Affamato's is definitely our go-to place for delivery in the area. We've lived in West Norriton for 7 years so we've tried them all. We liked the place when their location used to be Paesano's but when they closed and Affamato's took over we think it actually improved a bit. The online ordering system is super-convenient and delivery is typically faster than the area chains - on really busy days, like when there is heavy snow or a big game, I've waited at most an hour for a delivery. Prices are a bit high but in line with what other area pizza places are charging. But most importantly - the food! Everything is at least pretty good, but certain things are just fantastic. The pizza is usually great, I think their sauce is amazing but I find the crust to be hit or miss - sometimes it's a little too crunchy for my taste. As many others have mentioned, the hoagies and cheesesteaks are excellent. Call me a cheesesteak snob if you like, but I would never make a comparison between a suburban pizza-place cheesesteak and a proper Philly steak shop, but compared to other pizza places the cheesesteaks at Affamato's are definitely up there. What I can't believe is that no other reviewers have mentioned the strombolis! They are delicious and HUGE - we've never ordered anything bigger than a medium and they last us for days! A big plus - they always include a cup of pizza sauce on the side without even having to ask. So, one star off for the occasionally overdone crust but overall Affamato's is a really good place for delivery. read more

Fast delivery, awesome sandwiches. A lot of the pasta dishes are also really good (the vodka sauce and alfredo sauce are great). The meatballs are really good as wel. This place is fantastic! The workers are always SO friendly and the food is always quick. Nothing is overpriced and I've never had an issue with missing/forgotten food when I get delivery. In the past two years I have easily ordered from here 30-40 times. We have never had something we didn't like from here. Some of our favorite dishes are: Chicken Parm, Chicken Cheese Steaks, Penne with Rosa Sauce, and a regular Plain Pizza which is so simple but delicious! Also try their tiramisu! We have recommended Affamato's to a few of our neighbors who also love it. I really can't think of any reason to give less than five stars. read more

