    Saved by Cordale - A True Professional…read more I visited the Advance Auto Parts store at 3345 Centerville Hwy, Snellville, GA, on July 23, 2025. As a regular customer at this location, I've always appreciated the knowledgeable and hospitable staff. However, during this visit, I encountered an unfortunate situation at checkout. One of the items I selected rang up at a higher price than advertised. I politely informed the cashier that the price was incorrect and offered to show him the shelf where I found the product. Upon review, it was clear that two identical items were marked at $9.99, and one was still on the shelf at that price. The cashier acknowledged the pricing mismatch but instead of offering an apology or correcting the error, he rudely suggested that other customers may have moved the product and insisted he would not honor the $9.99 price. He then moved the item to the $14.99 section and continued the conversation with an unprofessional and dismissive tone. At this point, it wasn't about the $5 difference--it was about principle and the integrity of a store I've supported for years. Fortunately, another cashier, Cordale, walked up during the exchange and asked what was going on. After I explained, he listened attentively, apologized sincerely for the confusion, and proceeded to check me out--honoring the original shelf price. Cordale's professionalism and customer-first attitude completely turned the situation around and reaffirmed my loyalty to this store. As a hobbyist auto mechanic, I've spent thousands of dollars at this location--despite living closer to an AutoZone. Cordale's approach is exactly why I've continued to return. On the other hand, the cashier involved in the initial interaction would benefit greatly from training in customer service and conflict resolution. His dismissive attitude reflects poorly on the brand. I will continue shopping at this location but will make every effort to avoid being assisted by that particular cashier. Advance Auto Parts corporate should sincerely thank and recognize Cordale for upholding the standard of service that keeps loyal customers coming back.

    No problem with service or coffee but I wonder about the gas prices constantly changing 2 to 3…read moretimes a day. Thwy are usually the highest around as it is but on this last Monday there price was $2.82 for regular so I filled up. But on Tuesday I went to get coffee like I do everyday and the gas prices for regular was $3.19 . I don't understand why they go up so fast when crude oil is at its lowest it's been for years and they still have the same gas the next day in there tanks that you paid $2.82 for the day before. I don't see other places go up so fast except Circle K which is right down the road from racetrack. Seems like they are price gouging a few days a week because usually by the weekend they'll lower it about 20 cents per gallon but by Tuesday they jack the price back up. Other than that the store is great!

I was in line to pay for fuel and snacks. there was a gentleman in front of me who went up the counter and started talking about the President was going to end up assassinated. He made some off handed comment about white people looked at me and headed out the door. The cashier he was speaking to said that the President needed to be squashed like a bug. She started to say something further but then stated she needed to keep her job. While I completely agree with folks having their first amendment and being able to speak freely. Using a place of business where they are employed as a platform to public is a very poor choice. I would imagine that corporate is more interested in profits than political rhetoric which in turn makes this location lose customers. If that is not the case then it means that either this behavior is allowed and or encouraged by the management at this store or that it is in fact condoned and encouraged by corporate. I myself as well as most people stopping in arent interested in hearing somebodies political views. We are there to make a purchase an move on. After this experience at this location I may start looking for an alternative place to take my business. AbsenT

I had never used a mobile mechanic before, and usually only go with people I personally know or large companies. I was cautious, but Alex's location on Google Maps was nearby, so I initially reached out. At the time, I couldn't get through, so I ended up going to another shop that diagnosed the issue -- but quoted me an outrageous price and told me it would take nearly a week to fix. Later, Alex followed up with a phone call and voicemail. I had already dropped the car off elsewhere but was still checking other shops for faster turnaround and better pricing. While I was trying to text the original shop, I accidentally messaged Alex instead -- which turned out to be a lucky mistake. He offered a far more reasonable quote, was understanding about my situation (I needed the car to get back to a outstate job site), and worked with me on timing. He had the job done in around 4 hours from his intial predication that he gave at the start -- right on target with the estimate he gave in my eye. Despite doing me a favor by fitting me in, he kept me updated every step of the way, even letting me know when a part he expected wasn't needed. He adjusted the final price accordingly -- since the original quote was based on a misdiagnosis from the first shop, which assumed my model had a part it didn't. Alex clearly knows his stuff. He's got the tools, the experience (over a decade in traditional shops), and the professionalism. I really appreciated his honesty, transparency, and speed. I'm definitely going to him again.
