Do not buy batteries from them! I used the battery for 1 year and it started to loose the charge over night. Try to return it they told me it's because of my car! I visited your store yesterday. It was the first time in many years. I needed a particular fuse for my steering wheel assembly; but I wasn't sure which one. Fortunately your employee Tim was extremely helpful. As the fuse size wasn't readily apparent online, he offered to have a look under the hood to verify which one was needed. This location is very customer-friendly. David took the time just before close to explain how to change my headlight on my new car. Exceeding expectations, he attended until the headlight was successfully changed. Driving a red Stinger at night with a headlight that's out is the last thing I need, especially just before my bday. Had a bad battery on my 2018 Chevy Impala. I called ahead of time to check if they had any in stock, and I spoke with Dan on the phone who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I often visit this advanced auto part. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are able to locate parts quickly and provide choices. Was in there today and purchased an air filter. Same one was selling at autozone for about 5-7 dollars more. Thanks Advanced Auto Part. Also I would always check online to see if they have online codes for sales. I have a battery from Advanced that is 2 years old. It was going bad but thankfully it was still under warranty. I went here after they didn't have the battery at the Schaumburg location. They weren't all that friendly but they did install the battery pretty quick. read more

I really can't think of a reason to give you guys less than five stars. I think that's a good thing. Around 8:30pm on a Saturday, the night before I was leaving on a road trip, I realized that my headlight was out. I am not good with these sort of things. So, at my sister's urging, I called Advanced Auto Parts to see if they were still open and if they could help me. They told me come on in. Not only did they have the part needed, the gentleman took the time to replace the headlight for me and check the air in my tires because they were squeaking (front right ended up needing air). As a woman, alone in the evening, I did not feel uncomfortable like I have at other places before. These guys were courteous, helpful and good at their jobs. A week or so later, the same group of helpful employees helped my husband with replacing a part on his car as well. Don't hesitate to stop in here if you need help with your car. read more

Unless your Spanish you will wait a long time to be waited on. Poor customer service ( maybe cause I'm not a regular customer) but been there many times. No thank you said at all and no phone call if your part came in unless you call them. Horrible horrible horrible. Terrible Customer service. I was overcharged by over $50 by a clerk (Jim) on an order and when I went back to the store to dispute it, the clerk said only the manager, Louie, could help. I went back 3 days later when he was there (he's only there like 2 days a week). He refused to help me. He offered me a paper "voucher" in the form of his business card with a signature that was only good at his store and for less than 1/2 the value that I was overcharged. When I complained and asked if it would be accepted even if he wasn't there, he dismissed my concerns and I was forced to buy overpriced parts right away out of fear the "voucher" wouldn't be accepted later. I even called customer service and they (in a rude tone of voice) asked me why I took so long to contact them and said they wouldn't do anything. Lesson learned, the staff at this store is ill trained and not completely honest. Always check your receipts as they will cheat you if they can. I'm never going back and will stick to Amazon/Rock Auto and Autozone. They are all way friendlier and honest. read more

I would NEVER buy another part there! Worst customer service ever and I'm very disappointed! I recently purchased a fuel pump from Advance Auto Parts. After 25 days it stopped working. Went to the store to return it, because I purchased much better and cheaper one on Amazon. Manager Louie Gonzalez and assistant manager Fil Galati would not return my money back and I had my receipt with me! Advance Auto return policy "Refunds with Receipt" section clearly says that I can return my item within 90 days for the full refund. What a horrible customer service! On Saturday 11/25/17 I was in need of someone to check the battery in my car. I looked on the internet to fine a store that could help me. A lot of store will not replace the battery in your car.
