So far so good. Brought them out to detect a leak in and/or around my pool. They were able to find it without the need for equipment based on their experience. Without something obvious like a broken pipe or physical evidence, finding a leak is a bit of an art really. Long story short; they are confident they can fix it and I am hiring them to do so. Considering how hard it was to get someone out here to hunt a ghost of a leak in the first place, and, the confidence they exhibited, I am optimistic that this review will be updated shortly with a fix. This plumber has not responded to a job that is under warranty and was not adequately resolved. Multiple no-shows. A new phone number multiple times. Completely irresponsible. I believe they performed unnecessary major work that did not resolve original issue. They have put me in a horrible position and I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. The work looks good, and the plumber was professional. The owner is very good with communication for scheduling and for straightening out billing. Their prices are also very good. The only problem I had was communication on the day of the service. I should mention that the work was being done at my in-law's place while they are out of the country, there is no food there, no internet, everything is covered and packed up. My wife and kids had to wait outside of the gate for the plumber to let him in, but there were a few communication problems that led to 45 minutes of sitting until it was clear nobody was even nearby when she took our kids back to our house. None of this would matter nearly as much if you were waiting at your home for service, I know my wife would not have been anywhere near as upset, so do consider that. I understand that delays happen, just let me know as soon as you can so I can adjust things on my side to accommodate. Overall I am happy, the owner was apologetic and wanted to make sure I was happy. Given everything, I will still give them a call the next time I need a plumber. read more

This wasn't an emergency, so I could schedule it for whenever. I contacted several plumbers and sent pictures of the leaky faucets. All of them responded quickly with estimates ranging from cheap to very expensive. So I thought, "heck, it's just a simple pipe fitting replacement, why so expensive? There's no filthy toilet mess to deal with, just two nice outside leaky faucets that needed replacements." AEA Plumbing wasn't the least expensive, but I could tell they wanted to earn my business. I reached out to AEA for a sewer line scope and they told me they could do it the next day (which was a Saturday), which sounded great. However, they had an emergency job that ran long, so they called and said they would be able to do it the next day and they would call me at 11am on Sunday to confirm the time. At 11:15 I called to get an ETA, and was told 1-1:30. I called and messaged them at 2, and they never responded. They were very friendly on the phone and via text, so it was disappointing when they never showed and stopped responding. read more

AEA responded after normal business hours to a request made on another site. They had someone out early the next morning to assess repairs and gave me a quote to replace my hot water heater. They had it replaced the same day which I am thankful for! Only drawbacks were: -They prefer cash or check according to the tech. I wasn't made aware of this previously, but they were able to send me an invoice so I could pay online. - The invoice lacks some clarity and doesn't show the cost of the hot water heater and the labor cost. I don't know if they install the cheapest they could find and add extra into labor or not. It is nice to know exactly what you are paying for when spending over $1,000 in my opinion. That being said, the overall experience was good and seems as if their prices are fair. I'll use AEA again if needed, but will ask for a little more clarity. read more

I had them install a new water heater.The quote was $1250.00.After the installation the price became $1395.00.They installed a drain line from the bottom off the water heater to the cold water line going to the mbr that i did not ask for! The hot water flex line from the top of the heater going into the house had a crimp in it,he said it wasn't a problem! After i made the mistake of paying them i found the hot water going to the mbr was at half flow. I called Aaron about the two problems and he told me he would be back out to take care of the problems.He never showed up and would not take my phone calls.I guess thats what i get for hiring a company with no physical address,just a post office box number. I have a rental house my tenant asked me to repair shower valve it was leaking . I called AEA plumbing. The older gentleman that did most of the work was a very friendly guy. My one star rating is because the work was not done properly. The valve was installed not centered looked not right you could see a ring where old valve was centered. Spout on tub was to low an not centered. He put a Beauty ring behind spout that is for the showerhead not the spout it looked bad. Also when they installed new shower head it caused a leak in wall an caused a water bubble in the paint. This leak they say was caused because someone installed wrong part. Which I believe is true. So I had a terrible experience with this company they left a mess they did not cover the carpeting they did not have covering on their shoes very sloppy work they left a mess in street in front of the house. The blessing to this job is I found a contractor that can do a lot of things very quickly he did the whole job in seven hours it looks like you could not tell that any work was done it was re-painted textured he had carpet covered. Oh by the way I had to replace all the plumbing that aea installed improperly. AEA is probably not a good choice. I tried to give him $500 to go away an I said I would not give him a bad Yelp review. But he would not answer me. So I paid him in full today and told the truth which I should've done . It was not the amount of money that was the problem it was the quality of workmanship.he just texted me and said ok to the $500 . But now it's too late. Good luck in business read more

Was looking for a Plumber, woke up to water in my daughters bedroom and laundry room. Searched for local plumber and Aea came up, and sent them a message thru Yelp, not two seconds after hitting send, Aaron the owner reached out and called me. Within the hr his tech was onsite, checking the pipes making a small neat hole so to have it easily repaired once done. He was not able to locate the leak or cause and went into the crawl space above the garage to see if he could see anything up there, he did not. Explained to me that if this was a true water leak there would be water all over and non stop, needing me to shut off the main water feed to stop the flooding and since this was not the case, recommended I call the AC guy and see if this was not a AC leak from the room. He was very helpful and professional and would recommend them. read more

Last night I requested a quote from Yelp due to a few things going on in the home. Neither toilet in my home would flush, and the water from the shower was overflowing. It was all pretty disgusting, to be honest. Aaron responded right away saying he'd arrive in about 1 hour to 1.5, and he stated he would fix the issue. You cannot imagine my relief. At this time it was 830pm-ish. I stayed up until midnight waiting for this guy. Sending him texts, messages, and calling. I received NO response. Bear in mind, there are 3 adults in the home that cannot use the restroom during this entire time. He texted me in the morning 7am saying he could "come right now." Although I was already feeling disappointed, I was like "heck. I'll give this dude another try." What a mistake. I should've probably known. Responded to him and prepared my home for his visit. I texted him again and asked for the ETA. He responds with 1.5 hours, and it might not even be him coming - could be someone else. Who knows. At this point, I cancelled. This owner is extremely unreliable. To him, it's just plumbing. Cool. To me? I have missed work this morning waiting for him, I have not been able to use the restroom in my own home, I am plenty of towels down cleaning up the mess, little amount of sleep, and the list goes on. All this from waiting for him when I could've given another plumber a shot that had reached out to me via Yelp messages as well. Extremely disappointed in this company and this owner. Work looked very good. The quoted price was so reasonable for the repair, I added on converting a 30 year old knob valve to a quarter turn ball valve.
