It's Mexican restaurant located in La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. The outside area is very pretty and gets a good view of the sunset, trees and mountains. Service was great, there was a guy who we spoke to and we asked him if they had a spicier salsa. He was very accommodating and came back and gave us such a flavorful spicy salsa that we loved. Love the outdoor setup here, live entertainment centered in the resort. Margaritas were good but light, could have been stronger! The food was great from the salsa and guacamole, chicken and steak fajitas but the hamachi plate was not the best, which was similar to an aguachiles. They effortlessly provide impeccable and attentive service while creating an atmosphere of joy and fun. It is virtually impossible to not have a great time when these two are behind the bar. They make excellent drinks, are rigorously organized, provide checks promptly, and provide guests with a vibrant and fun experience. In short, they are the ultimate bar hosts. For two people, we ordered the Adobe Salad and the enchiladas verde and chicken fajita. No kidding, the salad and chips satiated my appetite before the large entrees arrived. Food was great. Good, but expensive. We dined outside, which was great in April, while a two-piece band played--they really sealed the deal as far as ambiance. The service was terrific- a server and a busser for each table, and they were very attentive. The food, well it is cost concerning. As for the food, our table had a variety of items, rice, beans, chicken enchiladas, seafood enchiladas, carne asada, steak. My wife and I split a braised short rib, which I will say was fantastic. Fall-apart tender and very tasty. The drinks are expensive, very expensive. Chips, salsa and guacamole were all solid. I didn't see the bill, we were treated, but the tab for nine of us was probably in the $700 range, which for a fine dining establishment i could see, but for a Mexican Restaurant, hard to swallow. I'm a regular here and I came with my friends and I dont know what the hell happen? Man. There must be a full moon or something. We sit and chill with our drinks and our cigars and enjoy the music and the nice weather. Then the manager, Heriberto approaches us again and supposedly helps move our drink to another area. He just moved our stuff to another table. Look if you politely ask us to move again. We would do it but you approach with disrespect and talk to us like we are children? GTFOH! You are rude, disrespectful, you singled us out, and you do not even know the smoking policy. You tell me first that we cannot smoke. Then you tell us we can smoke cigarettes but not a cigar. WTF? That is so contradictory. I understand maybe he hasn't had the training or maybe a mental midget but the policy is you can smoke 15 feet away from the door. GEEZ! So I call front desk and speak to Tara who is the manager and she states 15 feet from the door. Thank you Tara for your assistance. Then this person named Erika comes and tells me that Tara doesnt know what she is talking about and shes new and she doesnt know the policy and tells me she going to email her and correct her. WTF is going on tonight. There is no full moon tonight. LOL! I shouldn't be treated like this. So I go back to Tara and I ask her if she is The Manager. Why would you talk down on your personell especially when its internal? THE GOOD: I really appreciate you Tara for coming with Alberto and talking to us. We stopped in on our first night of vacation a few weeks back. The service was quick and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food as well. My only negative on this experience was the drinks. When you pay $18 for a margarita and it's watery and doesn't taste like it has any alcohol in it it's pretty disappointing. We did love the tacos and other food though so that part is a plus. Love the sounds of the fountain and stream that cascades all the way to the bottom patio Now, onto the food, the most important part My wife and I shared the following: Free chips and salsa (5 Stars). The chips were ok, nothing special but the salsa was amazing. Not your usual red salsa. It was a mixture of pureed roasted tomatoes, chillies and the rest. It was very thick, so it easily plied up on the chips and didn't run off. A sign of a good salsa. It was one of the best salsas I've had and for free! Tableside Guacamole (4 Stars $20). I didn't know the price when I ordered to go with our free chips, so I think they got their money back on the free chips and salsa. Also I didn't know it was "table side", until I saw the cart they made it on, but far from our table. I'm taking 1 star away for not making it next to our table. I think they should take off $5 for not making it table side. $15 is still high for guacamole, but more in line with the other non protein apps. Really should be $12. Anyways, the guacamole is really good, but I'm not sure if I would order again. Empanadas (5 Stars $16) one of the best empanadas dish I've had. They put queso fresco and sour cream over, served with warm tomatillo salsa, just awesome. And they have this side slaw (cabbage, cilantro and tomatoes) in this amazing lime dressing, not even mentioned on the menu. So good! Skirt Steak Fajitas (4 Stars $32) The steak was cooked perfect, very tender, good amount of onions and peppers. The onions and peppers were cooked perfectly, caramelized but not overly so they still had a bite. Servered with guacamole, sour cream, beans and rice. All the side were just ok, nothing special (minus 1 Star). The rice and beans were just standard stuff, kinda disappointed. However you can really tell the difference between the table side guacamole and the regular stuff. The tortilla were really good, but only 3. For the amount of meat served, not sure how 3 would be enough. Had to order another around, they charged me $2.50. You would think it would be included, since the price of the dish was $32, but oh well. It was good overall! Until next time... read more

