Saw my GOOOMA today, she still not 100% Delayed 2 weeks because UPS damaged the passenger rear door during shipping... TWICE! I can't thank Advanced Collission enough tho for providing me a car for the next week. A compact but I upgraded to a Cadillac XTS for only $18 more per day. What the hell, why not? Can't wait to see my GOOOMA again 2008 Cadillac Escalade

Open up 7 months ago, this would be their second shop. They have another one in Waipahu. It's a Geico shop, so you know your repairs are guaranteed. Nice looking lobby! I went in because a big ole yellow pipe jumps out at me while backing up. Don't you just hate when that happens? Joe and the Geico rep were extremely helpful in squaring everything away for me. The car came back looking brand new. They even took care of some very minor body work that I had an additional to my original request. Advanced Collision were affordable and had a very professional team.

    - Located makai (ocean) side of Kawaiaha'o + Curtis St.(manini side street dat connects Kapi'olani + Kawaiaha'o). Conveniently located in Kaka'ako/downtown area - Body shop dat offers GEICO drive-in claims service (by appointment only) - Office inside has a waiting area replete w/AC, a large flat screen TV, a comfy couch and several chairs, and complimentary Menehune filtered h20. - Part of GEICO's "Guaranteed Repair Program" - if you're involved in an accident + select dis shop to fix your car, repairs are guaranteed fo' as long as you own da vehicle (sum exclusions apply, of course) -------------------- AN ASSHAT REAR-ENDED ME LAST WEEK And I was not at fault, even tho I'm female. And a driver. And Asian. I was (un)fortunate enuff fo' be part of a 5 vehicle accident involving 4 cars + 1 motorcycle about a week ago. A large SUV rear-ended me + da force was enuff fo' cause my stopped car to tap da vehicle in front of me (which was my husband's newly-purchased new-used car). Luckily, da accident was in Kapolei right befoa der X-mas parade & a fleet of a dozen HPD officers on motorbikes got to witness da whole ting. Police report was filed, registration + insurance cards were taken down, and we wen go along our merrily way. Fast forward --- once da accident was reported online (LOVE GEICO!!!), den an appointment was scheduled w/Advanced Collision + a GEICO employee who took photographs of the damage, produced an estimate of replacement parts/labor, and cut me a check. Easy jus' l'dat. I wish everting in life were so simple. REVIEW #239

Great, fast and friendly service. It's always stressful dealing with car fixing and spending money you didn't expect to spend. This place has a nice seating area when you are waiting for your pickup or your car to finish. AC and TV with comfortable couches. I had to fix my car three times in the past 5 years. They did all the repairs. I was very happy with each repair. I am happy to be a loyal customer. The owner is a nice guy and will work with you easily. Staff are always friendly and seem to be working hard every time I come in. They get a five star for the 5 years of great service! Good job guys! Thanks for everything

This review is being posted PRIOR to the work being completed on my vehicle…read more Im leaving the review with the disclaimer, that it may change. Only reason that im leaving it early is because so far, ive gotten amazing service. I am leaving a review for Mazda as well. My car is currently being worked on by SH Fender in Kaka'ako. I drive a Mazda SUV, newer model. I noticed the the roof had some bubbling happening. If you know anything about paint, you know that bubbling can only mean that you'll be in a world of debt if you let it keep going. Now, being that my car is newer, I was shocked to see the paint and roof already starting to rust. I dont take my car to the beach. I dont park at construction sites. I dont throw bird poop at it. Luckily for me, this job is being covered by the paint warranty offered by Mazda. Go me! Anyway, I dropped my car off at Mazda and it was quick to head over to SH. SH was also quick to start it -- I know this because on the same day, I got a call requesting for the key to remove my roof racks (that I stupidly forgot to hand over). That being said, after doing some research, I was super happy that SH was responsible for my car since they have excellent reviews and a friend of mine has used them before. If I could have repainted the roof black, I would have, hahaha, but I assume they'll do an amazing job on the polymetal grey. P.S. SH guys, if you want to get that scratch off my front bumper, feel free to do so HAHAHA.

