I had such a troublesome day starting bright and early with a dead car battery, you can imagine the hoops I jumped through just to get to work and arrange rides all day long. I got off of work and went to advanced auto parts to purchase a new battery and BRITTANY offered to come to where my car was unmovable and install the battery, without me even having to ask. we laughed, we joked and she was very professional and did a damn good job! I have no complaints, I hope her pillow is always cold and she always gets a window seat on airplanes. I won't go to any other auto part shop unless it's this one and she's working. a phenomenal employee. I've been telling everyone about her. 10/10. I'll go back just to purchase an air freshener from her. read more

I needed special motor oil (0W- or 5W-40 for Euro cars), and apparently, these suckers are not easy to find these days: another victim of the endless supply-chain issues? That maybe, but I did not expect an experience like this. I'd searched at Costco, where you could usually get these synthetic oils for about $35 for a 6-pack (cheaper when on sale), but they didn't have that grade. Searching online yielded several options - so, I happily placed an order. An hour later, I got a mysterious email saying my order had been cancelled, and I went, wait: who's messing with me? Reading closer, I discovered it was Advance that cancelled it, saying they were out. I indicated the store when I did the search, which, in this day and age (you'd think) would mean up-to-the-minute inventory. It was a disappointment any way you look at it. read more

The manager named Emily is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered I come to the store often and every time I walk in she gives me a dirty look and doesn't even say hi or anything. When i bring my stuff to the The counter she walks up, still not greeting me whatsoever scans my stuff gives me a receipt and walks away. I am shocked she is manager. Gary greets everyone includes me and is extremely courteous and nice seems like this store has its employees positions backwards. I honestly hope I never have to check out with Emily. read more

I went twice last week, once to get a wiper blade and once to pick up an online order for an air filter. The same guy helped me both times, and he really needs to work on his customer service skills. I'm assuming he's probably the same guy who people have said was rude in previous reviews. I tried to look for his name on my receipts but they only give an ID code for the cashier. I'll make sure to look next time. I know how to install my own blades and air filters, but previously I have always been asked if I would like assistance installing them. Not from this guy. He acted like it was a bother just to ring me up. Younger guy, probably late 20's, early 30's? Not positive. The store is a convenient location for me, and they have decent prices, especially if you sign up for their rewards programs - they often email about discounts. I was able to get 25% off my filter. I would have done the same for the wiper blade but it was a bit of an emergency situation as the old one was just coming off in pieces. I'm really hoping this location does some customer service training with this guy, or hires someone new who is nicer. read more

My son bought a battery gold plus for my car over a year ago, buying all the extras ($200 total) to make sure the warranty was covered for 3 years since I'm disabled. Well, on Sunday, February 14, the battery died while I was doing errands and it was very humid & hot that day. After 2 hours of calling & waiting for AAA, I called Advanced auto parts to let them know I was coming to replace the dead battery (I had the warranty & receipt), and I was placed on hold for several minutes. Eventually, I was connected and explained my situation and the man with the flippant attitude made it clear that if the battery isn't dead, they would not replace. I reiterated the warranty I held in my hand but he didn't change his attitude. When I got there, I was hot, tired, looking very disheveled being in the heat and again, on a cane due to my disability. I waited in line and then an African American man called me over. I explained my matter again and gave him my warranty & receipt; he uncaringly stated their procedure so we went to my car. He tested the battery & asked me about AAA & testing my dead battery? I told him I didn't buy a battery from AAA, they just jumped my car. AAA guy said the battery was completely DEAD. This guy then told me my battery wasn't dead & they were going to recharge this one. I demanded firmly I wanted a new battery and refused to just have a charge on this dead battery and endanger my driving being disabled. He ARGUED WITH ME and REFUSED to give me a new battery. I was dumbfounded that this guy was seriously having a fight with me and then the other guy behind the counter started screaming and told us both to shutup. I demanded a chair because I was in pain with my disability and was told it would be 40 minutes to recharge my battery. I am almost getting ready to call the police due to this harassing behavior OVER A BATTERY THAT I HAD A WARRANTY AND RECEIPT. Next, they come around the corner and said, your battery is dead so we are replacing it. I WAS FUMING AND LIVID; as a person who has managed for 45 years before becoming disabled, I have never experienced such harassment and that these 2 guys had NO sympathy or caring attitude whatsoever that were on a mission to destroy my day with their empowerment to not give me a replacement battery, no matter what. DO NOT GO INTO THIS PLACE...FOR ANY REASON, BUT ESPECIALLY FOR A BATTERY. It's an investment that you need to go to a reputable place WHO CARES AND HONORS THEIR WARRANTIES THAT YOU "PAY" FOR. This place is an EMBARRASSMENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE...especially THE DISABLED. read more

Todd you're an auto parts receptionist not a mechanic. You shouldn't give advice out of your spectrum of knowledge or make accusations that are totally bias based off your own perception. You're also a customer service representative for advance and your quality of representation is the poorest I have ever encountered. The bitter sarcasm, rude disrespectful attitude just reflects your character. I'll never shop here again nor recommend advance auto. read more

Convenient location located off 434 and close to were I am around, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and prices are not bad. Not much to say about this place except it offers things for your car and even batteries they will change for you. This was my second time at this location and have never had a bad experience here,easy to spot from the road and good hours. read more

Unfortunately my first time trying this store out was not a success and honestly has turned me away from going back. The two men working behind the counter were not friendly at all (actually one of them sat in a chair leaning up against a shelf for most of the time we were there.) When we mentioned that we needed another item, they didn't even tell us what isle it was on or didn't even help us to it. (There was no other customers in the store!) I was in a happy mood, which I always am but the man that was having to ring my purchase up was nowhere close to being happy and I even got a few grunts and eye rolls. There was no music playing so it made it feel very eerie and it was just an all around uncomfortable visit. We won't be back. read more
