In the end, he also informed me that since this was my first service on our new vehicle, it was performed as a courtesy. I was somewhat surprised and very pleased. Midway and their staff totally met my expectations when we purchased and todays service experience. We finally just said we were coming to get the car. We took the car for trade-in and the dealership pulled up a car fax that showed this car was a lemon and worth only 2100.00 at auction. We were given 2,500.00 for a trade-in for a vehicle that cost us 11,000.00 and 1,200.00 for a new battery. Our loss was 9,700.00. Stay away from this company. They are crooks.

The service writer said he had never heard of this and explained 'sports cars are rough riding'. Thanks, good to know. I jacked it up in the driveway and could feel the blocks under the strut boot. Pulling the boot up, I could see the blue plastic 'puck'. Called back and they agreed to look at it - 'anytime'. So, I came in that Saturday where I was greeted with 'you need an appointment'. Then I realized out of state plates were making things go bad quickly. He came off very annoyed by this 'ambush' visit and said he'd have to check if this was even a warranty thing. He asked if the WA dealer looked at it like they had input or effort here. No, I bought it here thinking pre-sales prep was done here? Finally, a tech ran it in for a look on the lift. 15 minutes later, they removed the blocks and put the car back in the staging entry. The tech spotted me and said 'your key is in the console'. This first shop visit took 90 minutes abundantly clear the are disgusted with any non-residents waisting their non-revenue time. The 'writer' wouldn't make eye contact as I smirked leaving. No papers, no signature, nothing happened... just leave. I inspected the struts when I got it home to find they shoved the boots up to pull the blocks but didn't bother to reseat the lower boot to the strut body which you have to press and form back on with effort. They left it open to dirt. Had to jack-up and re-attach both boots back on the struts. Pretty sure they purposely left the boots flopping. I had carefully put the one I inspected back on pressing and turning to fit properly and why I looked. Not pro work - fast slop to get 'em out. First impression of their Service Dept? How 'bout never again!