I first met one of the owners of Papa Auto, Aidos, when purchasing a Honda CRV from his wife on…read moreFacebook Marketplace. During our conversation, she mentioned that Aidos owned a mechanic shop. This peaked my interest because I had a 2012 Toyota Sienna sitting at another shop for a year, waiting to get diagnosed and repaired for trouble codes 300, 301, and 303. I suspected a head gasket leak between cylinders one and three. After researching, I realized the motor would have to be removed to properly fix it. This is a massive job that requires a lift and about 20 hours of labor. I called four or five other shops, and no one was willing to touch it. Understandable, given the scope of the work involved. When I met Aidos, I asked if his shop could handle a head gasket replacement on a 2012 Sienna. He confidently said yes. I was a little skeptical because he and his wife looked very young, and every other shop had avoided this job like the plague, but he told me to bring it in anytime. I had it towed to Auto Papa the following Monday. At the shop, I met their mechanic, Adil, who also looked young. I began to wonder if they were in over their heads. But we sat down and reviewed labor, parts, and resurfacing costs. The quote was very close to what I expected, maybe a little cheaper. Adil clarified that it was a quote, and they'd know for sure once the motor was out. By Friday, Adil called me with additional issues: both lower control arms were worn and needed to be replaced, which I was actually aware of because the van would clunk after applying the brake and coming to a complete stop, and one CV axle needed to be replaced. I went to the shop to inspect Adil's findings, saw the grease splatter from the torn CV boot, and approved all the repairs. I also requested the engine mounts be replaced since the engine clunked during hard acceleration. Adil said it would be easy with the engine out and only charged me for the mounts. About a week later, I stopped by the shop for an update. Adil said he had replaced the head gasket and reinstalled the motor, but the codes were still there. He explained he would have to remove the engine again and assured me there would be no additional charges for labor. During the second removal, he discovered a cracked cylinder head and a broken valve spring. Amin, the second owner of the shop, stepped in to procure a replacement cylinder head locally, which saved time and shipping costs. I only paid for the new cylinder head itself and they did not charge me any additional labor to fix the issue. After a little less than a week later, my van was done. Overall, it took about a month to get my van back, but the shop kept me informed the entire time, physically showed me all the issues, took the time to explain what was going on and fixed any errors at no additional labor costs. Their quotes were accurate and very reasonable. In my experience, Auto Papa is honest, trustworthy, reasonably priced and truly cares about their work. I would highly recommend them for any auto repair. They also do bodywork, which I plan to use very soon for my daughter's 2009 RX350.

ALL 3 of the employees on the premises avoided me. No one even bothered to look at me. I tried to approach nicely saying excuse me, and all of them don't talk back. But no one was there and I waited with no one coming in to help me. So that is when I tried to ask the employees. I've never been here before so I wasn't sure if someone knew I was waiting since I had no appointment, per the phone call. Well, now I know to never come here.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Baba's Auto Gloss Body Shop!…read more I can confidently say Baba's Auto Gloss is hands down one of the best body shops on Oahu. I found them simply by searching for a body shop on the island, and even though I live on the complete opposite side of Oahu, choosing them was 100% worth it. From the very first phone call, I felt the difference. The professionalism, family-oriented atmosphere, and genuine aloha vibe immediately stood out. You don't feel like "just another customer" here -- you feel taken care of. They repaired the driver rear sliding door on my Toyota Sienna, and when I picked it up, I was honestly blown away. My van looked **better than it did before the damage**. The sliding door looked brand new, the paint was flawless, and the overall finish was incredible. What really sets Baba's Auto apart is how they go *above and beyond*. They fixed my rear license plate even though it had nothing to do with the repair, and they even topped off my windshield wiper fluid. Those little details speak volumes about their pride in their work and how much they care about their customers. Huge shoutout to Paul, Willy, and the entire team -- all amazing people who clearly love what they do. Communication was smooth, the process was stress-free, and the results exceeded my expectations. I'm recommending Baba's Auto Gloss to **EVERYONE on Oahu**. If you want top-quality work, honest people, and an all-around excellent experience, this is the place to go. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience…read more Our 2011 Toyota RAV4 has been at Encore Collision since October 2025 for repairs. Over several months, we were repeatedly told that work was in progress, parts were on order, or that the vehicle was nearing completion. It's March 31, 2026 and it is still not finished. However, during multiple in-person visits, there has been little to no visible progress. Communication has been inconsistent, and there were times we arrived during business hours and no one was available. We understand that delays can happen, but the lack of transparency and follow-through has been extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. We also observed signage indicating BBB accreditation; however, the BBB website currently lists this business as not accredited, which was confusing and concerning. At this point, we have had to escalate the matter in order to seek resolution. We hope this can still be resolved professionally, but based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to proceed with caution as there are many red flags despite the positive reviews.

We needed to get that fixed along with the bumper. We took it to Encore and they quoted us $3700. A few days later they called and said that it would be another $400 for a part. Two days later they said that it would be another $200. When we finally went to pick up the car we saw that the bumper was fixed. They also fixed some other things in the front, since it was pushed back. When I inquired about the fix for the anti-freeze the guy had no idea what I was talking about. We had a new bottle of anti-freeze in the trunk and they put it in the car for us. It didn't leak out, which was a good sign. We drove it to Costco a block down and saw that all the anti-freeze was leaking out. We called the guy and dropped the car off again. He called the next day and said it would cost $800 to fix the anti-freeze leak. A day later he called and said it would be another $400 to fix the inverter. All in all, the hubby paid around $6000 for something they quoted as $3700. That plus the fact that they had our car for over three weeks. When we finally picked up the car they did give us a complimentary car wash, which we appreciated. We've had the car back for four days now and thankfully it's running smoothly.
