I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. Astera will be getting first crack at all of my appliance and HVAC service calls going forward.

The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

We hired the business to repair our washer. We were charged $293 for several attempts to fix it…read morewithout success. They actually should be paying for our new appliance since they broke it completely. August 2: Initial visit, repair guy said we need a new circuit board, pay 1/2 $293.35 Aug 13: Part came in & installed, washer still did not work, repair guy said we need another part, ordered with no charge to us. Aug 23 New part came in and installed, washer still did not work. Repair man took a large part off the washer and left with it to take back to shop. Washer left disassembled August 30 New two technicians arrived with returned part, informed that the original repair man was fired. the two techs took lots of pictures of washer and left. Washer even more unassembled September 3 Two techs returned, tried part again, then informed us that the washer was unfixable, said that they would refund the $293.35 Left washer unassembled with parts missing September 22 Promised the refund was coming again via text Nov. 9 Inquired again, told that we need to take it up with our bank