Large pizza a little on the greasy side, but excellent accompanying salad (all chopped romaine and mixed sliced carrots, cucumbers) including garlic knots and a huge portion of spaghetti and meatballs, a lot of good food for a shade over $20. Everything I've had here has been super tasty. Today the manager/owner (I presume) shared some fresh-made meatballs with us -- gratis! They were tasty. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza, but their cheesesteaks are AMAZING. The meat is delicious and rolls are fresh and super fluffy. I usually get one with American cheese and fried onions. Comparable to a good cheesesteak in the city. Their other sandwiches are also really good. I've gotten their turkey club and BLT. I came here with my family for one sole purpose - a good Phili Cheese Steak. Bar-none, it was the best I've had, though I haven't been around Phili too much for cheese steaks. I went to another place around Norristown, and it didn't even come close. The bread was a soft-style [I believe], and it was delicious. There was a ton of meat to boot with plenty of American cheese. I was out with my dad, and we stopped by Affamatos for lunch. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, and my father ordered a cheese steak. I absolutely loved my pizza, and my father said his cheese steak was amazing. The bread is perfect, and the crust on the pizza is as well. If you like your cheese steaks soft and gooey this is the place to go . Tasty and easy to eat and the roll was on the softer side. . For me it is not my kind of steak and I won't be going back but that does not mean you should not try it . The service was fine and the place was clean . The gal behind the counter was helpful and was constantly keeping busy with tidying up the place and refilling shelves . I've been searching for a decent pizzeria in the King of Prussia area for some time now. I've sampled over 10 local places thus far, and have finally found a pizzeria worthy of my New York born pizza satisfaction. I ordered a large pie with half pepperoni and it was excellent. Just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and oil. The crust was reasonable, although it could've been a tad bit crispier. Some pierogies were also ordered, and they came prepared with some sautéed onions and sour cream. These were equally as tasty as the pizza. I highly recommend giving Affamatos a try if you live in the area. I elected to pick up my first order to check out the location, and was glad to see it clean, busy, and having a friendly staff. We decided to order delivery because we received a coupon in the mail. It was not a disappointment! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, an extra cheese pizza and a mushroom cheesesteak. The pepperoni was plentiful and delicious. The crust was tasty. The sauce was very good, but not as sweet as I like. The extra cheese was a thick mound of delicious! The cheesesteak was first rate with a plethora of shrooms and loads of cheese. The rolls were excellent (my guess is Conshy Bakery or Collegeville Bakery). The cheesesteak was nothing to write home about and the cheese pizza was very greasy. We ate in and it felt like the interior could use an updating and a good clean as well. We placed a huge order for a large corporate event. First of all, they did not include plates and utensils which we requested and were willing to pay for and secondly, part of the order came incorrectly and when we called to ask for a correction, "Selena" would not send the correct order unless they charged us a 2nd time. This place has gone straight downhill. My last order was wrong but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't complain. Tonight, I used their online order system to place a simple order...large pizza, pepperoni and onion. They had it to me in 15 minutes. Open the box and no toppings...they sent a plain pizza. I called and the kid that answered the phone said that he was sorry but this was how the online system sent the order and he couldn't do anything. I asked for a manager, and instead of putting me on hold, he yelled to the manager what had happened, and I heard the manager say "he makes a mistake and he wants me to fix it? It was his mistake!" The manager then got on the phone and I had to TELL him that he needed to send the correct pizza. He said that he would send it and that I should give the wrong one back to the driver. That was an hour ago. So now, here I sit with not just a wrong pizza, but a now ice-cold wrong pizza. They obviously are dragging their feet because I complained. The driver got here and tried to charge me for delivery a SECOND time. When I said that I would pay for the toppings but not for a second delivery fee, he told me to "go f myself" and that this was all my fault. I asked him to leave my property and he refused. A couple lessons....first off, the customer is always right. It isn't worth losing a loyal customer (I order at least once a week) for a couple of toppings. Also, if you are going to make a nasty comment, make sure the customer can't hear you. Finally, correct the problem. Don't punish me by making me wait an hour for the replacement because you don't like that I complained. This will be my last order from a Affamatos. It was a good 2 years but you've just not been the same lately. Looks like Kosmos up the road just earned a new customer. There is too much competition in the market to treat your customers like this. Good riddance Affamatos. read more

Absolutely love the food! My husband and I ordered the cheesesteaks and they are honestly to die for! Here is why I give them a HORRIBLE review. The owner himself delivered our dinner and while my husband signed for the bill, he blatantly told us we are too far for him to deliver. We live in King of prussia! It's a true slap in the face because we are giving him great business and it was disappointing to hear such a negative remark from the owner himself, even though one of his employees legitimately told us we are in delivery range. Affamatos is my go-to on nights that I just don't feel like cooking! Major entrees are $10 and definitely enough for 2 people. The CHICKEN FINGERS ARE AMAZING! Definitely one of my comfort foods! The pizza is usually very good but the last few times we've had it it's been burnt or just slightly off, hence the 4 stars. Not mad though! Love this place! This is the second time I ordered from here for a work lunch. The first time I went for a run first and then came back to a cold cheesesteak and was unimpressed. My fault of course. This second time I ate right when I got back and I was amazed how good the cheesesteaks are. I'd put this up there in quality with city cheesesteaks. I'm a Texan who was looking for good NY style pizza in PA. I found it! This place was amazing! Huge slices, great taste, and friendly staff. Somehow my credit card number got wrongly communicated to the restaurant, but even with them having to call back and resolve it, the food was delivered quickly, hot, and fresh. Sorry Geno's and Tony Luke's this place has beat you hands down with the quality of their cheese steaks! This is a little place off the side of the road and is a little hard to spot. Google maps really isn't too sure where it is but it faces Trooper. Of all my trips to Philly, this place has moved to the top of my cheese steak list! Don't bother with Geno's or Tony Luke's, since they franchised out, the quality went into the toilet. Was at PHL yesterday and the person I was traveling with wanted a cheese steak at Geno's. I told them not to do it and sure enough, one bite and the rest went into the trashcan. Whatever you are doing over at Affamotos, don't change it!
