Only the low pressure pump needed to be replaced, service fees got dropped less than 1/2. We went ahead and requested for other preventative services to be performed as well. Price came out to be only 2/3 of what original quote was. Overall experience, we were very satisfied with the thorough service and fair pricing. Glad to have found an honest repair shop in Daly City.

I gave them a call Saturday morning and spoke to La Lo. He was very helpful, pleasant, and very customer service oriented. I told him about the battery light and he asked if I could bring it in around 1pm since they were pretty booked that day. After bringing in the car, it took about 40 minutes until they were able to come up with a diagnosis for me - the alternator needed replacing. La Lo gave me a quote for the repair, and even did some research to see if he can get better pricing for the part, which he did. He saved me a few hundred dollars, which was much appreciated. He told me I would be able to credit the cost of the diagnosis ($85) towards the repair. I brought the car in for repair the following Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). My wife's car works great now, thanks to DAS Auto! From the initial call, to the in-person interaction, you could tell they care about their customers. Even hearing how they speak to other customers in their shop, they're very honest about the repair (La Lo even told one customer the cost of his repair and that more than likely they might find other things wrong if they went through with it). I highly recommend them! They'll be our go-to mechanic moving forward!

That lines up with what I've experienced, and it sounds like a lot of the older negative reviews were from the previous operation. Today was the clincher for me. I came in expecting to buy new brake pads because I thought I heard squeaking, and I also needed an oil change. They checked it out and told me straight up: you don't even need brake pads right now. Not only are they great for quick oil changes, they have an awesome mechanic on site who can do all kinds of repairs. I had a coolant leak on my 2019 BMW X3 and they were able to locate the leak (was leaking at the coolant reservoir attachment point to radiator, so really hard to identify) and get it fixed for a reasonable price and short amount of time.
