    Does anyone know if the Pacifica Comcast office closed for good?

    Yes, if you mean the one off Skyline.

    What's their store phone number?

    Can I come here to do changes on my account instead of being put on hold on the phone for hours? Like let's say I wanted to cancel my cable service and only have internet

    What time they close?

    8pm every day except Sunday when they close at 6pm.

    What are the hours of store?

    Monday through Saturday the store opens at 10am and closes at 8pm. Sunday they open at the same time, 10am and they close at 6pm.

    Can you just show up here or do you need an appointment?

    You can just show up and sign in when you go into the store. No appointment necessary.

Both the business owner you coordinate and the technician who did the work were very professional, polite, and easy to talk with. As you can probably tell from your own Yelp research it is not the easiest to find an installer for Starlink that gives you confidence they can do a good job (maybe not the most common thing in my area). But after just one phone call with The Remo Group, plus looking at the pictures they have shared here on Yelp of their past work, and you will know you found the best option for a professional installation. Setting up an appointment was super easy, they know just what to do - you can really tell they are very experienced with Starlink installations. The technician who came to my home was very professional. He walked me through options of where the install would be and where we could place the Starlink router. He was able to quickly set up everything and even walk me through the setup of the app and router. You can tell they are very experienced and have a deep knowledge overall of home networking. They really did an amazing job. The dish is mounted very securely and the wiring is extremely clean. They really cared about doing a good job and making sure I was happy. If you are looking for a Starlink installer, I would very much recommend The Remo Group: they will do things right.

It's only about 15 feet as the crow flies, but there were lots of studs, joists, and built-in cabinets in the way. Both HOA CC&R and basic aesthetics say no to running cables along exterior walls - but that was the only solution the ISP installers were willing to offer. Enter Cable Shmable. Instead of giving a rough guesstimate, Karim came out in person to review the scope of work, propose a cable path, and provide a solid estimate. The very next workday, Alex and Yunus arrived to do the job. Having Alex and Yunus work on my project felt like being in a happy place. They showed up on time, brought all the right tools, gizmos, and materials, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Their cabling expertise was obvious as they masterfully navigated the fiber through every obstacle and got it exactly where it needed to go. When they finished, the work area was actually cleaner than when they arrived. As a finishing touch, Alex and Yunus are genuinely friendly, easygoing people to work with. They listened patiently to my layman suggestions, explained the intricacies of fiber optics, and ultimately proposed, and implemented, a cable path that was both technically sound and aesthetically pleasing. The name Cable Shmable really fits. It carries an aura of ease and a true "can-do" attitude. When it comes to cables and networking, there's nothing these guys can't handle. I've now wasted TWO full days waiting on a technician who never showed up, and no call, no update, nothing. Just complete disregard for my time. On top of that, their customer service is an absolute nightmare. Endless transfers, zero accountability, and no one seems to have any idea what's going on. It's frustrating, exhausting, and honestly unbelievable that a company can operate this way. When you do actually speak to a person, they are condescending and rude! At this point, I wouldn't recommend DirecTV to anyone. Save yourself the time, money, and stress.. go literally anywhere else.

I emphasized it was one time only. On 01/16/2026, DirectTV debited my account for $120 fraudulently. I called Fidelity Investments to dispute the charge and had to cancel my card and wait for a new one. I called DirectTV and complained about the additional charge to my card. They said the 1st rep SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME that unless Brickman supplied them with a credit card, they would continue to attach my card for auto payment every month! I asked them to bump my recorded calls to a supervisor to hear that my card should have only been used ONCE. I asked if they would reimburse me with a check as they couldn't credit the card I used on 1/5/2026 as it had been canceled. They couldn't send me a check. The dispute takes 10 business days. Thankfully, the $120 was pending, and because I canceled it, the new charge ended up not going through, and my account is restored. Thanks for listening to this complaint about the 1/5/2026 DirectTV rep.

I called Jake and explained the situation. Without hesitation, he said he would come take a look. The next day, he and one of his technicians, Wilson, showed up and spent over an hour patiently troubleshooting the system until they got everything working again. When the work was finished, I asked what I owed him. Jake said there would be no charge given my wife's condition. I was honestly taken back. In a world where it often feels like everything is transactional, Jake chose compassion instead. This wasn't just good service, it was humanity, and I'll never forget that kindness. I previously used a big Bay Area AV/home automation company. I spent over six figures on the initial install when I was rebuilding my house, and after that, every "fix" cost thousands. They had me on a Savant system where even a simple upgrade--like adding a new Apple TV 4K--was quoted at $4,000 because I needed new video cards. I was tired of the "gatekeeping" and not being able to make simple changes myself. I hired Jake to fix the mess, and Barker Tech has been incredible. He didn't just patch things up. he completely updated my network and AV, removed the bloated Savant system, and simplified my entire home automation setup. The result? A system that is high-end, significantly more dependable and simple, I'm able to DIY some things and I don't need to worry about explaining to my wife why a simple change to the system costs more than our first car we bought. The responsiveness is what really sets them apart. I recently had a troubleshooting issue: Jake responded within 5 minutes and had it totally resolved in 15 minutes. Barker Tech feels "too good to be true" because the knowledge and attention to detail are world-class, but the prices are actually reasonable.
