Robert and his team came out and diagnosed electrical issues in 1/2 of our house. The team was focused and identified the issues within 3 hrs. I inquired and Robert responded promptly, called back and got me a booking within a day or so. On the day of the rep also showed up in timeframe. All very important. So that tracks great!! Pricing is a matter of subjectivity I think, though, so here is my take. (Another customer also left a review speaking to this eventuality). So $130 was the Yelp response quote and that was actually lower than a couple other flat quote bids I received at the same time and Advanced got my biz. This was for a rocker switch w/dual outlet socket, which I already figured out was just shot due to old age and wear-N-tear. What I was unsure of was SAFETY after a flip to on also resulted in an ominous pop/sizzle/electrical wire burn smell recently. The tech's diagnosis of issue was as I thought, parts were worn but supposedly the wall wiring is just fine says pro, (though the definitive answer on that still seemed a little 70/30 on surety). Hence to replace the physical light switch/outlet combo =$230. $100 added to the quote with a 10 min install. Which is to say: steel yourself as Quote isn't Cost by almost double. Is it a fair price? In my experience with electricians this is subjective. Could there be better cost be had? Maybe. Honestly I didn't feel like dealing with a haggle but if I hadn't seen another review before saying this might happen I'd have been way more irritated. So I will just say the scheduling and responsiveness were on point. And that paying someone to do what you don't is never super fun. But cost here is obviously not parts related issue, it a common part and I have had plenty of adventures at Home Depot and Lowe's electrical aisles over the years to know that price point. So it's more 'what do you really wanna spend?' and will they show up and do the work and go from there. Adding- As I said in my original review opinion on pricing is subjective. But the message I received (see attached) reads $130 for trouble shoot AND repair. But with respect to company response to my review I would just say that no significant rewiring seemed needed since wires were fine (tech said) though the light switch part was worn. Also not sure what is meant by if 'any rewiring is needed or replacement' then it's extra which was the reply to the review. That's a whole lot extra! And Electricians do touch wires, no? Sort of standard of workplace but REwiring in this context seems strong. The replacement of all the parts might be $4 w/tax at any Lowes (w/o even a contractor discount!) but was billed at $100. So anyway *IF* that's not part of a "troubleshoot/repair" then Just Say that "diagnosis = $130 + everything else is $100 or so more" in the original bid response and be done with it. Just sayin'. I needed two light fixtures replaced in a 20 foot high ceiling. Finding someone who can replace fixtures on ceilings of that height without a lift is very hard to do. He gave a low quote ($130) for diagnosing the problem and charged exorbitantly high price to do the repair. His people changed 2 breaker switches in the sub panel (which cost probably $7 each) and charged me $530. Since I am already going to pay $130 anyway I agreed. He wanted to charge me $450 for installing the Nema 1450 EV/Tesla charger plug. Fortunately, I declined that and went with an another electrician from Facebook for $300. When the other electrician came in he said that these guys charged way too high for changing 2 breaker switches which didn't resolve the original problem I had with the breaker switches. I threw away $530 for essentially nothing. Won't recommend this company for any of my friends or family and won't use this company anymore. I have some expensive electrical works coming including rewiring the entire house and changing the panel to 600 amps panel. I can readily exclude this company from any consideration, a company that preys on not well informed clients. Owner says that I am having a bad day.
