I have been meaning to write this review as it is much due. Azia's prices are the most affordable for the quality of work she does and that's more than I can say for a lot of these other lash salons. My girlfriends have paid outrageous prices (250) for mediocre lashes that only last less than a week. One of my girlfriends even told me she laid there for nearly 4 hours. Personally for me I can't sit still for more than 20 minutes let alone 4 hours. My experience with azia exceeded all expectations in all aspects. I have been going to Azia for a few months now was referred by my previous lash artist ,who had to take sometime off. It did take a few hours to get a response but it wasn't a big deal & she made me a quick appointment. After my first appointment I completely understood why it takes a while for her to respond, she's busy. The first question I asked was "what are your off days?" She said she doesn't really take any days off and can try to accommodate any schedule which I was impressed with ,there is no shop that will do that. Azia even responded & scheduled me when she was on vacation. It's true she does work out of her home but I have been to a few shops with a noisier environment. My lashes typically last me 4-5 weeks compared to some shops that have only lasted a week. I have also spent up to 2 hours in a shop Azia does them with in an hour or less. I wanted my lashes done for a while now but never went and actually got them done until I had a wedding recently and finally took the plunge. I found Azia randomly on yelp and figured I would text her. She responded so quick and took the time to find an appointment to make it work with my busy schedule. She was able to squeeze me in and I'm so thankful she did. The process so quick, less than an hour, and my lashes look amazing! I went back 2 weeks later for a refill because I wanted my lashes fuller, but they still looked amazing and fell off looking very natural. For a full set, it is $150 but it's unlimited count, as long and full as you want them. Refills are $75 with at least 50% of the lashes still on them but Azia is the sweetest. She does everything she can to work with her clients and makes sure they are happy. I'm reaching the end of week 2 on my refills right now, and my lashes still look great and natural. Azia has been the first & the only to ever do lashes on me. I have always been so skeptical about lash extensions but have never had a problem. I love her work! I have been coming back to Azia since the first time. The amount of length time my lashes have lasted me has been about 3 weeks. I've noticed when I wear fake lashes, they tend to be heavy and droopy on my eyes, but Azia's lash extensions feel so light its like I don't feel a weight on my eye! Doesn't always work out when you go off of a business having 5 stars. Being local and affordable and I guess you get what you pay for should say it all. Texted Azia to make an appointment on May 8th and did not respond until May 15th, after I had texted her again. So no she does not respond in a timely manner as others have said on other reviews of her. Finally after responding she had an appointment May 16th. Mind you this is not a business, she does this from home, so you are at your own risk. I will say she was very friendly and asked how I wanted my lashes and how she typically does them. Fine, so I go with the natural lashes as I don't like the big caterpillar eyelashes. Azia took about an hour and well they looked natural but weren't that many on there. She did say she could have filled more but then they wouldn't be natural looking. Well maybe if I would have known that my eyelashes would only last about 5 days until they all started coming off, I should have had them fully filled. I texted her that Saturday the 20th letting her know and even sent her a picture. She said she was not going to be in town until the 1st and that she can send me to someone else to fix them. Ok so that means she was not able to fix them but yet sending somewhere else to have them fixed and having to pay? I couldn't go looking the way I was so I made the appointment with her recommended person, Ping. Ping looked at my eyelashes and says; "oh you are missing a lot and I have to charge you more than what I thought". Ping had mentioned she would charge $60 but I had to pay $70 since there were too many to fill. Not only that she also said; "maybe because my skin was very oily". I said; "no that is not the reason my eyelashes only lasted a week". I tried a new makeup and it made my face super oily, this was my first day trying it out. I have had eyelashes from the same place for over 2yrs now and have never had this problem. So to use the excuse that it was my oily skin, absolutely not! Ok to sum it all up I just paid $80 to Azia on Tuesday and in a week I had to pay $70 to have them fixed? Do you all think that is fair? I should have gone to a more professional business where they would have backed up their work. I contacted Azia the very next day and let her know how I was charged to fix the work she did. Her response was, Ping mentioned to her that I was using oil to remove my make-up and that's why my eyelashes were not lasting. First of all Azia should not be questioning if I am having to go somewhere else to get my eyelashes redone or fixed with in a weeks' time from when she did the work, should tell you something. I explained to her what I told Ping about my new foundation and I think after having eyelashes for over two years I would know how to take care of my eyelashes. Azia then said she can't refund my money but can give me a free fill. At this point I was over it and just wanted my money back! Horrible customer service as we went back and forth and I agreed to just get the free fill. Well come to find out when I texted her two weeks later for a fill she never responded! Didn't surprise me! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Go figure why she is working from her kitchen! GOOD LUCK IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO WITH HER! read more
