Do not bother..never had worse service in any industry.. Cannot even get an appointment with their top dentist to fix the damage to the dentures they did. Its been a nightmare from the beginning. My wife and I have been customers for a couple of years at this location. I had a soft reline done the first time and the fit was great. My wife also wanted to get her upper denture relined. They looked at her upper denture and recommended that it be replaced because of the age of the denture (5 years old) and 1 tooth needed to be reattached. We went ahead and had them make a new upper denture and her bottoms were fine (implants) Within a couple of months the denture was cracking between the 2 front teeth. We took them back and they (repaired the crack but was still visible) at no charge about 3-4 months later the denture cracked again in exactly the same place. Once again they "Repaired" the crack, and was still visible and again at no charge. Then 6 months later once again the same scenario. Cracked between the 2 front teeth, once again "repaired" at no charge. This last time 5 months after the last "repair" my wife's upper denture completely split in two from the previous crack that was always in the same place from between the 2 front teeth all the way back along the roof of the denture. My wife called them right away, and brought her now broken denture in. The Lab Tech was there and was ready to take them in back and Epoxy them back together. The receptionist told my wife that the charge that day will be $95. My wife jaw dropped as she explained that this was a ongoing problem with this denture since day one, and that this was not right. Then the lab tech tried to blame it on her lower denture/implants since the upper was made after and not made at the same time. I have a hard time believing that, seeing how they did impressions of her lower and upper, in order for the upper denture to match. My wife just went off and told them that it isn't right and took her 2 piece broken denture back. There was a problem with this denture from the start and now they won't take care of their poor quality defective denture. read more

Avoid this business. Completely, fraudulent business practices, in my opinion. Told over the phone, $450 for a partial denture. Made an appointment, and visited the office. Confirmed that the denture would be $450.00 and was told that was a economy partial denture and was permanent denture. There is a menu board on the office was with this price marked. After I had a mandatory X ray taken, spoken with the Dentist, Dr. Chen. I agreed to going ahead with this partial denture. I signed the agreement for this economy denture. After the exams and the impressions were taken. I was asked to sign a document stating what I agreed to was for a "Temporary Denture only " and that I would have to pay an additional $ 200.00 for a permanent denture. Complete, classic bait and switch. I refused to sign and left. I had to pay $95.00 for this rip off bait and switch Will be contacting the Dental Association and filing a complaint and contacting Visa for demand a refund. read more

I was so ashamed of my looks and embarrassed with the way my teeth were and from past experiences with dentists that I actually worked myself up so bad before I went in as I was afraid of they way they would react. The dentist and her staff was FANTASTIC. They were caring and reassuring. The staff was friendly and very professional, they took there time and reassures me and explain all the options. After only a few minutes, a woman came hurrying out from the back hallway and started asking questions. It was Dr. Chang, who had overheard my wife's concerns, and who immediately took her completely under wing. She promptly led my wife away to an examining room. She then assured us that she could help and asked us to come back a bit later to work out the details. When we came back, we learned that Dr. Chang and the other dentists who work with her had been discussing my wife's case, while at lunch. They all took an interest in finding ways to correct the serious mistakes that had been made by the other clinic. They were all sympathetic and positive that Affordable Dentures could restore my wife's smile in time for our trip. Less than 48 hours later, Dr. Chang presented my wife with a perfect set of dentures that not only made her look completely and naturally herself but that fit unexpectedly well. As I write, it is months later. My wife's perfect smile has been admired by many, many people in several countries. She has had no trouble whatsoever with the fit. My wife and I went to Affordable Dentures for a simple hard reline of our dentures. The dentures we had were pristine other than needing a simple reline for a better fit. After a few hours our dentures were returned to us and what a mess they were! The dentures were unrecognizable in materials, color, and quality. After much rework, on the spot, neither of our dentures fit at all. The owner, Cher Y. Chang, office argued about what they had done to our original dentures and advised us that they had "reset" our dentures because their office does not do denture relining, only resetting. She advised that they had to reset the dentures the best way they could. These new dentures were made out of really cheap materials and plastic teeth had replaced now the porcelain which teeth we had. We returned to Affordable Dentures three times for adjustments which were not helpful whatsoever. On each visit we consulted with Cher Y. Chang regarding the mess they had made of our dentures and each time was a nasty confrontation and always ending with her telling us that Affordable Dentures does not reline dentures, only resetting dentures. She said that there was nothing else they could do and that their guarantee had been met by making three adjustments over a ninety day period. Cher Y. Chang ended by asking, "why don't you go back to your dentist who made your original dentures if they had made you such a good original set. The work of this Affordable Dentures facility is of the worst quality. The staff were very sympathetic and nice to deal with, however, the owner, Cher Y. Chang was very confrontational about our dissatisfaction with the results of our new dentures. read more

