Came here about 3 times first time I went when they first open and there was a huge line even weeks after opening. Which are expected. Second time we came here because my daughter wanted ice cream. I like how you can try ice cream before you committing to one or two flavors if you do half and half. You can opt for two type of cones, cup or two type of milky buns glaze or plain and they heat up the buns for you. Note milky buns can get messy. Customer services are ok not the best but still ok then some places. My only issues is I went on Saturday October 6 and got me a half and half milky bun non glazed cut in half, the non glaze isn't my fave and it tasted a bit old to me, after I paid with my debit card and went on with my way. As I was checking my bank account online I notice there are three charges for afters in the amount of $7.67 each and one amount of that was reversed. So I'm charge for two milky buns when I only got one. See my point? It's too late to call now and now I have to wait for the morning to get it solve. read more

I was skeptical about the price for just one serving when I can get an entire tub at a grocery store, but it was totally worth it. I was really eager to try their ice cream when I was pregnant and then didnt go until after giving birth. I'm so sad I waited because now im on a dairy free diet and they inly have two non dairy flavors. The mango is delicious but the açai is terrible, in my opinion. I took two bites and decided the trash liked it more than I did. Honestly, not impressed. I had the glazed milky bun with cookie monster ice cream. The glaze stuck to the wrapper, so it was basically unglazed fried dough. The bun was basically a doughnut, but not sweet. Bland and kinda gross. The cookie dough ice cream also did not wow me. Is it just me or was that not very sweet either? AMAZING!!!!!! Went in thinking I already knew what I wanted, but once we got in there and saw all the options and had tasters my mind totally changed. I was undecided on what I wanted and the employee told me I could do half scoops....two flavors, one scoop! My daughter got the glazed milky bun and that was so good. I got the Cookie Monster on the glazed donut and it was absolutely amazing! It's really sweet, I could've probably done without the donut...but I was going for the whole experience. I honestly don't understand why there are so many people lining up for this ice cream. This is the blandest ice cream I have ever tasted. I never knew ice cream could be so bland. You come in, you get excited with these colorful whimsical looking ice cream and you expect strong robust flavors. Instead you get this insipid weak flavored ice cream. The sherbet is just as disappointing with its water down flavor. The only great thing there was the customer service. Don't waste your time here. Been here once so far, I went at night after a movie and there was such a long line I had to wait in. The line went somewhat quick, the service was good and the ice cream was good as well. I got the cookie monster, which I liked. The next time I go I'll take my boys with me so they can give it a try. read more

I have been going here since they opened. My favorite ice cream there is the frozen hot chocolate, to me that's the o oh one worth the pricey scoop. The others fast like normal flavors just died a fun color. I give it 4 because it's my favorite flavor I've had in a long time, but not 5 because you always have to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your ice cream, I wish they would hire more staff. read more

The ice cream is amazing!! The line wasn't bad at all, I went at night so I knew it was going to be busy obviously, but it all went by so fast it was impressive! They had very good music playing, I was helped by a girl in hoop earrings and she was very sweet and talked to me about what the milky bun was. Staff was very friendly which was shocking because you think they would get tired with the long line, but they weren't they were all very kind and helpful. The costumers how ever were kind of rude I don't think some people understand what waiting your turn is anymore, anyways I recommend this place to everyone they have great flavors and good service!! After a 90 minute wait in line we finally got to order a scoop. Flavors are unique thus making everyone taste test a lot. That's the reason for the line I suppose. Very inefficiently run. No menu or flavors listed. Toppings are pretty much cereals and a couple nuts. Time will tell. read more

Went to pay this highly recommended ice cream shop a visit. We were not disappointed. Yes, the line was a little long, but after 15 mins we were eating a piece of heaven. Sadly, this place is messy and dirty. I made my 1st ever trip to Afters on August 19 and slipped on their dirty floor. No immediate rush to clean said dirty floor, no apology, no offer of ice for my knee or a seat. There were 2 employees with a line and not any time to handle it appropriately or courteously. My cousin recommended this place to me bc he knows I love my dessert places. But I also love the trendy merch they've got on hand--which is what I went there for that day since they sold out online. I wanted to be simplistic so I bought the Jasmine Milk tea ice cream on a waffle cone and was in love with the flavor! It was neither overly sweet nor was it rich in flavor. It was just right! I wanted the windbreaker they had on display bc it was the only medium size they had but the worker girl had informed me that they don't sell display merch and checked the back for me. They ran out of medium size but the girl was kind enough to let me have the one on display so I left thinking I was so lucky to have gotten the last one. But it wasn't until I had gotten to my car that I was looking at the windbreaker that there was an enough amount of loose threads inside and at the edges where they are visible. Now I knew why they didn't sell display merch. So I went back and told the girl who was very apologetic and was kind enough to get me a refund. She was unsure how to do it since they don't do much refunds but we were both patient with each other and she was sweet to inquire whether I had received the refund in my account--which it did--after waiting a bit.
