I was told my brakes and tires needed replacing, and as I commute long distances I wanted to make sure my vehicle was well equipped to handle winter conditions on the LIE. After my inspection was finished, I was quoted $1,079 for the brake replacement, new tires and the inspection, but when I went to pick up my car, I was charged in two installments (as the repairs took place on separate days) and the total was nearly $1,400--almost $320 more than what I was told the total would come out to be. To make matters worse, they removed my front license plate covers and replaced them with their own advertising covers without asking for my permission. Not only was I upset by the unauthorized advertising on my vehicle, but they also put my front license plate on upside down. (See attached photo for proof.) The final straw was hearing my brakes grinding after they had supposedly replaced them. This was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling taken advantage of. I had hoped to find a trustworthy auto shop for future service needs close to work, but instead, I feel like this place took advantage of my situation as a young woman needing an inspection. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend you get a second opinion before trusting this business with your vehicle.

Yesterday my car died…read more Straight up DIED-- On the highway on my way to work, smoke was coming out from under the hood, and the car started slowing down by itself. I pulled over, shut the car off, calmed myself down, tried to turn it back on... and it wouldn't start back up. After I got a ride to work (which is another story in itself), had my car towed from off the highway, and had it looked at... I was told the motor was blown. That's definitely not worth the money to fix. My car was now a piece of scrap metal, ready for the junk yard. In comes T-Rex Recycling. They made this distressing and inconvenient situation go away as quickly and as smoothly as possible. They picked my car up directly from the auto shop, helped me get my stuff out of my car, took the plates off for me, and gave me $100 cash for the junk car. All I had to do was sign the paperwork. I'll definitely be using T-Rex in the future for all my junking needs... although I hope I never have to. RIP Bangin' Wagon-- you were good while you lasted.

So, I did a Google search to find a place that would buy it and tow it away the same day. After making several calls to other places, I called T-Rex and they were the only ones who would come the same day, tow it away at no charge to me AND they paid me more than the 3 other places I had called! Very professional, knowledgable, and prompt. They even called me when they were close by to let me know they were on time. I highly recommend this company and would use them again!

And again excellent service There's other places in queens that think they know how to do work on pick up trucks but there's zero comparison with TNA Who knows maybe one day I'll have them supercharge my tundra

That tow company lied repeatedly about their ETA 3x that I was stuck on the side of the highway for over 3 hours. Finally I cancelled and decided to look online for local companies to call myself. Hendrickson came to my rescue within 40 minutes. They were kind, professional, and helpful. Exactly what you would expect and want from a service. I wish I called them sooner; I was so pleased with their prompt service. If anyone I know experiences car trouble on the road and needs a tow, this is the first -and probably only- company I'd recommend.
