Very unprofessional and rude Would not recommend he seems like the individual to break something on the computer to make you bring it back

This is a mixed review, but I feel compelled to write it. My macbook air stopped doing EVERYTHING. I like the fact that Mike knew it was the motherboard just by symptoms. What was weird/bad is how he said the my macbookair was so integrated it was impossible to fix. And we would be lucky to get the data off of it and put into his used MacBook Air...for $700. He would include data transfer for this $700. But if i just wanted the data, it would be around $300. I found a motherboard on eBay for 140 and swapped it myself (watching a video online). And even tho I think he was up-selling me, I appreciate that he knew what the problem was. The solid state drive is just like any other laptop and can be swapped easily. Just as all the parts can be swapped easily (even tho apple tries very hard to stop this). So again, i appreciate his knowledge, but it would have been great if he would have just replaced the motherboard... like I did. I found AIT Solutions on Yelp when I put in an inquiry. Within minutes of requesting help, Mike at AIT Solutions responded. He set up a conference call for us to talk through the project and we set a time for me to bring my iMac to AIT Solutions office an hour later. With an agreed upon project budget, the tech staff totally rebuilt an outdated iMac, cleaned every aspect and loaded new software for my daughter and I. The next day, the tech staff set up a time for me to come in for a final demo! It works like it never has/ perfect! Thank you all!!! These guys delivered for me in a crunch! My work laptop went down with a bios problem, Mike had it up and running like a brand new machine the next day. I had an unfortunate break of my internal charging port on my laptop, on a Saturday evening at 8pm. Mike took my call and walked me through what happened inside my computer. I need a computer for school and am on a huge budget due to the pandemic and buying a house so my money is supposed to be on lockdown. Mike offered me a great deal on a used computer so the next day (Sunday) he took my call and told me to meet him at the office. He walked me through the new computer (which ran way faster then my 3 year old computer that just broke) and sent me on my way with some extra hardware to help me out as well. I woke up a almost two weeks ago to a burning plastic smell, and after a little investigation, I figured out the smell was coming from my Dell desk top pc. I unplugged it and figured I'd look at in the morning. The pc is four years old. I thought maybe one of the fans might have dust preventing it from cooling the computer, so I opened it up and cleaned the inside with a q-tip and blew it with compressed air. It actually wasn't too dirty. When I plugged it back in, I could smell it burning again. I came on Yelp!, read some reviews, and reached out to some highly rated repair shops. Mike responded immediately and asked that I call him. He diagnosed it pretty quickly, and I agreed to drop it off. Mike gave me a quote and said he would let me know if he found anything additional. While I was in his office, I mentioned that my daughter was in the market for a laptop for college. He told me he could set me up with a refurbished model that would be top of the line. I agreed to bring my daughter to meet with Mike the following day for a presentation of the machine. We were sold on the laptop. It came with a warranty and MS Office/virus protection installed. My daughter is already using it for a summer class. My pc was fixed as expected. Mike also promised additional support for both machines would be available. My guess is if it's something he can do remotely with little effort, he would just do it. Mike seems like a straight shooter. I always like to shop small businesses. I think it's very important. I don't know much about computers, so it's nice to find someone who knows his stuff and is fair. I have 3 kids and several computers, so it's likely not the last time Mike will see me. read more

In Arizona for business and laptop hard drive stopped working. Looked on Yelp for reviews since I had no knowledge of businesses in the area. Posted a message requesting service and immediately received response through Yelp. Took Laptop in and Mike quoted a reasonable price and turn around was efficient. Only thing negative was a missing cosmetic screwcover on backside when returned. My mistake not checking all sides before leaving. This was only a cosmetic issue and they bent over backwards to try and replace at no cost. I have been using laptop for couple weeks now with no issues and it is working. I'm glad I found this place. I needed help updating a 10 year old Toshiba laptop, so I looked up IT guys on Yelp and Advanced was one of the 1st ones. It also said they had a response time of 10 minutes when everyone else was a few hours. So I set up an appointment with yelp and sure enough I got a response from Mike (the owner) within 10 minutes. He asked me some questions to help me determine of it was worth fixing or not. In my case the computer was not used much but it had all my pictures on it and I wanted it to at least run for that. It also had a cracked touch screen and determined we can repair the computer without fixing the screen. Mike asked me to bring him the laptop right away and he would get started. He was very clear on what our budget was and what to expect time wise. Mike communicated during the entire process and had the laptop ready for demonstration in 2 days. Upon pickup Mike went over everything he did with me in detail. The computer is now as fast as it was new and a lot of fun to play with again. I enjoy doing business with someone that tells it how it is. There were plenty of opportunities for Mike