Went in today to drop off my battery to get it recharged purchased from this location about two weeks ago, dropped it off at 8:59 AM came back at 12 noon to pick up my battery. Took it back home and the battery is still dead. Make sure to ask the associates to test the battery on the percentage of the battery so that you will save some time in having to bring the battery back. Bought spark plugs from this store to replace on my Toyota Yaris IA. The supervisor on duty tried to upsell me on the plugs I wanted (which were matched to spec of the vehicle). I figured after she said, "I'm not trying to upsell you, but these are for BMWs and not Toyotas." Forget the fact the the ones she "recommended" were the same thread, gap, reach, and brand as the ones I purchased. She wanted me to spend twice the amount per plug. Even the Autozone site says my choice and her "recommendation" would fit the Yaris IA. Before the sale was finalized, she made a final attempt at the upsell and said, "Just to let you know, if you hear a tapping that means they're the wrong size and we can't return them." Found out later the Customer Service Managers and GMs are on commission. If you want to upsell someone: Pitch benefits and quality rather than lie about specs. Moral of the story: 1. These are NOT mechanics, and 2. Don't take any kind of advice from the woman with dyed red hair. read more

Thanks to Sienna I got confirmation that my car battery is low and needs to be charged. Since Tuesday, my car didn't turn on. I kept trying and it turned on after 15 minutes. Once I got it to turn on, it was struggling after that. Yesterday, I took it to the Autozone off Passons and Whittier. The associate that helped me out there said that my battery passed the test. I now wonder if she didn't know what she was doing or didn't want to bother helping me out :/. She just told me to clean the battery corrosion. I did that once I got home. After that, the car continued to struggle to turn on, so, l needed a second opinion. I went to this Autozone where I got the confirmation that I needed. I knew something was up. Thank you Sienna !! You can use thier parts guide to match parts for your vehicle and be in and out in no time. Near freeways and major streets and very near bank, burger joints, grocery, gas, post office, auto, uhaul, fried chicken, pizza, chinese, mexican and more. This is not the biggest autozone but you should be able to find a part from thier huge stock. The parking is plenty as its in the main plaza across from Subway. The customer service people behind the counter can usually help you locate items using thier computer. I usually look for sales or compare pricing with the other big 3 auto-parts places for individual consumers. I may be back soon to buy parts for one of my regular maintenances. read more

Chris the manager was very helpful he came out of his way to help me with break light. He didn't complain or anything when I asked if he can assist me. He helped me make sure it was the break light and he even came out with a tool box and was able to fix it. I appreciate that he made sure that my light bulb was fixed and safe for me to drive. This store is a disgrace to the Autozone brand- I needed to return a tool I had purchased online and following Autozone's website instructions went to my nearest store to get it done; I got to this store and immediately was told that this tool was considered a "final sale"; I said OK, then called the 800 AUTOZONE number to verify this, they asked for my order number, pulled up my information and was given a return authorization number, said to go back to the store and give them these numbers and they should be able to get my refund taken care of; I even asked the customer service representative if he could stay on the line in case there were any issues to which he agreed, thank you for that! I go back in the store and ask for my refund they still tell me they can't issue a refund?? What? I have the customer service representative on the line telling you it is authorized and to issue a refund!!! So then the lady at the front desk asks if I had used the tool, I said no, and instead of helping me out with the refund, she proceeded to grab a new unit from the wall and open it to try and prove that I did use it??? I tell the Autozone customer service representative that I am having issues at this store and that I will try a different one. The level of customer service at this store is laughable, I mean what else do you want from me? I pretty much did all the work for you, all you have to do is punch in the numbers I am giving you and get my refund going? But no you're more worried about proving a customer wrong that try to help them out!!! I then went to the store at 11855 Whittier Blvd and they took care of the refund without any issues; it is amazing the things people can accomplish if they would just listen. read more

I went in a few weeks ago and was helped by the wonderful Alfred, who made my experience so smooth and informative I bought my first car a few months ago and with little family help and no prior car knowledge Alfred went out of his way to explain How to do maintenance on my car and he walked me through the changing of my battery. Called a few minutes ago to see if they had a certain type of oil for my Honda Accord the Young women I spoke to was very nice I over heard a gentlemen in the background saying that I could pay over the phone since I would be going Since would be going during my lunch break. They didn't have the filter at this store. When I called back to place the order Sebastian said that they do t do this anymore. I explained that I had just called about 10 minutes ago. I made an account to write this review. I am a man with a bad leg and use an electric skateboard to help me get around. I needed a special fuse for my skateboard and could not ride it to the store and had to walk there with it and lost the fuse cap before I got to the store. The manager Alfred helped me find new parts, loaned me tools to fix it, and I fixed my skateboard right on the spot. I would not have been able to make it home without his help because I lost the cap and my leg was hurting very badly. Thanks Alfred! read more

I got great service when my car battery was dead. They replaced it for me, although they were going to take my old on I later found out it was being drained by something that was left plugged in in my car inside the center console cigarette lighter (it stays on after car is off) (by a friend) So i think my old battery is still good as long as it's not being drained anymore. But i kept my new one with 5 year warranty just in case :) I kinda wish they did a little more detective work as to why my battery was dying out of nowhere, or maybe even made a little more conversation, rather than just telling me yes your battery is dead and taking it away. The people at this autozone are extremely helpful and cool. My car broke down and one of the employees (I forgot his name but he was in his late teens maybe early twenties) charged my battery since it was completely drained due to a bad alternator, then another employee named Rene exchanged my alternator since my bad one was still under warranty. I replaced it in the parking lot and when I had to put the serpentine belt back on I couldn't figure out how, but Rene showed me a picture of how the belt is setup on my car, which helped me out alot! I don't usually write reviews but I felt I really had to for AutoZone. I came in on Tuesday night super worried about my car battery. I needed it to be checked because I possibly needed a new one. Steve G was super nice and answered all my dumb questions and generally they have a rule that after dark they can't go out and check cars which I totally understand. But Alfred the stores night manager obviously saw how desperate I was and allowed it just once. Steve came out and helped me out by testing my old battery and installing my new one.
