I was so incredibly stressed out, and I felt bad about arriving to their shop within 45 minutes of them closing. Right away Ricardo saw my stress and was compassionate and thoughtful in managing my expectations for the car. By closing time, they had a diagnosis that it was totaled, but they gave me another ~45 minutes to gather my things and make travel arrangements. The whole team I interacted with was very compassionate and kind to me throughout this process. They even offered to hold my car for a couple of days to allow me to get back home safely and make arrangements for a tow. Thank you pep boys at Lakewood Blvd! I asked why they didn't call their customers to notify them and was told it was last minute then I was offered a 10% discount. What a joke.
