Layla was so excellent with me and my lashes! I got the keratin lash lift + tint for my wedding, which was in the next few days. First, she messaged me with pre-care instructions and after-care instructions, which was such a nice touch. She was lovely, and I could tell during the process that she was skilled and careful with her hands while doing my lashes. She was also willing to answer any questions, and I had and thoroughly explained any products she would use. I also highly recommend purchasing the lash botox and keratin duo; it's incredible for your lashes!! After my lash lift, I messaged her that night because I was concerned that my lashes weren't as lifted as they could be. I'm so grateful to have come across Layla's IG profile. I got my first lash lift some place else and I wasn't happy with the results. I had done my lash lift about 2.5 weeks before my appointment with Layla. The lift with the previous girl has started to lose it's shape several hours after the appointment and the lashes felt super stiff. Upon meeting Layla she pointed out several things about my lashes (how my lashes looked overly processed and fried). I told her about my experience and Layla educated me on several things such as the difference between a certificate certifed lash person and a licensed lash tech, the importance of the types and qualities of products used and the aftercare. When I was telling Layla about my experience with the previous girl how the product had a very strong pungent smell and how irritated my eyes were during the process, I learned that the previous girl used older and cheaper products and the smell is from the chemicals in the products. What shocked me the most with Layla was how comfortable my eyes felt throughout the entire appointment. Whenever there is tape around my eyes, my eyes would constantly tear up, it would feel like my eyes are half opened and my eyes would feel extremely dried after the appointment. It's about a month in and my lashes are still curled. It's so refreshing to wake up with lifted lashes and saves me so much time getting ready in the morning. I still prefer to add mascara for extra umph, so I don't think the tint is still on there anymore. She was very upfront about the tint not lasting if I used makeup remover, so I'm not upset by that. I am a brunette, so I don't think the tint really makes much of a difference anyway. She is also upfront about the results being different for everyone, so something to bear in mind before complaining.
