My family and I work all week during their business hours, so I am unable to drop off the cable equipment at their front desk. They offer no other service for those customers that work M-F 8am-5pm. City Net is unapologetic in their failure to provide customer services that actually benefit their customers. City Net's current customer service phone tree actually says their hours are 8:30-5pm on Wednesday. Their phone representative says that they changed those hours 3 years ago and just haven't updated their phone system message. It's obvious to see why San Bruno City Net has failed miserably and was recently sold to a competitor. Mismanagement is their customer service plan and it shows.

I understand that express pickups are designed to be quick, but it was frustrating to watch multiple people who arrived later get served ahead of me. My request would have taken only a few minutes as well, but it apparently didn't qualify for the same priority. The process felt unfair and made the wait much longer than it needed to be.

Aside from being very knowledgeable about his domain, Kurtis and his team are also able to think creatively about different solutions. The pathway they created for all the wiring took them a great deal of effort, but it's almost invisible, both inside and outside the house. Their team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was installed well while maintaining the esthetic of our house. Asking for small adjustments, like lowering the TV after the first installment or removing older cameras, was never an issue. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kurtis, and I'd be more than happy to approach him again for future projects.

He asked if I'd consider switching my home internet. I said no thank you, he explained the benefits, but then respected my decision. I was there to add another phone to my family plan, from a phone that was currently with T-Mobile. It was a fairly complicated process that I never would have been able to figure out on my own (the family member with the other phone was in Oakland, so we did everything over the phone). Johnathan kept at it, and was so patient when we had to wait for the phone to restart or software to download. While we were waiting he talked to me about my current plan, which was a pretty old one. He helped me find a new plan that will now cost $67 per month LESS than my old plan, even with this additional phone. Johnathan spent so much time with me, even though I'm sure he won't be earning commission on the transaction. He was very pleasant and patient, and got the new phone added to my plan. I'm very glad he helped me!