to upsell me on this but he believes in repeat business and word of mouth. Called to ask a question. The person who answered sounded put-out that I would call. Was even more rude once I asked a question. Great website, but I wouldn't want to do business with them. Interesting response from the owner - though the tone sounds just like the person I spoke with. The question had nothing to do with troubleshooting any kind of technical issue (unneeded). Unfortunately, I ordered a PC off Amazon that was dead on arrival. Worked for only a few minutes then crashed. Geek Squad only had surface level information so wanted to reach out to these guys. Mike was great on the customer service level and even got the PC to boot and function for a little after taking my PC in on Thanksgiving Day! Fantastic! Mike did a fast, free diagnostic on my old computer, advising me that my desktop wasn't worth fixing because it was ten years old, and I was running an old Windows Operating System. Unfortunately, all my travel pictures and necessary software and documents were in it, and I was reckless enough not to back them up. I sometimes sell art on eBay and Etsy whenever I find the time, and my latest graphics were in it! Of course, I panicked a little. I kept putting it off, and then it finally happened. My 10-year-old computer eventually crashed beyond repair! Luckily, Mike was able to replicate the data that was on my outdated computer and placed them in a new, and faster processor. I ended up purchasing a new machine from his store that has more memory, bigger and higher definition monitor, and accessories. He even gave me a complimentary mouse pad with his business logo. Great advertisement and touch! I am now writing this review on my new computer, and I'm very pleased with it. It's very fast! Highly recommended. I like Windows 7 and loathe Windows 10, so I didn't upgrade to the latest operating system. I think Windows 7 is the best operating system and very easy to use. However, he advised me that even though my new computer is upgradable, faster and better than my old computer, he suggested that I upgrade the operating system sometime in the future because in 2020, watching movies online might become an issue, plus threats are advancing faster than security software! I have never put a comment on YELP. However, I must do this one. I am not going to write as long of a recommendation as I could. I will put my rant about fry's on YELP where anybody even THINKING about using fry's "Tech Support" will read it. Mike and his Tech saved my business... period. Fry's Electronics had just killed my business computer. Their suggested solution killed my computer. They blamed me (?). So, I asked them: "Are you saying that even God, himself could not recover my data?" Their answer was "Yes, that is right". Mike and AIT recovered my data. They did what fry's said that "God himself" could not do. I'm not saying that Mike and his team are gods, but I'm just saying they saved my business. But, it goes beyond that. Fry's showed ZERO concern about my computer, me or my business. Mike is the most compassionate business person that I've ever met. He was even concerned about MY health, not just my computer's. My husband and I operate a business from home and are extremely dependent on our computers. Through 2019 I suspected mine was having issues, however with 2 unexpected deaths in my family I had no time to focus on it. Mike was very effective and efficient with my computer tower. He gave me a quote and that was the final price. I dropped it off Saturday in the latter part of the day, got my quote first thing Monday, and he had it back to me on Tuesday, as promised. Paid handsomely for a 2014 refurbished computer passed off as new. Payment was to have included installation of printer. Printer was not installed. When I called was told that a Tucson Project was underway and asked if there wasn't someone who could help me. This company doesn't even deserve one star. Came off honest and willing to help. My less then 2 yr old surface pro just shut down one day and wouldn't power on. I started at Geek Squad as I've never had this kind of issue before. They were utterly useless. Tried their own power cord and then said they couldn't help me. So looked these guys up on the way home. After going down the path and exploring options I decided to let it die- but all at the company were transparent, informative and upfront on potential success and cost. Mike did a great job with my computer! He was able to update my ten year old computer with the latest Mac OS software and 8 gigs of ram which has it running as fast as a brand new Mac! I'm glad that I put a little money into my computer instead of spending $1500 on something else. This is by far the best IT solutions and computer repair business in Arizona hands down! At first, I went to data doctors and charge me $60 to just look at what was going wrong with it. Then tried to charge me over $400 to fix the hard drive. I thought that was really pricey. So called Advanced IT solutions and Mike so helpful and informative. Did not beat around the Bush at all with me. Was very up front with everything and actually took the time to talk me through everything. He did a check up on the comp for free. Did let me know it was the hard drive and replaced it for $250!! Also, added wifi on it as well. Price total came to about $325. When we went into his store to pick up the PC, he sat with me and my son and walked through everything they did to the PC to make it user friendly for my son! I walked in this place looking for help with my laptop, He came out didn't introduce himself quickly asked me about 5 questions back to back literally not giving me a chance to answer one word in return so I waited until he let me talk and he quickly said a few things and sent me on my way.
