, prices are OK have in mind that it is a tourist stop so it can be quite crowded at times. 5/26/2024 @ approx. 4 pm. After a long day of enjoying the local area with my adult children and grandchild, we thought we'd go get ice cream and pizza to finish off the wonderful day before a 2 hour drive home. We had driven by this pizzeria earlier in the day. We had 2 cars and parked in the spots to the left of the bldg. We thought we saw an ice cream window under a green awning, on the right side of the bldg. My daughter and granddaughter walked pass the front entrance to try to get to the right side of the bldg. I was just about in front of the bldg., just before the covered seating area. My wife and sons had not even made it to front of the bldg. A man standing there, pointing to our cars, tells me that we can't park where we parked because it's private property. I apologized and said we thought it was part of the pizzeria and he said that it did belonged to them. I told him we were there to get ice cream and pointed to the green awning on the right side of the bldg. and said we were heading there. His response was, "You guys looked like you were going to walk down the street." Never apologizing, he turned around and said we'd have to go inside if we wanted ice cream. Stupid me, went inside instead of just leaving. The man was standing behind the register. They only had 4 flavors left, of which was not what we wanted, my daughter said to just leave, so we left. I don't know why I was just about to spend my money there anyways. Thinking about it, the man had to have been standing there just waiting for us because he was about 20' from the front door and I did not see him come out to confront us. But as soon as he did, he went right back inside. I'm 52, I've never felt prejudged or racially profiled like this, that's why it kind of caught me off guard. If my whole family had walked past his shop, yes, I can see him saying something but we were in front of his shop. We were having a great family day until this guy ruined our day. First time in Old Forge and probably our last time too. Maybe people do park there and go elsewhere but I don't know how he's going to confront everyone that parks there in the way he confronted us. It's OK if this guy disputes this confrontation, it'll only reinforce what I think of his character. read more

3.5 stars... I can't say much about their food or ice cream but they have one of the two arcades in Old Forge (or in the central Adirondack area in general), and as an adult I preferred this one. It's not the biggest or best arcade I've ever been to by far but they did have a row of the largest and most vintage skeeball machines I've ever seen (and for only 25 cents a game I could play all day). Unfortunately out of the 10 skeeball machines they had, 7 were out of order. They also had a pretty old air hokey table (75 cents) which worked like a charm (the other arcade at Calypso's Cove didn't have air hockey). They also had a few pinball machines and some vintage games like Ms Pac Man (something they also didn't have at Calypso's Cove). Between the large cavernous space and the bare wooden walls you couldn't get more old school then this place which is why most of the screaming kids end up at Calypso's and even though they didn't have all the glitz and glamor of a modern arcade it was definitely a worthy visit before or after a movie at the Strand (or just something to do on a rainy day). read more

This pizza and food is okay. But it's Old Forge so really, okay is a good thing. Nt exactly a food paradise. However - while most go to the Pied Piper for their sugar fix- any established Old Forge traveler should know that the raspberry sundae at Adirondack Pizza (ice cream on the side of te building) is the best dish here or at the pied piper. Lastly - the arcade. Not great but it's an arcade and you'll have it all to yourself! Can't go wrong. read more
