With that in mind, I can honestly say that Bre and Oscar are perfect examples of the kind of people every business wants to have. I've had a 3 year problem with termites in my walls. Call it a nervous breakdown, it was very hard to sleep and feel safe! For three years!! The owner of the building was friends with a family member, so I couldn't handle this *major* problem legally. My family member asked if they would have my place treated, and their first response was for her to tell me 'termites are everywhere, it's not a big deal'. After asking again, they agreed to have a 'name brand' company come to inspect. That person only looked around my room and said there was no problem. Even with all the pin holes and peeling paint. So to make me happy, the owner had them come do their cheapest treatment, foaming my walls. In the two years prior to this, I learned more about termites than I ever thought I would. Two things: 1. I knew foaming only my walls wouldn't work because there are six units in this building. 2. I know more about termites than the person who came to spray my walls does. Scary fact! This worked for three weeks, and then I started hearing them again. If you look up 'termite head banging', you'll know what I'd been hearing every day for two years! The owner said that's the best they can do. Wrong. According to city laws all rental units with an insect/rodent infestation are considered uninhabitable. Social Security doesn't pay enough to live on, so I arranged my life in a way I could start saving to make this go away! I looked here for a highly rated termite/pest control company and found Premium, with the full 5 stars in every review. I called them and Bre was a delight. She even showed empathy for how long I'd been dealing with this and all the sleep I've lost because of it. She was genuine and I felt great about her. A quick appt. was made and then Joel showed up. I didn't know he was the owner. After five minutes he asked me to go outside with him and he showed me clear evidence of termites (frass) in a circuit box below my window, then showed me a large hole where the stucco and roof meet. A hole going right into my ceiling. The other company didn't see these issues, but they also didn't really pay attention or look in every possible place. Joel told me what would work, and Oscar came to treat it within a few days. He was very nice and showed me exactly what he would be doing inside and out. It all made sense. He had to come back to finish one area. When he finished to whole area I heard nothing. WOW! I had to get used to sleeping again in a quiet room! I have a 2 year guarantee I won't hear them again. My very long winded way of saying I would recommend and use Premium ~ light years beyond any other company. They are great all the way around! Thank you!!!

He said that, unless I had specifically requested for a type of inspection to be done, he would not have done it, and that he does not know what asbestos duct work looks like. It was probably my fault for not doing research on a good home inspection relying on the real estate agent to find this person. He took a picture of the Asbestos ductwork but told me that he did not know what it was. If you are doing inspections in a specific area, you should be very aware of certain problems that occur and be able to diagnose them. Or at least suggest that you might want further evaluation!

I called Allguard regarding an unusual problem I was having with ants in my car. Let me just say the staff at Allguard are significantly more knowledgeable and friendly than other pest control companies that I have dealt with. The owner James came out the same day to inspect my car. He clearly told me what the situation was and how it could be fixed. We set up a treatment plan, and he went to work. I was so impressed not only by his knowledge of ants (they were Argentinian ants apparently), but also how he wasn't just interested in spraying my car full of pesticides and calling it a day. I have never worked with a company as diligent as Allguard. Sueann was unbelievable in her customer service. Not only did she address all questions and helped my seller out, but she pulled off an unbelievable feat. Just as I thought I was not going to be able to close escrow because the seller tried hiring his own contractor to address the wood work issues (which were never done correctly), she was somehow able to pull off a clearance in a timely fashion. She was able to coordinate her workers to address the troubled issues that had been called out. We will close on time. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Sueann. There is a reason this company has the best ratings, it is the best. You will know that from your first interaction. I called another company based on the recommendation of my real estate agent. The person who answered the phone was surly and I really felt terrible about interrupting whatever they were doing in an effort to give them business. I was so uncomfortable about how the interaction was handled, I looked on Yelp, and they had terrible reviews, but there I found ALLGUARD! I called and a friendly voice answered the phone. A seemingly good company that does good work. However I cannot find their California License number. The tenting crew created a lot of damage to my yard, and I was not informed that they would have free access to my house. If I had known, I would have hired a security guard. Furthermore, the tenting company's written License # was illegible (?why). Enough said. I will try to work this out with them. I cannot explain the multiple 5 star ratings.