My husband has had a stroke and is unable to speak, which makes telling someone what is wrong with his dentures totally impossible. I chose Dr. Chang based on the reviews, and I am so glad we found her. She took her time with him, and deduced from his expressions the problems he's having with his dentures. Communication is pretty much impossible for him, but she kept at it until she got impressions for relining his current dentures. We went back the same day and had them fitted after the relining was done. We have gone back two more times, as he messes with them and lets me know that there is a small problem. Each time, the technician has been able to figure out what is bothering him and then fix it. They are truly a wonderful group of people to work with. Even sitting in the waiting room, (which has never been for long), we've talked with other patients who are extremely satisfied with the work they've had or are having done. I've used full dentures for more than 40 years so I've seen several dentists over the years. All were reasonably competent and provided good service. Dr. Chang's practice stands out, however, as by far the most competent and well managed. My latest reline was truthfully the best experience I've ever had while seated in a dental chair and, unbelievably, the least expensive. I first visited Dr. Chang for a denture reline and that procedure resulted in the best initial fit I've ever experienced. If you wear dentures, over time they'll get loose and need to to be relined or replaced. This is because your mouth's structure changes with time and, if you live long enough, it will become increasingly difficult to obtain satisfactory performance from dentures alone simply due to bone recession. While I was at Dr. Chang's office, I noticed an advertisement for what are called mini implants, devices used to stabilize your denture and help keep them performing satisfactorily over time. This was a product that I'd not seen before but they made lots of sense to me, having spent years of "inconvenient, uncomfortable, or embarrassing" moments due to my dentures. I went home after my reline was accomplished and began some in depth research regarding these "mini implants". As a result of the research, I decided to try them. I went back to Dr. Chang and arranged for the placement of 4 mini implants in my jaw to provide better long lasting performance for my lower denture. The procedure took about an hour and was performed by Dr. Chang and her staff with the same level of competence and professionalism that I experienced during my reline procedure. In addition, Dr. Chang personally has made a couple of follow up calls to me just to ensure herself that I am doing well. As a result of my experiences with this business, I've not only found just a first class dental services provider but I've also found some wonderful and caring new friends. on friday sep 17, 2010, at 8:00 am i arrived at affordable dentures at 550 south decatur blvd, north las vegas, nv 89107 phone: 702-416 9955. upon entering building, i filled out a short information form regarding health info, and my reason for being there. (i wanted complete upper and lower dentures-the economy package) at approx 8:20 am i had x-rays taken. (cost:$65.00) i was also charged $30.00 for a oral eval-exam. at approx 8:30 am i had i upper and lower impressions taken. this took about 15 mins. after the impressions were taken, i met dr chang. she suggested that i should have " 4 root ends" removed and also my remaining 5 teeth extracted.. well,,at 62 years old, i don't like pain so i elected not to have any dental work done. by 8:55a.m. i had paid my bill in the amount of $460.00 and was told my dentures would be ready by 2:00pm. at approx 1:40 pm, i received a call from affordable dentures advising dentures were ready. now for the fun part. because of my "fear of dentists, i did not have any extractions done in the morning... when the top dentures were being put in my mouth, they did not fit well and the "root end" was preventing a tight fit; so reluctantly i asked dr chang to extract the root end. (cost: $65.00) wow,,,, there was absolutely no pain whatsoever. she is by far the best dentist i have been to. she and her staff was then able to insert my upper dentures. what a pleasant experience this visit was for me. dr chang and her staff are very friendly, cordial and knowledgeable. they bent over backwards to do everything right for me. i highly recommend them and will be returning in the future to have the rest of my teeth/root ends extracted.... as for the cheap dentures,,, they look good, feel good and i am very happy with them. I am 70 yeas old. I had good teeth until I walked into a door about a year ago. i kept hoping my teeth would reseat themselves but they came out one at a time. Thinking I would never need dentures I had never considered a dentist who made them. I researched prices, read yelp reviews, etc. What i got was the WORST experience I have ever had with a dentist in my entire life! I would not recommend with dentist to anyone. While the prices are very reasonable the dentist herself is detached, gives the WORST Novocaine shots in history, and, after trying to convince me extremely ill fitting dentures were just fine, copped an attitude like no professional I've ever met. I literally pleaded to get the teeth I was told I would need at least three adjustments to fit. I never got a second one. I felt like an idiot begging. While Dr. Chang may have worked to adjust Pat L.'s mother's teeth, she made no such effort with me. Had I been rude, demanding or obnoxious I would have understood. Instead all I did was plead.
