They left me with audio not syncing to lips and I had to spend a considerable amount of time playing with the marantz amp, Gemini AI and tv to 'fix it'. I had suggested another amp and they said you get this one without telling me why I wanted it. He was able to navigate all over our attic and then create nice looking connections in various parts of the house. * Put in 4 sets of in-ceiling speakers to connect to our Sonos system * Put a recessed wall box in our wall to hide AV components, which allowed him to mount a TV completely flush to the wall in our room with no wires showing at all. Texas Media Experts was the first to respond (at 11:30 at night!). One of the other businesses had no ratings on Yelp so I deleted that one, and the third one wanted to send out two guys and charge me $200 (they took almost 24 hours to respond). Between text messaging and the conversation on Yelp, they managed to schedule me in today, and they sent out one (cute) guy and only charged me $120. He helped me plug my TV back in, removed a TV and a mount from the wall in another bedroom, and also showed me how to plug in my VCR. I would recommend them to anyone in the New Braunfels area.

We called Texas electrical connect after a different electrician couldn't figure out why 3 outlets…read morein our kitchen went dead even after 2 hours of "diagnosing" and told us he would need 6-8 hours at $175 per hour to diagnose the problem and cut a bunch of holes in our Sheetrock. We did not want to do that without knowing what the problem was. Texas electrical connect sent Fernando to our rescue! He was super polite and courteous and considerate and very methodical and diligent in his troubleshooting. He figured it out (no holes needed to be cut!) and was super efficient and tidy with his repairs. He took the time to explain to us what had happened and clearly explained the recommended repair and cost. We couldn't recommend him any more highly- we will be requesting Fernando anytime we have electrical issues moving forward.

Eric's quote was reasonable, well thought out and easy to understand. Of the 4 bids I requested, Wire Genie came in the middle in price but Eric was heads and above in his consideration and scoping of the task whereas many other installers seemed to be guestimating effort. Eric had a number of helpful suggestions both from camera positioning to running lines for future use and he did a phenomenal job on running a POE Doorbell camera behind brickwork and only needing one access cut that, at his suggestion, we put a 2-outlet blank faceplate over for future access/maintenance if needed. All cables were carefully labeled and terminated into my server rack patch panel. Awesome work!

Eric is now that guy for me with networking. My home has never had good internet. It was built before internet was much of a thing, it's stone, has radiant barrier, outdated connections, nonstandard shape, etc. I prepped Eric for these challenges among others and told him I had very high standards. He was undeterred and we set up a consultation. Eric had to have really impressed me, as I let him drill through stone which is highly uncharacteristic of me. I now have rock solid WiFi both inside and outside my house ~600Mbps for an extended distance and constant speeds over Ethernet even faster than that. I highly recommend Eric to bring an old home up to modern technological standards.

I called on a Friday evening and he came the next day (Saturday) and quickly mount my flat screen tv. No cords, no hassle. Jeremy installed a 52" over fireplace and a 32" in the office, both with shelving units, mounted to the walls. No wires showing. Very professional and a stellar job. Honestly I was waiting on the lowest but it didn't work out. I took the morning off for the repair and not to waste time I followed up with Caleb at Home and Office Power Solutions because the second lowest couldn't come out until later. Glad I did. Lessons learned, the lowest isn't always the right choice. Actually, Caleb was more responsive than the others before the repair. This was plus #1. Plus #2 was Caleb's availability and punctuality. #3 Caleb actually diagnosed the problem even before he got to the job site and once here resolved the problem quickly and explained clearly the issue. #4 Caleb turned out to cost the same as the second lowest so in the end I scored but not alone. Glad to have Caleb on my team moving forward. Lastly, #5 Caleb's customer service skills are top notch; polite, thoughtful and sincere.