This was a wonderful place to sit outside on a nice evening. There are multiple levels and you look out over the check in area of the hotel, but it is far enough away that all you see is the levels and lots of flowers and activity. They have great Cadillac margaritas and the service is spot on. Menu is fairly typical, but everything is done with a little extra spice which is nice for a change. A lot of Mexican food is "steam table" , but this has just the right kick. I would highly recommend on a nice evening. read more

Came here Saturday night for date night and it did not disappoint! Love that they expanded their outdoor section due to covid. Now the tables go all around the fountain and they have a live band playing. Ambiance is amazing and so was the food. I got the fajitas and a cosmo and they were great. We were in Palm Springs for a quick golf getaway. Found Adobe Grill on Yelp, made reservations for 6:30 dinner. Upon arrival, we had some difficulty finding the restaurant (literally a hidden gem). Once we figured out the restaurant was on the second floor, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately. They practice safety and use masks. Drinks were taken promptly and chips and salsa were offered. The chips are to die for, they are literally made and served, so good! Salsa was tasty and not too spicy. We ordered a guacamole appetizer to go with our chips and salsa..the show was an added bonus, made fresh at table side. We had 4 in our party. The guys had fajitas and tacos. Both were an abundant amount of food. Very tasty and authentically made. Tortillas were hot and so yummy! The gals had the short rib entree. OMG! The meat was very tender and VERY tasty! We couldn't finish the meal because we had a few margaritas too! Overall we were super happy we found Adobe Grill, a true hidden gem. Will definitely be back when we are in Palm Springs. read more

Overpriced and not worth it. I came for brunch with 9 other girls, as we were celebrating a bachelorette party in Palm Springs. We came on Saturday around 1 pm, and the whole restaurant was almost completely empty. We had called ahead to make a reservation, but we definitely didn't need one. The restaurant itself looks lovely. It's painted with bright colors and has a large patio area if you want to dine outside. The menu is extensive, but we were told we could only order food from the brunch menu. I guess everything else is for regular weekday lunch and dinners only? I went with the Adobe Omelet for $21, which includes roasted rajas (poblano pepper), onions, chorizo, and oaxaca cheese, and comes with avocado and roasted potatoes on the side. I love omelettes, but I was extremely disappointed when it came out. It was the smallest omelette I've ever gotten at a restaurant, which doesn't make sense given the $$$ price tag. It looked like they used two eggs to make it, if even that. On top of that, the omelette wasn't even that good as the eggs were pretty overcooked. Also, there were barely any potatoes on the plate. I counted maybe 5-6 whole pieces, and these were some of the smallest potato pieces I've gotten on the side. Overall, my whole place just looked sad. I was pretty hungry since I hadn't eaten anything all morning, but thank goodness there was plenty of complimentary chips and salsa to fill my stomach. I know it's a resort restaurant, but come on, that doesn't mean you can't skimp on quality but still charge $$$. read more
